See Obama‘s ’Spilled Milk’ Joke From the SOTU…and Rep. Jason Chaffetz’s Funny Reaction

It was a lighthearted moment during Tuesday’s State of the Union speech. President Obama, while talking about getting rid of old regulations, cracked a joke over spilled milk. And some are saying it didn’t go over too well.

Here’s what he said:

We’ve already announced over 500 reforms, and just a fraction of them will save business and citizens more than $10 billion over the next five years. We got rid of one rule from 40 years ago that could have forced some dairy farmers to spend $10,000 a year proving that they could contain a spill — because milk was somehow classified as an oil. With a rule like that, I guess it was worth crying over spilled milk.

And here’s how he delivered it:

But according to the Huffington Post, “The joke wasn’t really a hit“ and ”the audience let out a very audible groan.” That’s true, although it did eventually break into laughing and clapping.

The best reaction, however, may belong to Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT). The CSPAN cameras actually caught him pretending to be a drummer and giving Obama a type of drum roll or rim shot. You can see it in the video below:

Did you think the joke was funny?

Our President – what a gorp! It’s true that God let this guy ascend to the Presidency. At first plush, I would say it certainly was not for our benefit. However, when taking a second look at the situation, it is at least dire warning, if not God’s judgment. This narcissistic, solipsistic piece of pig slop is a product of this countries turning away from and rejecting the Living God and the ways of the Bible. If this country sorely repents, asking Gods forgiveness and changing our way of living, just maybe, God will forgive us our sins and heal our land. his first evidence of that would be for a huge sink hole to open up and swallow this alive – for the whole world to see both what practicing evil can bring upon the scene, and what genuine repentance go do to remove it. In case there is any doubt in anyone’s mind, Barack Hussein Obama, not his real name, is evil personified – no doubt in my mind or my spirit, and the deceived fools in this country are following him just like the Pied Piper.

Glenn just said on his radio show, (to a Paul supporter….And i’m not attacking Glenn it just led me to a few questions) “We can’t ignore the Nazi movement which is Iran and Muslim extremest”….Let us just say you are right Glenn……Which is a bigger threat to us as American citizens? Is it the Nazi movement from the Iranians, or the Nazi movement within our government?

I am all for fighting Muslim extremism and terrorist if everything being said about them is true (how do i know it’s not propaganda?) but if my fight against that leads me to having to come back to a home where I have no freedoms left I would wonder what I fought for, and frankly wish I didn’t fight that fight.

I have a chance to dodge Muslim bullets and bombs, and I could legally fight back. Dodging big brother is much harder, and fighting back will just make you look like a nut job (with the help of media propaganda) Big brother is a bigger and more dangerous threat than the Muslims ever will be…..

Priorities need to be looked at….

      @CARBONYES

Amen! However, sadly, I don’t think the entire country has been wakened. Worse, I think too many of the approx 50% not paying taxes and the 50% on the government dole don’t want to lose the entitlements and will vote again to keep them. Further, a substantial percentage think Obama is doing a fine job and/or they hate this country and want it changed to socialism.

I share your same dream of national repentance knowing returning to God and our Judeo-Christian roots being the only way to fix this mess. I just don’t sense the pulse of this country as a whole is at the place seeking that kind of restoration through genuine humility. In other words and IMHO, we haven’t seen the worst yet.

I didn’t hear Obama mention God once.
He did mention religions, in this order, Christians, Muslims and Jews.
The Jews are last, but Muslims have a prominent place in Obama’s America.
Overall, Obama’s Tone was very defiant – I won’t back down, we will achieve prosperity, we will rebuild.

When Boudreaux was a little boy they called him called “Tee-Boudreaux”. “Tee Boudreaux” lived in a house with no indoor plumbing. They had an Outhouse out in the back. Papa Boudreaux, wanted the best he could get for the Boudreaux family. So they had a “two holer” outhouse so that two people could “go” at the same time.
One day Tee-Boudreaux and Papa Boudreaux were both in the outhouse when Tee-Boudreaux saw his Papa accidentally drop a quarter into the hole.

Tee-Boudreaux noticed his Papa thinking about something a while then reach into his pocket, pull out a dollar bill, and drop it into the hole where the quarter had gone.

Tee-Boudreaux saw this and said, “Mais, Papa what you dropped dat dollar bill into dat hole for?!”.

Papa Boudreaux said, “May Tee-Boudreaux, I didn’t have de heart do send you down dere for just a quarter!”

That was the lamest idiom from the idiotic speech writer Jon Favreau , no doubt.

And when the Democratic Disciples did not stand up and cheer, Obama looked at them and gave them his girly wide smile, tilted his head and begged for applause, in affect saying don’t leave me hanging here, and of course, and his disciples all fell in line.

While suturing a cut on the hand of a 75 year old rancher, whose hand was caught in the gate while working cattle, the doctor struck up a conversation with the old man. Eventually the topic got around to Obama and his bid to be our president.

The old rancher said, ‘Well, ya know, Obama is a ‘Post Turtle’.

Not being familiar with the term, the doctor asked him what a ‘post turtle’ was. The old rancher said, ‘When you’re driving down a country road and you come across a fence post with a turtle balanced on top, that’s a ‘post turtle’.

The old rancher saw the puzzled look on the doctor’s face so he continued to explain. ‘You know he didn’t get up there by himself, he doesn’t belong up there, and he doesn’t know what to do while he’s up there, and you just wonder what kind of idiot put him up there to begin with’.

The Pope and Obama are on the same stage in Yankee Stadium in front of a huge crowd. The Pope leans towards Mr. Obama and says, “Do you know that with one little wave of my hand I can make every person in this crowd go wild with joy? This joy will not be a momentary display, but will go deep into their hearts and they’ll forever speak of this day and rejoice!”

Obama replied, “I seriously doubt that! With one little wave of your hand?….Show me!” So the Pope backhanded him and knocked him off the stage!
