See the Romney Speech the Obama Campaign Called ‘Unhinged’

The Obama campaign accused Mitt Romney of growing 'unhinged' on Tuesday after the Republican candidate noted how divided the country has become over the last four years, before telling Obama to take his 'campaign of division, anger, and hate back to Chicago.' (Photo: Getty Images)
Mitt Romney gave a no-nonsense speech to roughly 5,000 supporters in Ohio on Tuesday, and the Obama campaign responded by, essentially, calling him a liar and a lunatic.
Campaign press secretary Ben LaBolt said: “Governor Romney’s comments tonight seemed unhinged, and particularly strange coming at a time when he’s pouring tens of millions of dollars into negative ads that are demonstrably false.”
(Related: Biden To Audience That Includes Black People: Romney Is Gonna ‘Put Y’all Back in Chains)
The campaign’s wild response could also be a reaction to how favorably the speech was received. Buzzfeed said it was one of the most “hard-edged” of the campaign, and RightScoop described it as “the most hard-hitting yet inspirational speech” Romney has given to date.
Watch the Buzzfeed clip below to see Romney “unhinged,” in the words of the Obama campaign:
In addition to slamming the president’s policy on coal, Romney added:
“This is an election in which we should be talking about the path ahead, but you don‘t hear any answers coming from President Obama’s re-election campaign. That‘s because he’s intellectually exhausted, out of ideas, and out of energy. And so his campaign has resorted to diversions and distractions, to demagoguing and defaming others. The president is taking things to a new low. His campaign and his surrogates have made wild and reckless accusations that disgrace the office of the presidency. Another outrageous charge just came a few hours ago in Virginia, and the White House sinks a little bit lower. This is what an angry and desperate presidency looks like.
President Obama knows better, promised better, and America deserves better. Over the last four years, Obama has pushed Republicans and Democrats about as far apart as they can go, and now he and his allies are pushing us all even further apart by dividing us into groups. He demonizes some; he panders to others. His campaign strategy is to smash America apart, and then try to cobble together 51% of the pieces. If an American president wins that way, we would all lose…but he won’t win that way.”
[...]
“So Mr. President, take your campaign of division, and anger, and hate back to Chicago, and let us get about rebuilding and reuniting America.” [Emphasis added]
Romney adviser Kevin Madden told Buzzfeed: “It’s important to point out just how far President Obama has wandered from his hope and change rhetoric…It’s become so clear, too, that it was just rhetoric, just idle words with no meaning.”

Posted on August 15, 2012 at 3:08pmWow! If that‘s unhinged I’d like some of those hinges. He hit the nail square on the head with his comments, and that offends the ever thin skinned Chicago political machine that doesn’t want to be criticized by anyone.
Obama has NEVER done anything useful in his life that anyone knows of, and whatever he has done has been destructive to this country and it’s citizens. He seems to believe that he’s helping the poor by tearing down the wealthy or successful, but it‘s never worked anywhere else and it won’t work here. Obama’s too much of an ideologue to see or understand that though.

Posted on August 15, 2012 at 5:00pmYou would think that it has to get to Romney that every time says something in the present, there is a video or audio of him saying the exact opposite during a prior situation. His so called pro coal comments the other day and his 2003 statement about how he would not support something (coal as he was standing in front of a coal mound) that kills people. As far as his blatantly false ads the best has to be Obama’s Medicare cuts. Now I’ll go slow for the folks here as I know your ideological filter will have trouble accepting a truth that does not support your narrative. But the so called cuts to Medicare were negotiated lower payments to hospitals and drug companies. They agreed to them as the money represents the amount Medicare now compensates hospitals and drug companies for free care and prescriptions they provide. When everyone is covered by some form of health insurance then there will be no free riders and hospitals and drug companies can reduce their prices to Medicare and private insurance companies by the amount that was underwriting this free care. So you can continue repeating your Truth With An Agenda” but it is nothing more than a BS agenda.

Romney the most secretive canidate, that is so funny. We know more about Romney then we will EVER no about this WHite House. What about Fast and Furious? The intel leaks?
