Olbermann Urges Boycott of ‘Tea Party Zombies Must Die’ Video Game

In a fairly surprising display of objectivity, Countdown host Keith Olbermann included the folks at StarvingEyes Advergaming — creators of an online game video game titled “Tea Party Zombies Must Die” — in his “Worst Persons” segment. Olbermann even urged viewers to boycott StarvingEyes until they “pull the plug” on the violent game.
In the game, players can realize their blood-lust for the right by gunning down prominent conservatives with an Uzi. Among the “zombies” available for slaughter: Glenn Beck, Brit Hume, Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity, Michele Bachmann, Sarah Palin and Newt Gingrich and the Koch brothers.
The far-left Olbermann, clearly offended by the game, clarified for his audience that, “It doesn’t matter how you feel about those people…there is no place for this.“ He added that there is ”no excuse“ for being the ”thing,” or, person, that “tips a mental case” over the edge to carry out an act of violence against one of the people featured in the game, or tips “another mental case” to exact revenge against a political opponent.
“Boycott StarvingEyes until they pull the plug on this,” he added:

Posted on September 9, 2011 at 12:44amhaha The-Monk, that’s funny. & you’re right!
Boy, Keith surprised on this one. He’s still loony but it was good that he spoke out against this outrageous video game. It’s probably because it included every single conservative & practically every employee of Fox News. If it had only been Glenn Beck, Sarah Palin, & Michele Bachmann et al, he probably would have found it amusing.

Posted on September 9, 2011 at 10:00amNotice how he only made it the worse and not the worser or worst on his list.
Side note: If the homeowners in Texas would actually take care of their property by cutting the limbs on their trees up to a decent height, keep the under brush to a minimum, not let large trees grow next to or in direct contact with their homes, and mow within a hundred yards of their homes; they wouldn’t need such a large budget to fight natural fire. Notice I don’t call it wild fire because that would be violent rhetoric. Also, fire is natural and it has been proven that a century of actively fighting forest fires has led to an increase in the potential for large scale fires and total forest destruction instead of just fertilizing.
