Although alot of the so called “Black Farmers”, (when all they had to do, was pot a plant to qualify as a farmer) in the Pigford scandal, made out pretty good, getting $50,000 or more each, of the taxpayers money. But it didn’t reach the entire black population. Billions have been paid out, so maybe they can get in on the next round which last I heard was working its way through congress a few months ago. The Wisconsin counter-protest events in March and April. The DC events leading up to and held during the 2011 Continuing Resolution debates in April, and on the Tax protests on April 15th in DC and Philly.

This may sound ironic, I live in a Hud subsidised housing at this time, most of those around me are seniors who are retired and still work part time or volunteer at hospitals and children centers. I have been a tree farmer, landscaper and chaplain for a time too, until getting caught under a crop duster burned out a good part of my breathing and nerve system.
I still do what I am able to in the community via volunteer work; I feel I owe it back to the people in the area. Also, many of the ‘benefits’ I would qualify for I refuse to take, as I can still pay for part of my own way.
Yes, I do have folks here sometimes bragging about not working a day in their lives; and honestly I do pity them not understanding the feeling of worth from making something of themselves.

I came across one and there was this young big black guy who was trying to shovel while holding his pants up at the same time. But, you know , thay have done something that blacks have never done. The Mex’s start businesses and work on farms and nurseries. Plus, their kids are supported in school by parents. How do I know that? My youngest daughter teaches at a school that is probably half Mexican. She sees a huge difference in the support Latino kids get from their parents vs the lack of support the black kids get.
How long have blacks been here? They have not done anything approaching what Mexicans have accomplished in just a few years. Oh, I forgot, whites hate Latinos, too. Wonder how the Mex‘s were able to do what they’ve done with the evil whites working against them.
