‘Shame on You’: Democrats Blame ‘Evil’ Republicans & the NRA for Fast and Furious Fallout

You would think a party that just had one of their landmark pieces of legislation validated by an unfriendly court would be more happy today. However, Congressional Democrats apparently see the historical vote to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt as a far more dangerous problem, and have spent all day blaming practically everyone they can think of for politicizing this issue and victimizing Holder, rather than doing any soul searching whatsoever.
And no matter how thoroughly unsurprising that may be, the reactions they’ve put out have still been priceless. Start with this gem from Eleanor Holmes Norton of DC, who (somehow) manages to blame not the Justice Department, but the NRA, for the death of Border Patrol agent Brian Terry:
Any doubt that today’s contempt resolution is political was put to rest when the NRA joined in to blow-torch vulnerable Democrats to vote for contempt today,” Norton said on the House floor. “The gun lobby is directly responsible for the gap in federal law that allowed purchases of guns here that were sold in Mexico and ultimately for the tragic death of a border agent. Yet our committee spent no time on the root cause of the tragedy because of a political mandate from the gun lobby.”

Norton has made no move to substantiate this claim. Nevertheless, it is reflective of a wider effort by the Democratic leadership to portray today’s vote as a historically partisan, vicious and baseless attack on a selfless public servant, that public servant being Eric Holder. Rep. Steny Hoyer (D-MD), for instance, led his colleagues in a chant of “shame on you” on MSNBC:
And then, apparently in the same segment, Rep. James Clyburn (D-SC), claimed that “there’s something evil about using the procedures of the House…to further political aims.” Watch this below:
Please note: Not one of the people quoted appears to care at all whether Holder did anything wrong. As far as they’re concerned, he is blameless and this is an entirely partisan project, never mind that most of the evidence isn‘t available precisely because the Justice Department won’t release it.

Then why did the ATF restrict gun sales in Texas, NM and AZ to one gun per buyer after they allowed hundreds per person if they would go to the Drug Cartels in Mexico. Even Border Enforcement was part of the plan since FBI had them look the other way when certain vehicles went South at specific check points.
And some of those Gun Shop Owners have filed suit to have it over turned. Another possible Supreme Court fight, but this time they might not win.

Of course you did or maybe you didn‘t and can’t quite get it through your pea brain what that actually means. They were telling gun dealers who called to report straw buyers to sell them the guns in hopes that they would catch cartel members committing attrocities with them, then they were going to blame said gun dealers even though they were directed by ATF to sell the guns in the first place. Problem was someone in ATF wasn’t stupid enough to just toe the line and let things go and it came out that the guns were allowed to walk without any means whatsoever of tracking them. If that wasn’t stupid enough Holder and company have been lying about when they found out about the crap for a year and a half, when there is a press conference on you tube from 2009 that shows that they all knew about the damn thing and even told everyone that they were starting a new program based on the program Wide Reciever. Their constituancy consists of the District of Columbia and the MD counties that surround it. Did anyone check the crime statistics for these areas? I altered my route and stopped at the gun store, bought another 1000 rounds of ammo for my hand gun, bought an AR-15 and 2000 rounds, and another 500 rounds of shotgun shells. I went to the range and relieved some of my anger by firing about 400 rounds. After hearing about this crap yesterday, I think I will go back today and buy some more ammo. At least the Dems are keeping the firearms and ammo factories busy.

State Representative Damron, Congressman Chandler, and Governor Besheer are just some of our Kentucky Democrats who support gun owners and the NRA. Also, anyone who defends Holder before actually finding out if this is a worse cover-up than Watergate is welcome to resign and let a normal non-fascist human being take their place. At least one Federal Agent and over two hundred Mexicans are dead, possibly because of Holder’s actions. Even if the level of cover-up only mirrors Watergate, this is a serious international incident against one of our two immediate neighbors. Mexico would have every right to regard this as an Act of War if the Congress or the DC prosecutor fail to fully investigate the AG’s involvement in the gun-running, the shootings, and the cover-up.
