Sheila Jackson Lee Will ‘Read Entire Debt Bill’ to Determine ‘If There is Justice for All’

They say that in a true compromise, neither party really walks away happy, and that much may certainly be true with Democrats and Republicans as they prepare to vote on a compromise plan to raise the nation’s debt ceiling. And although the last minute compromise was agreed to by President Obama, members of his own party are voicing their disapproval.
In fact, Congressional Black Caucus Chairman Emanuel Cleaver even went so far as to call the debt deal a “sugar coated Satan sandwich.” In tow is the ever-vocal Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, who says she and fellow Democrats will “read the entire” bill to determine whether it provides “justice for all, or justice for a few.”
Jackson Lee, who is worried about the bill’s entitlement cuts, said her job as a Democrat is to nurture her “values” — values she alleges help people who are dependent on entitlements and are “hurting out there.”
The Congresswoman said Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security “aren’t ugly words,“ but are rather ”attractive meals to put in front of people.”
To boot, Jackson Lee vowed to read the entire compromise plan before voting, stating “I’m going to say it publicly on national television: we’re going to read this document, this unknown entity, and we’re going to understand it before we vote for it.”
Regarding Obama’s promise that there will not be substantial cuts made to entitlement programs, Jackson Lee said she believes the president and “knows his heart.”
“I recognize that we’re eating some sandwiches we don’t like, but I believe his support is for these basic necessities for the American people,” Lee told Fox News. “I’m not happy right now, but I’m going to be an unhappy warrior and be a part of the solution if I can.”

I am so tired because at age 54 I went back into AC working in attics in Florida that are about 130 degrees at this time of year. I ran into a Walmart today to get some graph paper, and I got really pissed off when the three people in front of me at the check out all used SNAP cards. Welfare monies. One was purchasing a 42″ flatscreen, another had a new surround system for her “existing flat screen system, another has a cart full of 4 cases of soda, tons of snack food, and actually very litt real food. I have no flat screen. I don’t buy cases of soda and snacks, I am still using a VCR, my husband had a major heart attack at age 52. He cannot work. My children and grandchildren are living with me because they have both been laid off. No one collects unemployment or disability. I’m supporting 7 people. Maybe if some of the Black Causus and their constituants would play and live by this song, we would not be paying out so many monies for loosers.

Equality for all meant standing in line for hours to getting a single small roll of paper better suited for wrapping meat, if they had it, than cleaning yourself after having a bowel movement.
Back then it meant relying on the United States to produce enough grain that we would ship a majority of it to them so people of the USSR wouldn’t starve. 25 years ago, the US still produced goods that the rest of the world wanted and couldn’t get enough of the goods manufactured in the US. Now we ship logs to China so they can manufacture the paper we take for granted and use every day, and we have to pay them debt service for buying our worthless debts.
