If you were about to host a three-hour radio show on hundreds of stations in the middle of an exhausting week, what would be the last thing you would want to do?
Well, if you are Glenn Beck you tell everyone to deploy to the Old City of Jerusalem for a full rehearsal of the opening to Wednesday’s Restoring Courage program.
And, if you are Glenn Beck, you decide to do this less than 60 minutes before your radio show begins!
But, of course, it turns out to go flawlessly and the powerful moments in the rehearsal trigger more than a few goose bump moments.

He prays, seeks counsel, brings people on board for some of the most outstanding presentations I have ever seen in my life. And, puts his life on the line. To go to another country and put all these pieces in place is phenomenal. It’s a privilege to even be able to see this on GBTV….God is surely walking with him as he promotes the truth in all his endeavors. Thanks for every minute you are spending using your gifts for the greater good of humanity. Even if just a “few million” of us are on board with you!

There will always be those that call him names, but can’t for one minute believe that he does this from his heart. There are those that don’t want to pay $5 for his broadcast. I can’t imagine how much time and money and mental anguish this endeavor has cost. Priceless. I think that the millions of us that support Glenn are growing and growing and we will make a difference. We have got to push back from these satanic leftist that want to destroy all that is good.

Glenn’s presentations evoke feelings like no other programs can. There is a spiritual center that is felt.. It‘s as though you can feel God’s presence surrounding him. This was especially true at his Washington D.C. event. God bless Glenn and to all his employees who’ve been doing an OUTSTANDING job.. Extra kudos to the technical crew, especially video editing and live feed personnel. I’ve had NO problems watching the GBTV “live from Israel” shows and I HIGHLY recommend the yearly subscription which also provides access to his regular daily show via the web starting Sept. 12!!!!!

I came searching for Him in a Main Line Denomination, that was more concerned with joining the NCof C than in preaching Christ, but I began reading and studying scripture and praying, and one day, sitting in that Church (I was brought by some of the Original members who still believed in Salvation.) the darkness parted, my prayer and heartfelt desire for forgiveness and salvation was heard by the One True God, and I was saved! The door I entered into the scripture may not have been the same one I’d look for now, BUT I KNOW THE GOD OF THOSE SCRIPTURES, HEARD ME, AND SAVED ME! I was a very lost 11 yr old child of parents who were rebelling against Him, if through the scriptures I could meet with the One True God, so can Glenn Beck. In today‘s world it’s called “hyperactive” and we medicate kids to overcome it, not realizing that God may have given them a “Special Gift” which He wants to use.
I remember listening to Glenn on the radio when he first realized that he WAS hyperactive, he was reading the material about it from a Dr. unbelievingly when he realized “This is me!” when the staff told him they knew he had fits that they’d never told him. I think it was Pat who said, “we didn’t want to “kill the goose that laid the golden egg!” We make a really good living because of your hyperactivity was the sum of what the staff told him. Imagine what God can do with that!

We live in a Biblically illiterate age, where universalism is becoming more and more prevalent. I love Beck politically, but spiritually, he is sounding more and more like Oprah for the conservative mind. To make matters worse, Christian leaders like John Hagee and David Barton are standing by his side as he addresses his god, without clearing up that the true God of the Bible is not, by definition, the god(s) of Mormonism. Beck is leading people down the broad path which leads to destruction. Beck regularly states that people as a whole are good. This goes completely against the Bible. People are not good in deeds or thought… that is why Jesus came. Until Beck repents and disowns Mormonism and its blasphemous ideas of man becoming god, then we who are true Christians need to speak out. If we truly love Beck and his viewers then we will say something.

Posted on August 24, 2011 at 7:33amI’m glad you think so…I joined insider extreme on the 27th of August in 2011 with an auto renewal and then when I went to log on around 7:45 AM Monday morning I found that they [GBTV] had blocked my account…I’ve tried to get hold of them all week to get it unblocked but all I get is auto-responses…I‘m so angry and mad that I’m to the proverbial point of…so mad that it would make a preacher cuss! Mr. Beck’s company has knocked me out of the whole program in Israel and my opinion of him, his so-called faith and is company has been drastically changed! Last night I took the TWO years of the “Glenn Beck” Program on FOX that I faithfully recorded every night and threw them in the TRASH! I’m upset, angry but most of all HURT that someone that impressed me as, a GODLY individual would let something like this happen in his business…It IS slipshod and totally incompetent. And as my Dad would have said today even if they do restore my account…It’s too little and too late and saying that they are sorry does NOT feed the Bulldog! I’ve turned it over to GOD as the Apostle Paul told us to do in Romans 12:19 cause HE can handle it a lot better than I can!

Incidentally, the traffic stats for GBTV.COM show a slight bump upwards for earlier this week and then a drop off, which is not good news at all for Glenn’s new business.
No media coverage, no Joe Lieberman (as I predicted months ago), scant number of celebs (1?), and not much positive press coverage in Israel. Not looking too good is it?

Servers do get over loaded and especially now that everyone is wanting to watch the Restoring Courage event. Posted on August 24, 2011 at 4:11am@ Pastor Ray …….I‘ll say it’s tricky navigating and they answered my initial inquisitive email in a couple days, life goes on. ‘) Not much can be bought for 9 bucks a month and the information I’ve gleaned from Glenn over the years not found anywhere else is well worth the price, and I don’t pay for ANYTHING else on the web, yet. It’s the only thing I find worth paying for thus far.
I’ve found bookmarking and logging in here http://bit.ly/nKjVXV works for me, then navigate from the top to videos, that’s how I get his show in the morning and the repeats are down underneath the video section of the page. It took some getting used to and I’m a web coder, so it’s a little goofy I admit.
Don’t give up, it‘s in it’s new learning phase like most are who are on the site. Patience my friend. ;)

I loved your postings,I am a fellow Mormon woman I also love the gospel… I get so frustrated at people who bash Mormon’s who really know nothing about our faith. Most of them go by what someone else has told them and do no investigating for themselves! But that seems to be the norm these days in everything. I am constantly shocked how that many of them do not think we believe in Christ and seem to only know us by Mormon’s. When in fact we are The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The Lord has told us we can be as he is, perfect and exalted on high with the father and live with the Gods I.E. Jesus Christ, Heavenly Father and the Holy Ghost. That is that and that simple. If that makes us Gods as the Father is, then so be it. Why would we not want to be like our Father and have all the Father has, worlds with out end. That is the promise but Amen to everything you said about Glenn. He has a pure heart and he wants everyone to choose for themselves the path. He chose his and blessed be those that find theirs. I pray you find yours. I have found the path for myself and pray I can stay true to the end as I have been a member for 53 years and love the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Sorry to say, but Glenn is clinging to a false religion or Mormonism that doesn’t allow truth to be understood. Supporting Israel is a very good thing, but there isn’t the spiritual credibility to talk with authority about God without the true understanding of Jesus Christ.

So who is in the family of God through Jesus? Is it only the Catholics? Or maybe only the Baptists? Or only those that are in the Assembly of God Churches? Can the hand say to the eye ” I have no need of you…”? Is the Mormon faith a cult? Yes I believe it is. However I have NEVER heard GB teach or preach about the book of Mormon or its doctrines. I have however seen and heard him give a better more impassioned gospel message then 90% of the evangelical preachers out there.
So relax and thank God for harvesters like Glenn even if they are not in your little denomination.
Jesus is the ONLY way to God His and because of Him our Father. We will NEVER be god’s. The Mormon faith is wrong according to the bible. However the truth is the truth is the truth No matter who speaks it. Jesus is the truth and I have heard him speak it!

First we love the Lord Jesus Christ and Glenn had a wonderful conversion story about his wanting to know Christ. It is not your call to say what he knows about Christ and what over 14,000 or more LDS people know about Christ. We love Him, we worship Him, we sing of Him, we try to live His principals with love and understanding of Heavenly Father’s children. You are in judgement, which the Lord said he was the only we judge. We are to love all. You need to repent and get yourself right with God. I pray you do and stop judging those who would follow their hearts and worship, where, how and what they may. As LDS people who are most challenged by our brothers and sisters have only given out love and tried to understand your hate. Shame on you. I have been a member of this Church of Jesus Christ for 53 years and I know a little more about it than you do, that is for sure.

Most of the non-Christians I know still have a little issue with exterminating a group of people because of their race or religion, or both.
Once A&E ate the fruit from the tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil…well you’re a smart guy, you can figure it out from here.
Glenn has a burden to stand up for what’s right and good. You may determine it will not get him into Heaven, but it might rescue some from Hell. Would it be better for him to wait until the world says he is Heaven-bound before he takes action on his burden? I should think not.
Find a way to support the good instead of being a nay-sayer, and tearing it down because you have a different belief/knowledge of salvation.

Second, do not understand that standing with Israel is bigger than just Glenn Becks or my faith but an understanding of Israel as a Political, Military, and Religious ally that needs the worlds support to stay free. As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Ladder-day Saints, I am grateful for Jesus Christ, his atonement for all and his resurrection so that we may all be saved and return to live with our Heavenly Father. It amazes me that people still are so uninformed in what we believe, but more importantly how ignorant people are to the importance of a free Israel is to the Middle East and the World.

Consequently, in fairness, they must conclude (and believe) that ALL religions interpreting scripture differently than they do, worship another Christ and aren’t Christian.
For example: some churches worship a Christ who believes baptism by immersion is necessary; that the Sabbath is Sunday; or that divorce is acceptable, even without adultery.
Therefore, other churches teaching baptism by sprinkling, or just by believing; or that the Sabbath is Saturday; or that divorce is acceptable only if adultery is involved, by their own definition, must also be labeled “Not Christian”, and vice versa.
They are saying: “If you don’t interpret scripture as I do, you’re not Christian!” There are reportedly, kover 30,000 Christian denominations, because each interprets scriptures differently from the others. (Lots of churches falsely claiming to be Christian, wouldn’t you say?)
So why is this church, The Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-day Saints (Mormon) singled out by the others, as the ONLY church claiming to be Christian, that is NOT Christian?
Is that Fair?

If “by their fruits you shall know them” applies in this case; seems to me that Beck’s tree is overflowing with fruit and you are like a certain fig tree I once read about. Looks like a bit of a beam/mote moment. (by the way, the hypocritical fig tree was cursed, if you remember)

I don’t even have cable TV. There was rarely anything on that I found interesting and could use the $70.00 a month for other things.
$4.95 a month may sound great…but if I understand right, it is for a 2 hour a day TV program that will probably be 45 minutes of commercials and reruns on the weekend. If you paid $4.95 per channel that comes to you via cable…would you think that is a deal?
I’m not a member of GB.com either and only listen to him on radio…I don’t see a need for anything else.
A one time purchase of this fine even on DVD’s would be worth it though.
And I’m not on here 24/7…I work eight 12 hour days in a row and then have 6 days in a row off. The days I work I am pretty much in a coma when I get home, and on my days off I swing by here now and then while I work on 2 books and a screenplay I am writing as a hobby.

You also can watch free by finding a viewing party in your area. Or better yet, get on Freedom Connector and befriend a subscriber to GBTV in your area and watch with him/her.
I don’t understand the notion that watching a rebroadcast or watching on dvd lessens the impact of the message. Truth resonates whenever it is told or heard.

If you have Direct TV TBN is channel 372, not sure what channel it would be on Dish Network. TBN will not be broadcasting the Restoring Courage event on 8/24, but will be broadcasting it on 8/31 at 7pm and 9pm PDT and again on 9/1 at 2pm and 4pm PDT.
