How Many Heads and Beaks Does This Mutant Bird Found in Mass. Have?

Massachusetts Woman Spots Deformed Baby Cardinal With Two Heads and Three Beaks

"Beaker" (Photo: April Britt via the Daily Hampshire Gazette)

With spring well underway, baby animals are cropping up left and right. One of the more common ones to spot are baby birds, but this one seen by a Massachusetts woman was far from normal.

The chick April Britt saw in her Northhampton backyard, according to CBS Local, had two heads and three beaks. Britt states she had seen adult cardinals in the area before, suggesting the chicks are of that species. While many birds would abandon a deformed chick such as this, Britt says she frequently saw adults coming back to feed it.

“I thought it was pretty rare. I’ve definitely never seen anything like it. I’ve seen a two-headed snake and I’ve seen a frog in a pond with three legs, but I’ve never seen a deformed bird like this before,” Britt told WBZ NewsRadio 1030.

CBS reports experts saying it is unlikely the bird will make it well into adulthood. Tom Lautzenheiser with the Massachusetts Audubon Society believes it is unusual that the bird has even lived long enough to be able to move around on its own, according to the Daily Hampshire Gazette.

The Gazette reports as of Tuesday the bird and its parents were no longer at their previous location. Britt said if they had been around longer, she would have named the chick “Beaker.”

This is nothing more than concrete evidence of the fallout from FUKUSHIMA, which has more heavily affected the northern US.

If those birds start eating each other, I‘ll know Fukushima’s nuclear floating debris in the air, in the clouds is the reason for all the cannibalism.

Usually the parents will abandon a baby like this because they can’t afford to spend the energy to feed a baby that will not be able to grow up and survive. I am surprised it was fed at all. Maybe it was a first time parent.

      It‘s a parallel to Obama’s life.
His mommy went slummin’ and get knocked up by a freak and little Barry popped out.
What should not have survived managed to hold on to life and later vowed to destroy the universe because any God that would allow all that cruelty to happen to him needs to be replaced by Barry so he can right all the wrongs. (unless you’re white.)

Poor little bird but I have to joke alittle….one bird-brain would want to fly north for the winter and the other bird-brain would want to fly south for the winter.
Wait, this will be told to us this was caused by global warming.
I put Fox on mute because our leader is speaking now regarding “a bird-in-a-bush“ is in ”his house” and he can’t wait for this ceremony to get over so he can get back to messing with OUR country. Thought I would never say this,I agree with the poster that showed Pres Bush waving and the caption “Miss Me Yet”. There is laughter and clapping as Pres. Bush is speaking….gosh it feels good to see a leader laugh & smiling and enjoying life. The greatest First Lady ever is what Pres.Bush is saying and now Laura Bush will speak. This is a treat to see them both looking happy & in good health. Pres.Bush was not one of my favorite Pres. but do wish him well and all of his family.

This disproves macro evolution . Mutations cause deformity, disease , and sterility.

No, you do not understand genetics or evolution. Most mutations are bad or have little to no effect, that is true. Evolution proceeds via the rare mutation that is beneficial. This particular bird just happens to be an example of a dramatically bad mutation. This disproves nothing.

Stop trying so hard to defend a bronze age mythology.
All mutations, good or bad, prove evolution is tangible.
If not then bad mutations only prove god is cruel and not worthy of worship.
