Shock Graphics Show Severity of Proposed Obama Budget Cuts

We are still five days away from the unveiling of the President’s 2012 Budget, yet the number-crunching and long-term analysis are in full swing. Senator Rand Paul has been making the rounds this week, touting his proposal to slice $500 billion dollars from the budget while White House Budget Director Jack Lew penned a piece for the New York Times that let us all know the President made some “tough choices” when cutting an estimated $775 million from the 3.8 TRILLION dollar budget. (By the way, $1.5 Trillion of that is CBO estimated deficit spending, or money we will have to borrow from someone.) Of course there are some savings to be had if the five year spending freeze is accomplished, estimates say $400 Billion over 10 years.
The 3.8 Trillion dollar number is staggering enough, but looms even larger when you consider it against the President’s proposed $775 million dollars in tough choice cuts. Doug Ross (a real person and not George Clooney’s “ER” character) posted these charts to help us understand.

She has caused a bloc of the left wing crazies to defy any effort to establish a successful campaign for her. I would also fear for her safety and that of her family members if she were to run or get elected. There are a lot of left wing crazies out there wishing violence to the Palins.
We need someone to rally around who will unite the conservatives into a force the liberal progressives will not be able to defeat!

Report Post »Don’t you see that is their whole plan of action, whoever looks like they may be a good organizer, effective communicater and great thinker, they will harass and demonize and make fun of GOP who support them, until the party leaders won’t go near them. Unfortunately there are some trojan horses in the GOP who are right in there helping the Progressives.
How can we expect our elected representatives to stand firm despite all when we don’t. If it was there party they could have their own way. (Or to quote an old winner, let’s make them sing “It’s My Party & I’ll Cry If I Wantta, Because the Country‘s Not Commin’ Back 2 Me!”)

Recall how just prior to John McCain taking the lead in the 2008 Republican primary, it seemed to be anyone’s game, but then the NYTimes came out with a rousing endorsement for McCain and next thing we all knew, one of the most liberal of the Republican candidates was our nominee.
Once McCain was confirmed as the Republican nominee, recall too how less than a week later the NYTimes then came out with a front page hit piece based on no evidence whatsoever that McCain had been having an affair with some pretty lobbyist. No one believed it and even the slimy, greaseballs at the NYT had to admit in print that it was an old story they’d been sitting on for a year, and that it was only based on unconfirmed rumors.
None of that strikes me as remarkable – except the part where the independents ‘bought it’ and rocketed McCain from also-ran into the nomination – based primarily on the MSM’s support for him…
So yes, the MSM can still be very influential for destroying this country by shilling in jack-booted lockstep for the liberal’s Progressive agenda. Palin could find a cure for AIDS, cancer, war, and so-called global warming… and provide free booze to all Democrats (including Pelosi) and all the MSM journalists for life… but they still wouldn’t say anything nice about her unless she also promised to fund late-term abortions, promote redistribution of wealth’, and converted to Islam.

Officials in Washington DC will NEVER do what needs to be done, because we can’t send enough Rand Pauls, Michelle Bachmans and Sarah Palins to DC to make a difference. There’s just way too much money available for corrruption. That’s why we must go back to the original model ouf the founding fathers in which the individual states retained most of the power and the Feds were only allowed severely limited powers.
Once the states take back their power, there will be a competiton of ideas between states, for which the best ideas will make certain states more successful than others. Forget ever solving the Federal deficit problem through Congress or the white house.

I have moved away from the “do they know or not know” train of thought. IMO the govt knows all of these things and either doesnt care or is doing it deliberately, I will not accept they dont know/ “not aware of it” excuse.
Stop with all the social programs, foreign aid etc we are broke. The USA is already bankrupt. What do you think a deficit is? A credit line of funds available to buy some more jets, or build a high speed train no one wants? I am curious what exactly is their plan when certain countries stop buying our debt, or the Fed stops laundering… monetizing the debt?
Ready… what an odd coincidence the gov’t has been acquiring land, land rich in natural resources! Now what do you think they plan on doing with this land……………………… These loons talk about 100′s of millions, billions and trillions like its no big deal. You know its not their money thats why!

The Chinese are actively buying US businesses, land, and resources in the US so that they can start putting Made in USA on their products migrate their people and eventually take over to enslave the American people! If you go back two years, and take a long look at ALL they’ve done you will see that this is the systematic dismantleing of the Republic: economically, culturally and morally. Nobody is that stupid. I’m so impressed by this sacrifice that I have decided to do the same thing with my personal budget.
I spend about $2000 a month on groceries, medicine, bills, etc, but it’s time to get out the budget cutting ax, go line by line through my expenses, and go to work.
So, I’m going to cut my spending at exactly the same ratio -1/35,000 of my total budget.
After doing the math, it looks like instead of spending $2000 a month, I’m going to have to cut that number by six cents!
Yes, I’m going to have to get by with $1999.94, but that’s what sacrifice is all about.
I’ll just have to do without some things, that are, frankly, what ever luxury 6 cents will buy.

Posted on February 10, 2011 at 1:15pmhmm…lets see…400 Billion over 10 years…40 Billion a year…if the spending freeze is held too..so his one year deficit is 1.5 Trillion…he is cutting 40 Billion 775 million out of that…so he is still deficit spending 1.459225 Trillion….WOW….what a cut….
now if we go with Rand Paul….which is the benchmark…I think we can get more out of the budget than that….even Glenn was able to cut 450 Billion in just 1 week of review of the budget….so Rand is right on with 500 Billion….couple the 500 Billion in cuts with a roll back to 2006 levels of spending.. and WOW….no deficit MA!!…in fact we get about a 300 Billion surplus that could be required by law to pay down the debt…which means over a 10 year period we would cut our National Deficit from 14.3 Trillion down to 11.3 Trillion….
