See Netanyahu React to Protester Interrupting His Congressional Speech

Earlier today in our our story about CODEPINK activists interrupting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s AIPAC speech yesterday, we noted that the group planned to be on hand for his speech to Congress today. It appears they followed through. But, rather than frazzle Netanyahu, it made him look like a strong leader, giving him the opportunity to praise “true” democracies such as the U.S. and bash tyrannical government.
The indecipherable* shout as well as Netanyahu’s off-the-cuff response is below:
CODEPINK has not officially taken credit for the protest. But it is worth pointing out that the AP snapped a picture of the protester and she was wearing a pink blouse underneath a black sweater:

Posted on May 24, 2011 at 3:38pmI seems to stand as reaso to me that Israel MUST have very strong Men (or women…remember the 1972 olymic kidnappings and retrobution …PM was a woman) to lead them in their very precarious situation and location. And it also stands to reason in our (America’s) very comfortable, complacent and safe situation, those whom are uninformed will vote for a man mearly due to his race, or due to our own personal twitches and feelings. Most of us were alive and aware of global events on some level in the 80′s, and we have felt very safe ever since then. We had a small bump on September 11th, but that soon faded away as Bush invaded first Afghanistan and then Iraq, handling the initial “scary” part with speed and ease.
And now we are asleep.
And unless we wake up, we will all have our throats cut while we sleep, and the only thing that we will think about is “why?“ ”how could this have happened??”, instead of knowing the answers to these questions and accepting that we WERE asleep as we die with our blood spilling onto the floor.
Just pathetic, really, especially considering all those Men and Women who have died in our Nation’s history to keep America alive.
