Shock Pro-Life Video Ad Compares Obama to Skeletal Angel of Death

The video was produced by Personhood USA which is based in Colorado. The Amendment 62 ballot initiative in Colorado deals with the definition of “personhood:”

It says “the term ‘person’ shall apply to every human being from the beginning of the biological development of that human being.”

Here’s a description of the video from Politics Daily:

That two-minute video attributes “the decline of America” to Colorado‘s 1967 approval of abortion to save a mother’s life or in cases of rape or incest. At one point, Obama’s face appears, morphing from the grim reaper, with the words “Then the Angel of Death arrived and Hell followed with him.” As ominous music plays in the background, the video notes, “He took over banks, industry, and finally, our health care.“ The video from Personhood USA is titled ”The Prolife Tea Party Vote.”

I tell this because it’s important for people to know.

Planned Parenthood is a multi-billion dollar a year corporate entity; a fortune 500 company, if I recall correctly. They receive government (tax-payer) subsidies. They receive special treatment and dispensation for sub-standard of care medical malpractice.

I am a physician. I have dealt with their medical mistakes and malpractice and have taken my complaints to the state board of medical examiners after having less than satisfactory conversations with their office managers and had my complaints meet with deaf ears and state and federal code quoted to me.

The services they provide (killing unborn human beings) are, I was told, exempt from any oversight for malpractice.

I have treated patients who were hemorrhaging weeks after “receiving women’s healthcare services” (i.e. – having an abortion), had to be hospitalized and given multiple-unit transfusions, one who had an endometrial infection that nearly killed her, several who weren’t treated properly for STDs (whether by neglect or intent I’ll never know), and such stories from my colleagues are commonplace.

Yes, I realize that killing unborn humans is a constitutionally-guaranteed right to be provided on demand any time, any place, without parental consent or advisement [please turn on your sarcasm and irony filters here], but medical malpractice is still harming the primary patient and this organization has gotten away with worse for decades.

    And there are others.

I wish I lived in Colorado so I could vote FOR amendment 62. Then I wish I were registered democrat so I could vote 3 or 4 times for it.

I wish amendment 62 were unnecessary.

Now back to my regularly scheduled patient-care soap box.

“Safe Sex” is abstinence until marriage and fidelity until death. It’s a blessing, not a curse, and a fundamental law of human relations. Like the law of gravity, you may not like it, but ignoring it can have serious and life-threatening consequences. Condoms fail and every time you take that chance, you increase the risk that you WILL become infected, that you WILL become pregnant, and there are always consequences to your choices.

I LOVE your point that this is a fundamental law of human relations–like the law of gravity.
I’ve made this point for the reasons for living a moral life; That we live in a Universe of Consequence and therefore there must be a RIGHT and a WRONG way to live–not because of religion but because of those laws. If you get an abortion, it is not usually a happy occasion–you don’t go and tell your family and throw a party. They are trying to escape the natural law–trying to escape the consequence to their actions. They call unwanted pregnancies mistakes…well, mistakes can’t happen if you did nothing wrong. Therefore having intercourse when you were too young or not ready was a bad thing to do. A BAD thing.
People try to say, “You can live your way and I can live mine and that’s okay–neither is right and neither is wrong.” But the Law of the Universe tell us otherwise. There are consequences to every action–even moral ones.
This is logic. It’s how we should argue this point.

This add presents a harsh reality, but abortion is a much more harsh reality when it is presented for what it is. As a Coloradoan, I fully support amendment 62. Abortion started here and maybe this is divine justice for the unborn if we can start the long road of reversal here.

While on the truth campaign with this pro life ad, lets put some more truth out into the pulic square that may come as a surprise to some. “Susan G. Komen/race for the cure/pink ribbon brigade” is in league with Planned Parenthood, the world’s largest abortion provider. Every year Komen takes milliions in donations from unsuspecting pro lifers and Christians as well as corporations and businesses and funnels them into this death mill. This project is not longer just national, it has gone global.

Dr. Alveda King is only one of many who are trying to get the word out into the general population. We must also expose this un-holy alliance.

I think I should have emphasized more how much I don’t resonate with the irrationality of this ad. B irrational I don’t mean stupid or wrong, just that there is no reasoned presentation of an argument that does not presppose an enthusiastic agreement with the ad’s position. It isn’t just preaching to the choir. It is shouting to the mob.

Yesterday there was a post about Dreyfuss saying he channelled his inner Hitler to portray Cheney, and we rightly deride him. But now we are to applaud portraying Obama as the Angel of Death? Anyone sense a disconnect? Does anyone think Glenn would stand within a hundred yards of this ad?

St James had profound wsidom about the danger of the toungue. We should be careful how we speak. I speak as one who has often spoken and written unguardedly, so i am not saying I am above this ad. I can see myself arguing in my head along these lines, and within the circle of people who agree with me about the evil of abortion and the danger posed by Obama’s radicalism these thoughts might seem the only reasonable conclusion. But it’s one thing to think Obama is an instrument of the devil. It’s another thing to say it. And it’s another thing to applaud it when said. This is not the argument we want to be having.

For starters, Glenn is not my standard. Jesus is. He called the scribes and Pharisees “white washed tombs, full of dead bones.” He told the unbelieving Jews, “You are of your father the devil…He was a murderer from the beginning…”

All those words apply to Obama, thus the image is befitting. If you think partial-birth/saline abortions are not horrific, go on promoting a sanitized criticism of Obama. This ad will wake some up. Those who want to frolic all the way to Judgment Day will have no excuse.

You are right. It won’t change the opinion of anybody on abortion. What it CAN do is change some pro-life people’s opinion of Obama, especially if they call themselves Christians. It’s time for those people to get real — with God. Either you are for God or against God, and anybody who is pro-life or calls himself a Christian and supports a man who is an abortion activist AND has the power of the presidency to carry out his agenda, had better think twice. Yes, this is a wake-up call.

Can some lawyer out there answer this question: If the government cannot tell a woman what she can do with her pregnancy why is it the government can tell me what health insurance I have to buy, what doctors, I can see, and how much care I can get?? Isn’t what I do with my body and what doctor I go to, and where I choose to get my medical care?? Isn’t this a good lawsuit against Obamacare in that the government will be controlling what I can or cannot do with my body?

I usually do not go for the pro-life ads because I believe people should have the ability to make their own choices–and the fact that if abortion was illegal, all we would see is an increase in back-alley abortions and more death on the part of the mother as well. I honestly believe that most parents just aren’t educating and lovingly communicating to their children. A lot the teen abortions result in the fact the the teen feels unable to talk to their parents about it. Parents just need to let their kids know that if they do end up pregnant, that they only option is not abortion–and that the parents STILL love them.
I personally AM pro-life. At first glance I thought I would hate this ad, but they turned out making a very powerful stance without sounding too religious-in-your-face about it. I applaud it.

So while the Jewish Holocaust was going on you would have talked about it? You would have done nothing to stop it other than talk? THIS IS NOT A SOCIAL ISSUE! This is the systematic slaughter of human beings.

I feel for the women that buy into “it’s not a baby” because I have seen first hand the mental devastation that follows women who have abortions – that doesn’t even touch on the physical dangers that follows abortion – one being 50% INCREASED RISK of breast cancer!!

I am NOT a conservative – I’m a libertatian! I don’t believe the goverment should have any part in social issues – ie – gay marriage and so on. But by making this a social issue we have de-humanized ourselves – would anyone in 1965 have thought that by allowing this we would have gotten to the point where we have national level legislators openly speaking of allowing parents the right to kill thier own children up to the age of two? That we would have elected a president that has no problem withholding medical assistents to premature babies and allowing them to die?

I apologize if my argument seems rude – but this is what “Not forcing someone to do what is right” has gotten us. We force them by calling abortion what it is and treating it as such!!

      At Jeremiah:

Look, I get it. I’m a Libertarian too, man. I believe life starts at conception. And I know the facts. I saw the video with Virgina Ironside calling the murder of a suffering child “killing a few cells”. I understand that abortion is a slow step toward that. But when that baby is in the mother, their lives are inseparably connected for that time. It‘s the mother’s body that we are fooling with here too.
I believe it is murder. I honestly do, but I think the source of the matter is that people are not fixing the issue–which is people having promiscuous sex who aren’t ready for a child.
I cannot force a woman, who’s life is TIED to the child inside her, to eat healthy, work out, not do crack, or not kill the child. I can’t force that…and I won’t.

Newz – I see where you’re coming from but if a woman wants to drug herself into losing her baby thats all on HER. At this point in time I am paying for these abortions and doctors are performing them. THAT is what should be stopped. If a woman wants to be irresponsible get pregnant and have a back alley abortion and she dies or gets sick then that is her fault. Just like snorting cocaine has its consequenses and smoking cigarettes. It’s against everything I believe in for innocent humans to be killed yet the money I work so hard for goes into funding it? If a woman wants to kill her baby, I can’t stop it, no one can. But doctors should NOT be fired for not performing an abortion and I should not have to fund it.

      And WOW. GA. Tea Party:
“Hell is coming for you”?? Really? Because I didn‘t know that God judges me for another individual’s sins; I didn‘t know that MY SALVATION was linked to the COLLECTIVE’S SALVATION. Sound familiar? Maybe a little like LIBERATION THEOLOGY?? I’m responsible for my decisions ALONE. I will do all that I can to help women with unwanted pregnancies NOT chose abortion, but I will not FORCE them.
I can‘t even believe I’m having this discussion. God gave us all freedom to make our own decisions. That is a SACRED RIGHT. I am not higher than God and I do not believe I am more capable to judge than God is–so I let them keep their God-given right. Or I WILL be judged.

It is such a wonderment to me that uneducated African Americans support a man that is for their demise. The problem is that we have more evil people in the U.S. than good people, but, with God all things are possible. Christians must gather together in unity and pray judgement upon the lives of those who will not repent of killing babies. He is coming with ten thousands of his saints to execute judgement. The prayers of the saints goes up as inscence and an angel gets the inscence and puts it into a censer of fire and casts it to the earth (Revelation) I personally am not afraid of praying judgment upon those who kill babies and will not repent.

I agree. Leaving out the skull and leaving out the phrase “angel of death arrived and hell followed with him” would still fit just as much. I mean, it’s not a very good line for the ad, honestly. Whereas before that phrase non-secular people could very well agree with the entire ad but after that phrase it drives a wedge there.
It makes it seem as if ALL pro-lifers are fueled by religion, which IS false. And it will give the pro-choice people more ammo to call us all crazy. They’ll show that clip and that clip alone. They‘ll call us crazy religious racists and won’t pay attention to the other issues.
I wish they would’ve left it out of the ad because it would make the point even clearer.
      It’s still a really good ad though…

Come one, people. No he’s done nothing to deserve our respect. But, as citizens of this country, it is our duty to show it. Be better than they are.
You’re usually the school-ground philosophy that two wrongs make a right. Yes, they’ve hurt our country and damaged the American way of life, but we STILL need to be civil. We need to bit our tongues and be adults and take them down with logic instead of name-calling. Be respectful. Argue the policies, not the person. It will get us NOWHERE.

I don’t agree. When you are in a fight for your life, you don’t use the marquis of queensbury rules. They pull a knife, you pull out a gun. We can be nice once we have won the war. We have “niced” ourselves into this problem. The lefties have had no problem getting in our face (to quote our dear leader) and we have to put the fear of God in this bully. You can say “we won’t stoop to their level”, well, again, when you are in a fight for your life, survival is more important than political correctness. I don’t condone doing anything morally wrong. I would have supported killing Hitler if we had the chance back then. Don’t misconstrue what I just said, I’m not condoning killing. I can’t believe I even had to qualify that. But it makes my point of the times we live in.

Are you not on a list as one of those slated to have their freedom curtailed at the whim of this man? That, to me, ups the stakes. And with that kind of threat being levied I don’t think any of this is too much.

Blunt and right to the point…and very accurate.

The Progressives, Mr Obama and the last several years of suicidal politics have brought the nation of ours to the edge of the abyss…with God the only way back.

This is the time in which the choice needs to be made, turn to the Almighty and find security and guidance in his hands; or do we shatter the Constitution – God inspired and granted freedoms – and allow ourselves to descend into the abyss forever. Look at the french revolution and the history that has followed them for generations…

That is the choice of fates for the nation.

God said “I call on to you to chose blessings or cursings; life or death…chose life that you may live.”

The choice is ours now to make.

One of the very first acts as our newly elected president Obama allowed OUR tax dollars to be used for internationla abortions…

Obama reverses Bush abortion-funds policy 1/23/09

“WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama on Friday struck down the Bush administration‘s ban on giving federal money to international groups that perform abortions or provide abortion information — an inflammatory policy that has bounced in and out of law for the past quarter-century.

Obama’s move, the latest in an aggressive first week reversing Bush policies, was warmly welcomed by liberal groups and denounced by abortion rights foes….”

Has SOROS really infected the American body so thoroughly? We need people who know how, to chase this information out. It needs to be done quickly and thoroughly! Only threw the light of day can America SURVIVE this insidious INVASION into our POLITICS, our SCHOOLS, our NEWSPAPERS, and finally our CHILDREN. We must move quickly or face COLLAPSE!
WHERE IS THE FBI? They are responsible for PROTECTING our government from FOREIGN and DOMESTIC interference. No one citizen can fight the AMOUNT of money flowing in to these left-wing COMMUNIST insurgence organizations. Only when all of the citizens finally STAND UP and FIGHT back are we going to have a chance at regaining our FREEDOM!
Please call the FBI and give them any information you may have on this invasion against our constitution, our government, and our schools.

Thank you Glen for bringing this commercial to the forefront. To have liberty and the pursuit of happiness we first have to have life. The effectiveness of this clip is what gets under the skin of those that feel negatively about it. Unfortunately if you google the grim reaper or the angel of death. You will see that those who have received that name are primarily serial killers and particularly macabre is the association with serial killers of babies or small children.

Since President Obama has voted for partial birth abortion in the Illinois senate and against its ban in the US Senate, this morphing image is completely justified. The ad has nothing to do with party politics or the Church or God as some in the You tube train of comments suggest. George Orwell was a democratic socialist, whatever that is,and atheist and he was pro-life.

Lastly, babies are human at every stage of development. that is a scientific fact, we only morph in videos….Personhood is an eloquent simple concept. It is a simple decision and it can not be mixed with shades of gray. You can discuss what to do about rape and incest but the truth is that you are making a decision about two individual human beings. Human mom and human baby. Glen, you of all people should be very sensitive to the repercussions of a decision like that. Thanks for all you do for all of us.

One solution, life sentences for abortion doctors and any woman who has an abortion. You cannot call this murder, premeditated in fact and not hold the killers responsible. I don’t buy the argument that the women who kill their children are blameless victims. A few televised lethal injections of some of these murdering women and their doctors will stop the killing a lot more than TV commercials. They want to breed then make them feed, cloth and take care of the kids not kill them off because it’s too inconvenient. We need people to be held personally responsible and that includes reproductive “rights”.

      ty19792001,
Execution of a baby killer is not the same as killing the baby. I favor the death PENALTY not murder. If you don‘t see a difference there is no point arguing with you but I’ll ask a question. If a man rapes and murders a 2 year old does he deserve to live or should we demand he forfeit his life? To me that’s a no brainer. Kill him and do it slowly.

Well I just don’t understand how one can be against murder in one situation but for it in another. I don’t believe that we have the right to decide when a person dies or when a person lives. I do believe that is God’s job not ours. So to answer your question I say no we should not kill him because if I said yes then I would be a killer. The whole point in debating a person is to expose ourselves to different ideas. By choosing not to debate a person because their view is different then you limit yourself and prevent from learning or teaching others.

Sorry about my wording it was off on that post and it reads poorly. “By choosing not to debate a person because their view is different then you limit yourself and prevent from learning or teaching others.” Correcting this so it can be understood. By choosing not to debate a person because their views are different then yours there is no point to debates. Also you will be limiting yourself on others ideas and could prevent them from learning about your ideas and you learning about theirs. I am always up to learning about how people think and maybe I didn’t come off that way with my first post. I just wanted to know how killing is okay in one situation but not another is all.
