On Tuesday, Al Sharpton met with the FCC to discuss regulating Rush “Limbar” Limbaugh and his “racist” remarks. On Thursday, he claimed some FCC commissioners are actually entertaining the idea of holding public hearings that would force Limbaugh to defend his commentary.
Sharpton went on “The Ed Show” Thursday night and explained his meeting to host Ed Schultz:

Posted on December 17, 2010 at 9:27amI cannot believe this guy. Is he serious or what? I don’t believe the FCC even has the authority to “make” somebody “testify” before them but if they do, they better be ready for all hell to rain down on them because it will happen. You want to talk about nasty stuff on the air start with the left and those on late nite TV, too.

Posted on December 17, 2010 at 9:26amLOL Is Al Sharpton really this stupid?!?
He doesn‘t realize the can of worms he’s about to open!
Does he REALLY think that those who think this through will want to put Rush on display–on the defense?!? How many countless others will they then have to “put on the stand” to defend various “offensive” things they’ve said over the years?!?
And does he really think this will scare Rush Limbaugh?!? LOL Oh yeah, I’m sure Rush is just shaking in his boots over this!
I agree with others who have said, “Oh yes, Sharpton, bring it on and you shall be next.”
Again I ask- – - is he really this stupid?!?
Amazing. Perhaps he’s related to the “Guam-might-tip-over” guy ;-) ).

Posted on December 17, 2010 at 9:39amBig Al is banking on his base to be the stupid ones. At some point, America will have to admit that skin color and who you sleep with carries no weight. Until then, hands will be outstretched to their nanny to get some of their neighbor’s stolen money.

Posted on December 17, 2010 at 4:30pmHey! They should be called Reverend Sharpton and Reverend Jackson! Don’t you have respect for men of the cloth? Just because one has an adulterine child and the other is a busy body in other people’s business doesn’t mean you can deny them their dues. These men are looking out for our spiritual well being, so cut them some slack as they carry on their valuable work of pastoring the flock……on second thought….just call them Al and Jes.

Posted on December 17, 2010 at 9:26amI would actually love to see this happen because Rush would reveal and capture for everyone to see how shallow and moronic these people are….uh oh…I am such a racist. Why did I us the phrase “these people”. What did I mean by that? What a racist I am. These people are clowns…awww there I go again. Seriously though, it is amazing at how they can take Rush out of context. The best example was the Barack the Magic ***** scandal. They accused Rush of being a racist for saying such a thing. HE DID
Report Post »NOT COME UP WITH THAT. He was reporting a L.A. Times article in which the author called Barak the “magic *****”. Sure, Rush kicked it up a notch by having a jingle made to the melody of “Puff the Magic Dragon”, but that is what Rush does. He is a social commentator. I don’t agree with everything he says, but I agree with a lot and if people would actually listen to Rush and not the out-of-context sound bites that PMSNBC puts together, they would really see what self-serving, manipulative crooks these people really are.

those ‘media watchdog’ groups are really just professional OUT OF CONTEXTORS….i know that’s not a real word or profession label…but it is a real practice that is in serious pursuit of destroying our country.

Posted on December 17, 2010 at 9:24amThey are going to far. If they try this Net Nutrality Nonsense, it is time to begin closing this federal government down. We can start with the FCC and continue onward with the dept of energy, education, etc. It is up to the states to regain control over the feds, if they cannot, or will not, do this, then it is up to the citizens. One way is to stop paying taxes, heck, the amendment wasn’t ratified by the proper number of states anyway.

Posted on December 17, 2010 at 9:35amThat’s exactly right. All it would take is for a petition from most of us here on The Blaze, and the FCC would be making Sharpton defend his racist remarks on our public airwaves.
