Sen. Inhofe Deftly Handles Attempted Ambush by Fake Politico Reporter

The attached video should serve as a Master Class for elected officials who will inevitably be confronted by people with opposing opinions.
Last Tuesday, Oklahoma Senator Jim Inhofe was approached by a gentleman claiming to be from Politico and wanting to ask some questions about the topic of Global Warming and Climate Change. It should be noted here that the man doing the ambushing is Mark Hertsgaard, an activist/writer who does not work for or represent Politico.
The Senator is cordial, even when it is obvious that an agenda is present. Delivering facts and stating the generally accepted reality about the topic of global warming and climate change, Inhofe is a fine example of how an elected office should act when confronted. Even when faced with the shameless use of young people as human shields in the logic war, Inhofe scores with a fact-filled bullseye.
Perhaps more disturbing is how Mr. Hertsgaard took the raw, unedited interview seen above, cut it, changed the sequence and delivered it to meet his predetermined needs. A few facts about the manipulated story;
What was a 5:00 interview has been cut down to just over one minute.
Mr. Hertsgaard removed his lie about representing Politico.
Senator Inhofe‘s answer to the young woman’s question has been completely removed.
Hertsgaard’s internet-posted story also includes the questionable use of a trademarked slogan from Fox News, “We Report, You Decide.”
Additionally, we have learned that Politico has asked Mark Hertsgaard to stop identifying himself as their representative. A recent email from one Politico editor to the DailyCaller stated;
“Mr. Hertsgaard is not a POLITICO reporter or employee and we have asked him not to portray himself as one”
Mr. Hertsgaard’s confusion concerning his employment raises a valid question from anyone coming in contact with him, “If you are lying to people about where you work, how are we to believe anything else that comes out of your mouth?”

Fox news broadcast this video and Hannity et al presented her as a racist even though it was clear from the unedited video she was exactly the opposite and had tried to help the farmer.

Fact it cost a lot more to heat our homes than to cool them, Fact, nothing grows including oxygen producing plants in cold weather. now that is obviously misleading, i converted to wood heat and harvest my own wood. my wife and i chose this life style for multiple reasons. yard/neighborhood cleanup; a non taxed resource (so far); exercise; and i was not about to pay three thousand dollars to heat my house with oil again.
These people intentionally muddle the effect “Climate Change” and the cause…natural fluctuation or humans. Actually if the globe warmed up there would be a net gain for the human race. The tundra on both continents is extremely fertile.
CONSERVATION is a conservative action. We are stewards of the earth; GOD said so. The government and it’s sycophants are not rooted with a moral foundation (not that I can see anyway)

I was recently confronted by someone not unlike “Cameron” (good call btw), but there was no camera crew. I had simply dropped a joke about “Gore not inventing the internet, he invented Global Warming” … and the attack came. I told him I’m one of over 30,000 Ph.D. scientists who has signed the petition denouncing man-made climate change. It did not matter. He just kept making his assertions over and over. It’s disgusting.
Add to this the relationship between Al. Gore’s family and Armand Hammer … and you start to see that green is the new red.

In all seriousness, climate change has been something to be recoginzed since the earth’s crust first cooled. It has always been a force, and will always be a force. The recent winter should tell anyone (doing their own thinking) that Global Warning is as phony as Al Gore’s fidelity. St Helen’s put out more polution in 30 minutes, that went around the world, than the combustion engine since it’s beginning!!!! The idea that man can influence climate change in any way is both ludicrus and arrogant.

The point is that we as human could go back to dark ages and you could nothing about global warming or cooling. It is a political hoax by these people and they know it. It is arrogant and idiotic to thing that humans play such a major role on the event of this earth. We pollute yes, but a single major chains of volcanic eruptions could dwarf the amount of toxic substance into our atmosphere than the sum total ever generated by the human race. You don’t think it can happen? Think again. In the middle ages temperatures were way higher than we have now. We have very well established science for this. Well I guess all those SUVs back then were causing that global warming right? There are theories about solar flares and orbital position of the earth to account for all of this but no one knows. The point to take away is that scientist have spent time trying to explain why the earth climate changes long before this so-called global warming scam.
When the Left prepared their hokey stick graph they omitted all their data on the middle ages. When confronted with this fact, the Left does what they always do and say: “You are and ignorant, homophobe, racists that want to kill little kids” They never attempt to defend their facts because they can’t and it is true. But wait there is more. It has been shown the algorithm they create for the hokey stick graph would generate the same pattern regardless what data you fed it. They cannot defend that either.
In a somewhat unrelated story the Left is responsible for the following–In Africa they stopped the use of DDT claiming that it would poison the earth. Here again the science was sketchy but they succeeded. Now we have huge number of little kids and adults dying the number range in the tens of millions. Don’t quote me but I believe is 40 million a year. Where is the outrage on this
This is just a real conspiracy by the Left to achieve their goals faster. Everyone knows this is a lie and no one is buying this bull any more. Remember the Chicago Climate Ex fiasco that Glenn exposed and that they sold off to some European interest when it go to hot to handle over here? He didn’t play into the guilt trip and other tricks they tried to pull. They conducted themselves with a measure of pressing grace too. However, because the Sen. was cool, confident, and knowledgable about the facts, history, and uncertainies they were never given a reasonable cause for get in your face questions although they attempted to do just that. I enjoyed this video!

what these green people fail to understand , is that there is not enough evidence for mans role in this situation to merit an entire revising of the worlds infrastructure,
and questioning the science is not tantamount to conspiracy theories…….
i agree we need to start as soon as possible on curving whatever our contribution to the climate change is,
but i don’t see the rest of the emerging world trying to match our green efforts
on contrary, the actions these people want us to take would put us at a severe industrial disadvantage to those countries
so, the economic factor vastly outweighs the conceived negative consequences of non or little action

Just look and see who has got in on the ground level of the Chicago Climate Exchange market and see just how well those names match to the people we see on TV and read in articles pushing the “save the planet and the polar bear” bull crap. It is pseudo-science at it‘s best and just plain intentional deception at it’s worst. How many times do we have to hear, mini ice age, global warming, mini ice age throughout history before we realize these people are full of more hot air than our atmosphere ever will be !!!! Most of scientist that help manufacture and “interpret” the data have conflict of interests either in the area of finances (funding) or ideologically/politically. I think that has been rather well established given the freak show that is the UN and climate gate.

Even though I do not agree in any way with those who were asking the questions they have a right to information and Senator Inhofe is a great example of how our public officials should conduct themselves.
People like Charlie Rangal and Barbara (worked so fricken hard) Boxer could learn a few things from Senator Inhofe about being dignified when being approached by reporters trying to report to the public political news and information. There is value even in these ambush interviews as sometimes it shows the character or lack thereof of those we send to Washington to represent us.

The earth worshipers are out of their minds, not to mention factually incorrect. 100% of the earth’s heat comes from the sun, which is one million times the size of the earth and only 8 light minutes away, and they‘re worried about SUV’s and bovine flatulence. It would be laughable if they didn’t have any influence on politics.
It’s funny that the tree huggers are concerned about CO2 emissions, which trees need to survive… More CO2 means more vegetative growth. Ask any dope grower with a CO2 system, which is also funny because most dope growers are liberals (read: hypocrites, kinda like the vegetarians I know with leather seats in their cars).

Stanford University has proven that when climate actually changes the temperature changes first and then the C02 follows suit which means temperature is in no way driven by Carbon Dioxide levels. also if you are interested in the history of climate and C02 look up the Late Ordovician period of the earth it was a global ice age and it had C02 levels that were about 5600 parts per million, now compare that to our current levels which is about 389 parts per million obviously that goes against everything that we “know” about climate change.
now im not saying the climate hasn’t changed, its just not man made. The reason why up until this year we have seen hotter temperatures is due to the sun yep thats right the sun. for millions of years the sun has been going through cycles of hot and cold driven by sunspots. in the 21st century the period of these cycles have been roughly 11 years hot, then 11 years cold. more recently the cycles have gotten longer increasing by an additional 11 years for the last 22 years we have seen a slight but definite increase in our global temp which means we are on the verge of changing cycles to our cold cycle.
my prediction: it gets slightly colder for about 20 years
if you want to research this topics to look up: late Ordovician period, sunspots, Stanford university study (look for climate change graph)
