Does Trump ‘Lose It’ During CNBC Interview?

Note from Editor-in-Chief Scott Baker: A large number of comments on this story indicate great disagreement with Business Insider characterizing Trump’s tone as a “Dean scream” moment. We’ve altered our headline to make it a question. Please post your thoughts to comments.
Donald Trump just appeared on CNBC, and according to Business Insider, this could be known as his “Dean Scream” moment — “the on-air event that ended Howard Dean’s presidential campaign in 2004.”
What got Trump so upset? A New York Times article that slammed him and some recent business dealings. BI explains:
The article reports that more than 300 people are suing Trump after he removed his name from properties they purchased. Those involved in the lawsuit allege there was no disclaimer that Trump was not the developer of the properties, but rather just “rented his name” to the actual developers.
Now watch Trump take out his frustration on CNBC:
Editor’s note: Business Insider updated their original post –
Executive Vice President and Special Counsel to Donald Trump Michael Cohen has responded to this morning’s video on CNBC telling us,
“Mr. Trump provided an immediate rebuttal to the claims alleging that he was the developer of either of the failed projects. Mr. Trump further explained that the offering plan included specific language evidencing that he was the licensor and not the developer. The ensuing conversation between Mr. Trump and Simon Hobbs stems from Mr. Hobbs apparent lack of knowledge of the housing crisis this country is still working through. From the multitude of deals that Mr. Trump has been involved with, as either the developer or the licensor, the projects were extremely successful.”

He may even be correct concerning this accusation, but he goes overboard in defending himself. A thin skin is a symptom of arrogance. Did you hear the condescension in his voice when he said “Hello, Simon, whoever you are, Simon.” And let us not forget how he kept claiming that he had been shown incredible evidence that Obama was born in Kenya and kept teasing it and teasing it and never showing said evidence? And then after Obama releases the certificate Trump never mentions it again. I, personally think he was lying the whole time. He never mentioned a single name of these supposed investigators he hired and it wouldnt surprise me in the least if he never hired anyone at all. He is the snake oil salesman and he‘s saying the things he says because he’s decided to pull his medicine wagon up to a TEA party gathering and he thinks that’s what we want to hear.

These interviewers were leftist dregs who were trying to talk over Trump and not give him a chance to reply. He took the fight to them and gave a good account of himself and of the situation.
One of the greatest things the Republicans have always lacked is spine. They have a wimpishness about them when it comes to defending themselves aggressively enough. The liberals hate Trump, because he’s absolutely fearless and will tell it like it is. The Republican effeminates hate him, because he doesn’t pretend to be above the common man and take on their time-honored role of playing manager instead of fighting back, something the bomb-throwing liberals just love, because they’re so easy to intimidate.
The Republicans and Independants who like a good fight want to at least see Trump in the race, because he’s the only one who will call a spade a spade, something that the Republicans never, ever did, and the reason they can’t seem to win to any extent.
Could the Republicans have picked any worse candidates than Dole or McCain? The liberals loved them, because they were afraid to say anything that might be true if it were controversial, and neither one of them is articulate beyond a short sentence or two. They j

Posted on May 13, 2011 at 3:00pmI‘m sorry he most certainly didn’t “loss it”. He is talking with force but that is about it. If any of you really listen to what he is saying it makes perfect business sense. I think Mr Beck and his staff have a vendetta against Trump. We all know Glenn doesn’t like him for the whole birth certificate thing. which in my view is very hypocritical of Glenn because he is the one who is always saying “question with boldness” and that is exactly what Trump was doing. Asking bold questions. I’m still a Glenn fan but lately he has being going in the wrong direction. I think his verbal attack on McCain’s daughter was childish and frankly disgusting. Glenn is slowly losing “points” with me.

Posted on May 13, 2011 at 3:49pmOkie from Muskogee: I can‘t get over how this nasty vile excrement reigning in DC and across the air ways in America can’t stand the thought of a Trump gaining Momentum.. Like him or not he’s a wildcard. He’s not a damn pawn.
What people should be far more pissed over is how these Interviewers have an agenda and are like pack of wild dogs on the pursuit… But no Mr. Beck and his staff doesn’t have an issue with that.. It’s the Dean scream??? lol
I love what I hear Trump saying and until he says something that I really don‘t like I’ll continue to support him. I assure you I won’t be supporting another Republican Neo-Con insider next year and I’m sure 10s of millions of other Conservatives across this nation are not either.
I was listening to the interview live and was so excited over how Trump was whippping their pathetic NBC Marxist ass I called my wife in to listen.. These people in the Media are worse than maggots I’m serious how can you not want to throw up after watching them…

They all protect Obama on the birth certifcate issue even though he’s produced an obvious fraudulent certificate.. From what I hear that issue is not over yet but in a sense I’d almost rather run against Obama than Clinton so maybe they should keep quiet about it..

I hate to even say it on this site but I tend to believe that Trump may not necessarily be a lap dog for Israel.. Wild card; hence the treatment in their Media.

Posted on May 13, 2011 at 4:31pm@CATB, chances are not one of them listened to the entire interview. I‘ve noticed that’s pretty common here. Everybody just reacts and they have no idea what they are reacting to. I didn’t hear anything wrong with this interview at all. I’m certainly no Trump supporter (he’s to liberal for me), but can you imagine how hard it has to be to try to inform the morons in the media what it’s like to do a business deal? I’d bet 80% of Americans simply would have no idea what these guys were even talking about. Pathetic!
