See NJ Gov. Chris Christie & Newark Mayor Cory Booker Face Off in a Comical Seinfeld-Inspired Video Spoof

Fans of the ever-popular sitcom “Seinfeld” likely recall the intense rivalry that existed between Jerry Seinfeld, the show’s main character, and Newman, a man living in his apartment building. Channeling this same sentiment, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and Newark Mayor Cory Booker appear in a video spoof that pokes fun at the mayor’s heroics, while teasing Christie’s vice-presidential possibilities.
In the comical clip, the Republican governor finds himself thwarted at do-gooding by Newark Mayor Cory Booker. The plot-line is clearly a play on the fact that the Democratic mayor, as The Blaze recently noted, faced real-life danger last month when he rescued a neighbor from a fire.
In the fictitious video scenario, Booker tells Christie “I got this” as he fixes the governor’s flat tire, helps Bruce Springsteen replace a missing guitar and Tebows after catching a baby dropped from a state Capitol balcony before Christie’s eyes.

The mayor-turned-superhero drives Christie bonkers. Each time Booker saves the day, Christie grits his teeth and says “Booker!” At another point in the video, the major is shown on a phone telling Mitt Romney he wouldn’t make a good running mate. Christie grabs the receiver, saying: “Excuse me mayor, I got this.”
The video played at Tuesday‘s New Jersey Press Association’s Legislative Correspondents Club show. You can watch it for yourself, below:

Posted on May 16, 2012 at 1:19pmThat‘s because you don’t know anything about them. Christie decided he was going to stop all coal plant new construction(sounds like obama) and bend to the PROVEN FALSE green movement on carbon. And Booker wants you to spy on your neighbor(sounds like janet), and turn them in for exercise their right: “Even if we don’t get a conviction.”
Get your head out of your ***es.
Watch Christie cite false number and “alter behavior”.

Posted on May 16, 2012 at 10:57amNew Jersey is a democratic stronghold following Corzine and his corruption. The unions and mafia have run NJ for years and the citizens have allowed this and now must pay for the ending of union unfunded benefits and people moving out because of taxes. Christie is doing excellently and New Jersey will be a “garden State” once again if you keep democrats at bay.

Posted on May 16, 2012 at 10:45amWell, I am sure glad that Christie feels so buddy buddy with the enemy.
Liberals trying to destroy this country, and what does Christie do, play with the enemy.
What, was Christie jealous of Barry being the celebrity president?
All rinos must go! Must I remind Christie about the 16 Trillion dollar debt, Healthcare devasting the country, trampling of the constitution, social devolution with gay marriage, abortions, and sex with animals.
I used to like Christy, I am starting to think he is really a rino! I say no to Christie as V.P.

Posted on May 16, 2012 at 11:46amYet, let‘s get another Corzine JUST because he’s democratic. The fact he’s stolen more money than my whole family will make in their lifetimes. …small issue.
I guess you’d criticize Lincoln (the other RINO) who said, “I destroy my enemies when I make them my friends.” Abraham Lincoln
Who on earth would be upset about people from different views, finding a way to be friendly and appreciate one another except someone who wants only more corruption and destruction?

Posted on May 16, 2012 at 1:42pmWhat is going to destroy this country is the line of thinking that any form of cooperation or conversation with anybody that doesn‘t think EXACTLY the same as you is working with the ’enemy’. Why are you so afraid of listening to somebody that might have an idea different than yours? You know everything there is to know and couldn’t possible learn something?

Posted on May 16, 2012 at 10:39amThat is a great looking video of Governor Christie in action, he certainly lost some of that extra weight he used to carry. That choice of off grey blue french-cuffed shirt and pink pastel tie is exceptional and add to his ultra manly authoritative demeanor. What a captivating charismatic leader!
Christie is upholding the Thinking Tea Movement (TTM) whereby we are allowed to have diverse personal beliefs while agreeing we need fiscal reform to save the economy for our future generations.

Posted on May 16, 2012 at 10:35amLiving in the Communist Republic of Jersey, I am happy that we got the Christie as our Governor.
Report Post »But we have a long way to go, so I wish that he would stop this and focus on the other issues we have such as:
1. Highest property tax! People that have lived here for 80 years, have to leave their homes since they can not afford to pay the taxes… How sad is that.
2. an average older 2500 sf house in our town will have $11,000 + in taxes of which $8,500 of that is to cover school cost!! Our public schools in NJ cost is on average $17,000+ pr student!!!!!
3. Many of the people that have to leave their farms and houses, despite their children graduated high school 40 years ago…
4. If you have 3 kids in NJ and send them to private school, because you don’t want to expose them to the garbage they learn in public school, and the environment. Or if you home school the children, You would in essence save tax payers 51k pr year, plus your $8,500.00 for your school taxes you are in essence helping the NJ budget with almost $60k pr year. You would think you, that would be appreciated and that you should get some tax credits at a minimum! But NO, Nothing..
5. NJ has highly backwards regulations that hamper and slow down the people that are honest and try to comply
6. Less than 30% of working people see them selves living in NJ after retirement, and most plan to leave when their kids go of to college.
I was hoping Christie would do more, and not rest..

Report Post »I don’t see how that how Booker getting elected would be a good thing? The fact that Chris Christie has accomplished anything with our Liberal Legislature is amazing, so the net accomplishments for NJ Citizens are rather small, though substantial if Madoff had won re-election. Ops.. I meant Corzine. (The only difference is that Theft is legal if you know the right people)
