The Senate Budget GOP has released a video that exposes a budget trick commonly used by the same members of the government who call for more investment in “education, innovation, clean energy and infrastructure.”
“Non-defense discretionary spending has surged 24 percent in just the first two years of the Obama Administration,” explains Tina Korbe of Hotair.
In fact, according to the Heritage Foundation, Federal spending per household has increased exponentially over the course of 45 years:

Despite these numbers, the current administration runs unprecedented deficits and the debt continues to grow which, of course, slows economic growth and costs jobs; the exact opposite of what some big spenders say they want.
Korbe ends on this strong note:
Fine if [Democrats] want to argue for cutting defense spending, fine if they want to mitigate the appearance of the problem by looking at spending as a percentage of GDP (that is, after all, the traditional way to look at it), but to back up calls for more spending with the claim that we’re just not spending enough? To borrow a word from CEO Chairman Eric Schmidt, “ludicrous.”

Posted on September 27, 2011 at 5:01amThe Obama administration is nothing but smoke and mirrors. Everything they do and say is a complete falsehood. Accounting tricks, false promises, and outright lies rule the day. Michelle Obama can’t even grow a real garden, the plants were transplanted there. The whole thing is nothing but a hoax and Obama wonders why people who actually believed in him back in 2008 are now scratching their heads. Obama is no better than Bernie Maddoff.
