Allen West is simply awesome. If you are reading this and have not already seen him speak just do a search on YouTube and you will agree. This man would make an awesome President. Many people will be highly influenced by him in the coming years…if they have their ears on and their eyes wide open…which, sadly, may not happen in the black communities. But I hope they do.

As Bill Cosby once said (only to be castigated and denigrated by the Rev Team) until black people stop living in the past and blaming someone else, mainly white people, for all their problems, the lot of black people will not improve.
The second thing that riles me is that the Rev Team makes these types of statements all the time and the MSM gives them a pass, but if a non-mainstream Dem makes one, it is 30 point type headlines in all the MSM papers and Mathews, Schultz, Olbermann, the DOJ and The View ladies are red in the face with screams of racism.

You’ll notice Sharpton is already jonesing for a “post-Obama America”?

Read these words of Booker T. Washington carefully.
“There is a class of colored people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs and the hardships of the ***** race before the public. Having learned that they are able to make a living out of their troubles, they have grown into the settled habit of advertising their wrongs — partly because they want sympathy and partly because it pays. Some of these people do not want the ***** to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs.”

    That’s Sharpton to a “T”

AMEN-! This quote you left needs to be read by all — first by the blacks that complains about racism but yet are one of the main perpetuators of it — and secondly to the white people that need to understand not every black person subscribes to or is fooled by troublemakers like this- His brand of “religion” holds many blacks back far worse than anyone else by corrupting their thinkiing. If only we had wise men like Booker T. Washington in place of cancers like sharpton – we sorely need more people of mr. Washingtons wisdom insight and character, color is not whats important, content of character is—

bqi: About the only time I hear racism mentioned is when it comes from someone like Al Sharpton or Jessie Jackson. I don’t think those two men are comfortable in their own skin.
America just woke up and we’re rubbing the sleep from our eyes and wondering what the heck happened to our country and we are doing something about it. Now Al sees this and he‘s beginning to listen to us and he’s getting worried because all those freebies he‘s been enjoying look like they might be going the way of the dinosaur and he’s wondering what he‘s going to do now because he won’t be able to pull the wool down over our eyes again. He might have to actually work for a living and struggle just like the rest of us…gee, wouldn’t that be a novel idea!
Several years ago my mother-in-law gave me the black shroud that her ancestors wore to the funerals of their dead during the Civil War. Occasionally I get it out and look at it. It reminds me of how the North fought and spilled their blood to give the blacks their freedom. I sometimes wonder, if they could see this black race that they fought and died to free now, what would they think about them.
Al, if all you have to look up to is Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X, then you need to get some more heros. Quit living in the past and come on up to the future…from where I’m sitting, it looks pretty bright. Professor/Dr. Glenn Beck has enlightened us now and done a pretty thorough job of it, and we all came out into the bright sunlight, and it feels pretty good. And we aren’t going back into the complacency and compliance that we have sunk to for far too long. No sir; we are on a roll, and we have rolled up our sleeves and are ready for the bumpy ride ahead, because we have a lot of house cleaning to do.

Divisiveness is Sharpton’s stock in trade. It’s his lifeblood. The MSM gives him voice where he should be ridiculed.
With the stress Americans are under in these times, it is criminal for Sharpton to ramp up the hate. The United States is a powder keg likely to see the violence that is erupting in Europe, and Sharpton is playing with matches.
There are so many African Americans whose wisdom is worthy of being celebrated in the media but can’t even get a sound bite in edgewise.
Once again, we are being betrayed by the 4th Estate, rather that being protected, as it their duty.
The Black Quill and Ink deserves high praise.

He is allowed to say this kind of thing because he has positioned himself as one of the spokemen for black Americans. Also because in the past, he has stirred up so much hatred that people have actually died (1995 -Freddie’s Fashion Mart, 7 murder victims, 1 perpetrator).

Now, put this into proper perspective: Obama is out preaching that Americans are being led to the fields in the shackles of Republican fear mongering. Yet, the good reverend is out instilling, fear . . . lots of it.

It would be funny if not so dangerous, these performances of contradictions and irony the good reverend has put on over the years. But there’s an insanity wrapped up in all of it though, in the reverend. His involvement, it’s like when you run out of things to do yet you keep fussing and fixing as if the work is never done . . . But maybe it’s more, because it’s also like turning off your television at night to go to bed, but oddly, like Alice in Wonderland, strange dreams, cheap whiskey, it follows you around in the dark hallways of your house to join you, to brush your teeth and check the doors; and then as you lay in bed to relax your mind, to fall asleep, it turns itself back on and keeps you up all night, like a nightmare, where you’re sleeping, but not . . . ; it’s strange . . . very strange this Reverend Al . . . And then, you wake up and realize, you left the television on; that it’s just an old rerun of The Morton Downey Jr. Show . . . Reverend Al, signature gold medallion, running off at the mouth, long past his work being done . . . And where the hell is the remote . . . ?

      Just pull the plug.
