Sex Sells: Liberal Group Uses Naked College Kids to Get Out the Vote

The liberal group Campus Progress is appealing to college students and their hormones in order to get out the vote this November. A new video features college-aged kids bearing almost all to praise health care reform. Here’s a taste, then an explanation:
Now, from Politco:
“Back off my Coverage!” features college students bemoaning their lack of health care coverage while hiding their naked bodies behind various signs.
“For decades we were left wondering if we’d ever get covered,” says one student (Covered, get it…?).
Once they make note of the Obama administration’s health care reform, all of the naked students get covered…with clothes.
“There are some who want to repeal health care reform. … What they’re really trying to do is take away our coverage. We won’t let them.”
So who else is the group using to get out the vote? Let’s name our next low-budget film star “Chuck”:
I can’t help but think that Jim Hoft over at Gateway Pundit takes a sarcastic tone when commenting, “They’re hoping this will help them get out the vote.”
Now, here’s “Chuck” and his friends in all their pantsless pundit glory:

Posted on October 7, 2010 at 7:47pmYes, they’d be covered also…it‘s an endless spiral of coverage you won’t be able to afford so you will be forced onto the “public option” the true intent of ObamaCare…Socialized medicine…as a military vet and now spouse I have SEEN first hand the socialization of medicine and I’d rather not see it spread…here are a few examples we’ll all be seeing soon and very soon thanks to ObamaCare…while stationed overseas…there were 400 families assigned to one base in Korea, the avg family there had 3.1 children…military families tend to be large…guess how many peditricians they had for that entire base….1 ONE..just ONE…talk about a long wait for an appt. Had a friends 18mnth old little girl fall and break her arm on a Thursday…before holiday weekend which in government terms means a 4 day weekend…that little girl didn’t see a doctor to have her arm put in a cast until TUESDAY of the following week! My own experience…I recently had an injury to my foot and got an appt to see the doc…on Thursday she scheduled me for an X-ray the next day..OK..not so bad..They X-rayed my foot and then said someone would call me…they never did and I called and was told I needed to schedule an appt to get the results of my X-ray as my doctor had taken leave and there was no other doctor available at the time to take my case…my appt was set for TWO weeks after the X-ray was taken…wow!Hope it isn’t fractured afterall but it hurts like the devil…WELCOME to SOCIALIZED medicine people!

Posted on October 7, 2010 at 12:23pmYou know it all began with disposable diapers. When I was a child, my mother used the cloth diapers and they were so uncomfortable, I was trained before the age of 1. So she tells me. When I became a parent, the disposable diaper was the preferred choice in infant maintainence. The difference? Disposable diapers were so comfortable that training couldn’t take place until the child was nearly 2. After that, what next? Disposable underware for the ‘just in case’ situation. Thereby extending their comfort zone. Benefits? The diaper manufacturer gets an additional two years sales.
Now that the federal government is going to extract additional tax dollars from the working parents to pay for the ‘covered students/young adults’, there is little incentive to get a degree, get a job and get their own ‘coverage.’ The fed continues to put the pressure on the parents to extend their responsiblities to the age of 25. Benefits? The fed gets more stuff to budget and a marketing tool for additional tax money. Career politicians are the only genre that measures their success by how much money they can extract from the citizenry and how much they can grow the government. Sad really.

Posted on October 7, 2010 at 12:22pmTo cover college student health care, the schools should offer group health insurance. The cost can be included as part of the tuition or as an add on.
Report Post »stephstaheli
Posted on October 7, 2010 at 3:38pmActually a lot of universities already offer that. They also have university clinics that only students are allowed to use and the costs are a lot cheaper than going to a regular clinic.

They don’t realize what it is actually costing them. I am a little older so it will actually cost them more than it will me. They should be more opposed to healthcare than I am. My God, I have been working since 16, when I thankfully was taken care of by a grandfather who taught me to work – and I both loved him for it, along with what he taught me in doing it.

Posted on October 7, 2010 at 2:02pmBefore we bash these kids too much, let’s remember they have been indoctrinated in the progressive mindset since they started school. They don’t know any better than to EXPECT everything to be HANDED TO THEM without earning it. About all they have learned is nobody fails; mediocrity is rewarded with awards, discipline is for OTHER people. They don’t realize they are being “played” by the loony liberal left, which will stop at nothing to get their message out!!! It’s up to the right to try and set them straight and wake them up to the progressive agenda.

Posted on October 7, 2010 at 1:10pmSorry, but my taxes shouldn’t go to your insurance so that you can drive a car instead of taking the bus…so that you work 40 hours a week, instead of the 70 hours I work for my nice things…so that you get your own bedroom, instead of sharing a room…so that you shop for nice cloths, instead of going to the discount and second-hand store…so that you can have your hair done at the salon, instead of doing it yourself or going without fancy styles…so that you can pay a mortgage to own a home, instead of renting an affordable place less fancy…so that you can eat out at restaurants, instead of being frugal at the grocery store on a budget…so that you can buy a big-screen tv, cable and broadband, instead of a small tv with an antenna…so that your significant other gets to stay home, while mine works two jobs to help pay for the kids dance classes, and the SUV to get them there safely.
You get the picture. The Socialist Democracy steals from those that earn it, to give to those that want what I have what’s mine — all the time claiming that us so-called wealthy have more than we need. Envy is one of the “deadly sins”, and if you truly understand what it envy is, you will understand.
