SEIU’s Plan For The Coming Week – Protests EVERYWHERE

If you were thinking that the protests in Madison, Wisconsin just developed organically, think again.  There is a well coordinated machine operating in the background, handling details like sign printing, busing folks to and from the protest, as well as scheduling groups of various members to appear on a rotating basis. They have also developed a game plan for the week ahead, not just in Wisconsin but at state capitals across the country.

The country’s second largest labor union, SEIU is helping the Wisconsin teachers as well as assisting in revving up potential protesters around the country.  This list was copied from their web page just today;

Almost 400,000 votes were counted by CNN’s non-scientific survey.  The results show that SEIU’s members might be better served working on improving their image with the public instead of organizing protests around the country.

    unlike the tea party who protest in decent and NON-VIOLENT form…

      ULYSSESP – the schools have been indoctrinating the children against their parents. The global warm…I mean “climate Change” BS has gotten them so scared that they are blaming the older generation for ruining the planet. Not to mention the “story of stuff.” This is grammerschool I’m talking about. I used to work with them.

    It will be interesting to see how these protests compare to the peaceful patriotic themed Tea Party events. I’m picturing hate and rage along with countless signs calling people Nazis, calling for people’s deaths, foul language and on and on. It will show who the left truly are (again) and will be a stark contrast to the tea party Im sure.

      Actually, we can’t ignore them. While they behave like petulant toddlers, there are so many in their camp that silence on our part hands them the battlefield.

      The Left is entrenched, and the media are their biggest asset. Their control of colleges requires time to win the intended prize, and nothing is sure for them. Any student liberal at age 19 cane become Conservative by age 20. It’s a factor, but it doesn‘t serve the Left’s immediate need.

      The MSM, however, DOES serve to their (liberals’) immediate need. The last thing we on the Right should do is ignore the Left, let it pass by as an ‘aberration’, that it will pass. The same thing was said by many in Germany about Hitler: “The people will see he’s a fool, ignore him.”

      We need to fight the Left hard on all counts, every time. If we ignored them in the Tucson shootings instead of battling them like we did, you can bet protesters in Madison would also be blaming their own duly-elected Pub government for the horror there in Arizona.

      You know, I have to wonder about Cons who say to ‘ignore’ the Left. Realistically, it can’t be done with any hope to defeat liberalism. I mean, if a mugger comes with a knife to rob someone, will ‘ignoring’ the mugger stop the crime?

      I think we kept silent too much in the past……..more or less ignoring them on smaller things….and now it looks like they accepted our silence as acceptance or agreement. I don’t want any violence, but we must be heard in our disagreement with their views. We are to the point now of people calling evil, good and good, evil……we just can’t be apathetic about that!!

    I can’t honestly recall a good story about a union since EVER. I do recall news items about union workers stealing cheese from the poor in Boston, being fired, then having to be rehired with back pay because they were union. Never read a kindly story about them. I don’t think they care what their image is as long as they can strong-arm their workers and the public to gain more power. I declare it is past time for them to go the way of the dinosaurs.

    Is there any wonder why they want to increase taxes? The unions get the workers more money, from which the unions can take more money from them, and then give it back to the communist politicians. All the while, the private non-union employees pay higher taxes, make less money, and pay for an agenda that will ultimately put them out of work. Utopia?

    “Dear Governor Walker,

    I am writing you with a very grave concern for the safety of the people protesting inside of the capitol rotunda and your state‘s legislators’ safety.

    Considering the dynamic makeup of protesters, the close quarters of the over crowded capitol rotunda and the potential for irrational violence by some…

    If someone was to use this heated situation to opportunistically act in violence inside of the capitol the potential for loss of life would be massive.

    Imagine five thousand people breaking into physical violence at one time and the rush of humanity trying to escape it, now imagine that inside of the rotunda.

    I must strongly urge you to clear the rotunda as quickly as possible to non business foot traffic and confine protesters to the capitol grounds.

    If this situation were to erupt into violence inside of the rotunda the bloodshed and loss of life could be immense.

    If you look at crowd psychology and consider the potential for irrationality, this situation is in fact dire.

    I am not suggesting that either side is inherently violent or prone to violence but if this were to happen you would be immediately blamed for failing to control one side or the other.

    I urge you to act on this issue in the interest of every person’s right to speak but also in the interest of public safety and civil order.

    Thank you most sincerely for your time, ”

    It’s a sad moment, the teachers send their kids to private schools in WI, they have no faith in the schools they teach at. They take off days with fake Dr notes, and state they care about the kids.The parents have to find sitters so they can go to work costing them more daily. They were asked to give up only 5% of their wages, the other citizens will pick up the other 95%, they need to wake up,people do not like these crooked unions , Detroit case in point of how sucessul they really are!

      This group advocates fleecing anyone that does not belong to a Union, namely the vast majority of taxpayers. The teaches in WI are a bunch of malcontents that produce a poor product that is evidenced by test scores compared to the rest of the world.       1. New slogan: The protests and their organizers pursue “POLITICS not PUBLIC SERVICE”.

      2. Insist that commentators USE THE RIGHT WORDS. There is a big difference between PUBLIC Sector Unions and PRIVATE Sector Unions (just like there is a difference between ILLEGAL immigration and LEGAL immigration.

      3. The left thinks society can be “Engineered” (quotas, public health, gun control, etc.), and they think that “PUBLIC OPINION” can be “engineered” to look genuine and “grass roots”, when we know it is substantially “contrived”. Like Obama, they think PERCEPTION is reality, but the U.S. citizens know better.

      Fellow patriots considering counter protests be forewarned you are being baited. The left is till seeking an event of physical action. They have been quiet with there whining over the “violent rhetoric” but make no mistake they want a crisis. SEIU is notorious now for inciting violence, the video footage has been shown time from time. Things are now really heating up you can be sure someone will try to start something. Stand down no matter what if you pan to take part in a counter protest if you are directly confronted, make sure cameras are rolling everywhere. They are looking for a fight do not give them one. Remember who is working with the unions.. the hardcore radicals socialist groups etc. There will be agitators brought in to incite violence they need it to rein whatever this machine is they are trying to start.

      And, good luck on President’s Day, with offices closed. Hope they have a great time in Atlanta, with traffic already a nightmare and no parking. State employees have filled the spots. Wonder if they will feed the meters?

      Where are all the busses coming from?! At least the homeless will get booze money for holding protest signs! That’s what they did in Wisconsin. Tell you what, folks–Georgia is a Republican state with Republican-controlled legislature. Nathan Deal knows he had better stand up against them. I am sure that John Lewis and Co. (the Communist Democratic Caucus members from Georgia) will be sure to have a hand in this.

      I think that this “pretend” union rallying is a setup I think to encourage radicals to unrest. In fact I think it is quite obvious. I am really tired of every time I turn around the same players are at the table (SEIU, AFL-CIO, Soros, etc).

      While we in the “silent majority” have to work, there are people out there able to “protest” at a moment’s notice. Will the silent majority get to a point that we have had enough and make our voices heard also? I am just very discouraged this morning.

      Snowleopard, I’d be interested in your thoughts on this……

      I was thinking seriously that the whole plan was coming together as planned by those who have worked long and hard to bring chaos. The structure was being put in place. The riots were starting.

      However, I am now — especially with the article above — coming to believe that the Progressives are lurching forward in panic. The rhythm is not logical and leaves way too much to possibly tip away from their goals. For example:

      Standing back, we can see the international dominoes begin with Greece and then Ireland. The next projected unrest was said to be heading towards Spain and other European countries. They’ve died down quickly in light of the Middle East uprisings, starting with Tunisia and then Egypt. In quick succession we saw chaos erupt in other Middle Eastern countries. Many are on the brink of collapse, but none have had any turnover of government at this point.

      We collectively have been watching states like California and New York, knowing that their debt-ridden culture would end up with them asking for federal bailouts. (Bailouts have come into disrepute these last 18 months or so and I wonder if another tactic had to be considered.) But, pundits on both sides of the aisle believed that somehow the people of this country would have to prop up the overdrawn states.

      Suddenly, Wisconsin erupts with protesters? Really? I know that Wisconsin is the home of the Progressive movement and perhaps this state was chosen simply because they have a well-entrenched Progressive culture. But their rationale for protesting is so incredibly shallow and easy to demagogue. Parents are pissed that they suddenly have to find daycare to take care of their kids. Or, the parents are losing money by having to stay home to take care of kids. The Democratic representatives actually FLEE the state in a universal show of cowardice. It’s becoming more evident that these federal workers are very highly paid as compared to their compatriots around the country.

      And now the SEIU is proposing nationwide marches this week in a show of solidarity with their brothers in Wisconsin. Really?

      Looked at in its totality, I am coming to think that the carefully crafted house of cards is wobbling. Seriously wobbling.

      And, collectively, there doesn’t need to be a very strong wind to bring that house of cards down.

      Am I wrong? What am I missing?

      Jobs have been leaving the “Closed Shop” states and moving to the states with Right-To-Work laws for some time now. The result has been the union bosses fighting against Right to Work legislation wherever it is talked about because they have become accustomed to the large union coffers. Follow the money…they have the authority to use it for their personal agendas and not require approval of the rank and file membership. If they were truly interested in their membership they would be talking WITH them and not talking AT them and telling them what to do. They don’t know what to do except the same old crap they have been doing for years…support the progressives and grow government which helps them grow their unions.

      If they insist on disrupting government services by getting a bogus doctors excuse and not showing up for work causing my child to miss school and me having to provide a baby sitter because of it while I have to go to work to pay for 100% of their wages, the days they take for sick leave to protest, their lucritive pensions and their golden healthcare programs that they don’t even contribute to.
      I might as well just take a day off without pay and go to where they are protesting and beat a few of them up with my baseball bat. What have I got to lose?
      Maybe I’ll beat up a few of those phony doctors or some of those commie out of state union hacks who like to hold signs calling us Nazis. Grab them by the hair, knock them off their feet and kick them in the face. That’s what they seem to like to do to the rest of us who pay for their dis-service. Maybe figure out where they live and throw things at their homes while their kids are inside just like they like to do to us.

      Where is the apology from the left for calling this “manufactured unrest” an absolute lunatic fringe scare tactic just last year when Beck was prediciting this would happen, he just didn;t know when it would. Seems to me that Beck is very close to perfect in his predictions thus far and why not…he’s the only devoting seroius research time to his assertions. At some point the left has to admit the obvious or all of their credibility (what is left of it) will be gone in the eys of the average American …..if that hasn’t already happened. The SEIU if they go through with this I feel it will be a major mistake on their part….the majority of the public is not with them. As Beck has said…they are taking thier shot knowing that the window of opportunity for thier platform is rapidly closing. IMO they have shot themselves in the foot and that window of opportunity has already slammed shut. 2012 will be the final nail in the Progressive/commie coffin.

      My apologies for the delay in responding, in answer to the ideas of a house of cards and them reaching out too far in a panic?

      The means shown lately by them indicates a certail level of desperation is building, as many of their leadership have been exposed, the means exposed, and the allies of the liberal media having to at last admit their own biases to the public at large.

      Indeed they are reaching out far and fast as well, for they have come to realize there is only a limited time left, and the window has now started to close rapidly for their own agenda. They are now in the process of what can happen among a ‘coalition of mutual interests’ in where the interests are starting to come to cross purposes, and the opposition is not going to play along or just go off and die.

      So we still need to be cautious, not afraid, they are a wounded aniamil yet; the card house will come down under their own weight, or when the people of America get so fed up, like is happening, we are pushing peacefully back and take their feet out from them.

      I am all for continued rallies by SEIU and all other union organizers – keep up the public pressure. As more people are exposed to what the unions are really fighting for (power), and what they are all about, thier support will continue to erode, and quickly. I also support the socialists/communists/marxists that have to get thier facetime on camera at each event. Not only does it destroy the public perception of unions, but it further exposes the bias of the Lamestream media.

      When state rulings start to go against the unions, you will see violence start breaking out in these protest groups….. and the American people as a whole will have no tolerance for such actions. The thuggery will be on public display for all the world to see.

      I am a teacher in Ohio (don’t judge me yet), who actually disagrees with my union. I DO understand how broke our state is. Which is why I am actually willing to make sacrifices in order to help our current economic situation. I for one will not stand with the teacher’s union. Unfortunately, as broke as our country is, more cuts are going to HAVE to be made. As a result, like Beck predicted, protests will continue to develop. Sad…I have even been thinking about getting out of teaching (which I have a great passion for).

      KAEN, you still haven’t thought this through. I‘m familiar with Jefferson’s writings, but this situation is not a parallel. The Progressives have spent years putting a structure together behind the scenes. They want the chaos so they can bring in the “savior” to rescue us.

      My son is a Marine and while you can bet that some soldiers will not fire upon their own people, you obviously aren’t aware of the preparations that have gone on for years in preparation for the possibility that there will be “crazy” groups that will cause chaos and instability in the country and will need to be herded up. There have been documented compounds that are located all over the country for just such a time. Did you forget that the Tea Party has been called a group of crazies even though there is not one iota of evidence for that moniker?

      If we react with anger and violence, we will be playing right into their plan. DON’T DO IT!

      @Granny…I served 8 years in the Army. I’ve led soldiers in combat. I Spent 16 years as a federal Law Enforcement Officer enforcing the laws of the country until a crippling injury during an arrest forced medical retirement. I took an oath for BOTH of those positions…a solem oath to defend and uphold the Constitution of the United States against ALL enemies foriegn and DOMESTIC. Unlike many…I do not fear the domestic enemy. In fact, the Domestic enemies of this country are more dangerous than any external enemy. I would sooner die fighting the socialist/marxist pigs and for the country than see my sons inherit the country that we are heading to if these pigs are allowed to continue with their agenda. I don’t think for one second that the pigs have the backbone to stand up against real Americans and our will to be free. They are cowards and fools, the only thing they have going for them is knowing with a great degree of certainty that they can continue to push their agenda because a large majority of Americans have retired their spine. I am not one of those people. Do I want violence? NO! But, make no mistake…I will gladly engage in it if that is what is needed to provide a free country for my children, your children, and everyone elses children.

      At some point, the good people of this country have to stand up and say enough. It ends here and it ends now. Failure to do so only strengthens their position and ultimate victory.
