See the Massive Shark Feeding Frenzy That Closed an Australian Beach

An unusual amount of hungry sharks were caught on film by a rescue helicopter off the coast of Australia, making the water bubble with their activity as they fed on bait fish.

According to the Australian, the sharks were also a bit too close for comfort to a local beach in Perth and swimmers were temporarily banned from the water as a precaution.

Watch the frenzy:

The Australian has more from experts on the large school of what was estimated at about 50 sharks:

“It’s very natural behaviour that probably happens out in the ocean far more often than we know about,” [Department of Fisheries' shark researcher Rory] McAuley said.

“But it is quite unusual to see it so close to shore, and it is unusual to see it within the bounds of the major metropolitan area.”

He said they were fish eaters and not particularly dangerous.

“Beaches were closed, which is a sensible precaution, but people don’t need to be too concerned with having these species of shark off the coastline — they’re a natural part of a healthy marine ecosystem.”

Operations manager for Surf Life Saving — the company that ran the helicopter capturing footage of the frenzy — Chris Peck said “you usually don’t see them in this number.” Peck said groups of two or three are more common.

Those sharks better enjoy those tuna now because in just a few short years the tuna will be hunting some of those sharks. An adult tuna is faster and more solid than a shark. Just like a dolphin can spear a shark to death, so can a large tuna.

Did you know that the run off from our sewers eventually ends up in the ocean and the wildlife (fish, sharks etc) sucks up our waste. In minute doses but it still ads up. And in that waste there is our meds. Our RX meds. And studies have shown that they are taking in birth control and the males are turning gay and growing extra fins like femals. There is all sorts of stuff poping up in the food chain that has never been there before. YOUR local water treatment plant does NOT screen for RX meds in the water YOU drink. Its not some conspicary or anything. But these things do get into humans. Not all himans react the same way to RX meds. Then when you add floride, BPA and vaccines. Hell its no wonder America has the HIGHEST cancer rate in the world. Now that is a real conspicary that is going on. The eliets know about that stuff. Thats why the queen of england and the Japanes leaders and other world leaders get there own special kind of vaccines, and never eat the type of food we do. They eat organic and take there own food with them everywhere they go.

Yes pharmaceuticals in waters ….public knowledge for the better part of a decade.
what do you think can / should be done? and by whom?
Different economic levels spend money differently; you want organic meat? Reallocate your funds or earn more. Nothing is stopping you here in the USA.

And I thought the shortage of tuna was from the sushi lovers? Time to kill these tuna eaters before my dinner gets more expensive.

They were not feeding. They were trying so hard to get away that the water was splashing. It seems that Oprah jumped into the water nude and the sharks saw her ‘vajayjay’ and thought someone was trying to throw a harness on them. They were swimming away so fast they left skidmarks in the bubbles.
