Shock Vid Captures Teacher Punching Student in the Face…Repeatedly

This video is a must-see. It captures Hernando County, Florida’s Sandra Hadsock, a 64-year-old veteran art teacher, punching an unruly student in the face numerous times.

The educator, who coincidently is well-liked and recently won teacher of the year, claims the pupil called her vulgar names and then backed her into a wall. While Hadsock was subsequently arrested for child abuse, she has since been cleared and charges won’t be filed (there’s no way to prove whether she threw the first punch or was simply defending herself).

Another kid in the classroom acted quickly and caught the entire incident on video (via a cell phone). Watch below:

    We don’t know what happened prior to where the recording picks up. Maybe the teacher was struck first. We don’t know. However, the teacher was backed up against a DOOR and could have left the room, gone to another classroom and called for school security. Just saying she had other options other than striking the kid. I’m all for corporal punishment myself. Too many kids, today, don’t suffer from “low self-esteem”. Quite the contrary, they’re too damned arrogant and have no respect for authority. I get it.

      She could have fled through that door. Maybe she should have to save herself the trouble. Then maybe the kid could have bowed up on someone who would knock him on his ass and put his boot through his trachea. I think showing him his boundaries may have taught him the most valuable lesson of his life.

      When a bully has you backed up to a door you don’t turn your back on him and fumble for the doorknob, because he will knock your a$$ out the first chance he sees the back of your head. Her only option at that point was to stare him down and tell him to back off, but when he leaned in, that was it, he crossed into her personal space, no other options but fight or flight. I think he would have hit her if she showed she was scared and turned to run out, thats what bullies do.

      Wishful thinking! Narator said the DA was not pursuing assault chjarges. Doors still popen fpor civil action. “You CAN’T hit him!” The teacher won’t have a jopb next year, and the kids parents will file suit against the school.

    Well when I was a kid first of all we respect for adults so I never witnessed anything like this in grade school , high school or college. But if i would have tried something like this my father would have beat me into the next world.

    But things have changed Gay marriage, single mothers with five kids with five differant dads, 11 to 50 depending on who you ask in this country illegally etc.

    Violence is ALWAYS the wrong answer and never a solution.
    This teacher did not have control of her class and should have sought help, especially if the student was threatening. She was standing in front of a doorway -two doorways – and should have left for assistance. Hitting a student will not make that student or the others witnessing that violence and the fact that the teacher was out of control respect her or themselves. Think Christ, think Gandhi, think Dr. King and how differently they would have reacted.

      Problem with the world today is that kids respect nobody and nothing….the teacher did the right thing….this kid was younger and taller had her backed into a wall and was intimidating her….he bullied her…there’s only one way to handle a bully– knock him on his ass……once done, he will never bully you again…..this pansy minded liberal thinking of todays “do-gooders” that we can address abusive actions by tossing flowers at them and being nice to them will only get you shot or killed……think about how far we would have gotten in WWII if we would have appeased Nazi Germany…….we’d all be speaking German today….the only thing a bully respects is strength NOT weakness…..

      Actually, I’m a conservative who worked for Republicans for a good share (Having seen politics from the inside out, I agree with Glenn, neither party has the answer). No birkies here, actually I like suits and working formal dress. I have four children who I teach to respect the teacher, and to respect authority. Clearly this boy is troubled and needs help and I would be the first to reprimand my children. BUT that’s the point, it is my job to reprimand my children. If a teacher has trouble, she/he must notify ME. But I am from Wisconsin, where I’ve seen incredible, unbelievable things, socialist things being spewed by teachers. I have seen that “the children” aren’t the first concern for many union-trained teachers. I do not want a teacher to ever lay a hand on my child, so I also tell my children that if any teacher ever lays a hand on them, they need to leave, get help, call me and the authorities. A teacher who resorts to violence teaches nothing.

      Dr King would have knocked the kid on his ass! This was not about “race” – this was a verbal, leading to a physical assualt by a boy/man on a woman! Ghandi – get real. ANY man – and that includes the bouys in the class – should have whupped this kid’s butt. the girl and her comments – well, since all the counselors teach kids “their rights” instead of civility and control of your actions – this is the crap kid’s spout.

      MYB, I’m not really sure how to take what you have said here, other than, in my humble opinion you are not what you are trying to pass yourself as.
      Where should I begin,? other than to stat off with that in your couple of postings here, it is obvious that if in fact you are a parent, and by what you, yourself have put out there for all to see, is that YOU, are the type of person that raises your little angels, in such a way that creates the environment for this sort of thing to happen!
      Allow me to paint a scenario here for you, since I have a unique perspective and understanding of what is my guess, that probably happened here. And by the end of my take on this, I‘m willing to bet that I’m not very far off.
      1. Granted, the teacher did not have controll of her class at this point in time, but was that her fault? I doubt it, a vetran teacher? , with what, probably twenty, thirty, years experience? Dealing with, what more than likely started out with a disruptive student, while on HER time trying to teach her class, not his time, but,! HER TIME!
      2. Standing in front of a doorway, and should have left for assistance? ARE YOU INSANE? Walking away from a punk like this would have only left him emboldened to push even harder the next time! He already exibits little or no respect for authority, (perhaps not even for himself) you do not walk away from a bully, you face them head-on!

      Oh my gosh! You obviously DO NOT know much about how easily this can happen with boys of this age and their racing hormones. especially in today’s culture where the father teaches with his example of how NOT to respect women by the way he responds to women himself.       When child psychologists said it would damage poor junior’s self esteem if he/she suffered consequences for his/her actions. This was definitely an assault by the student on the teacher,she was defending herself. I also note that she gave him a warning that he was stepping over the line. He should be charged.

      I remember a teacher half her size with a student a quite a bit taller than him. all she had to do was point her finger at his chest while she spoke and he did exactly what he was told.

      Parents who raise their kids with no consequences or discipline,are not raising children but human animals. I don‘t think they’ll be getting the good paying jobs with the power and responsibility. They wouldn’t know how to do the job.

      The girl in the background is really disgusting. Typical of the new power woman, she opens her mouth about everything. She thinks that because she can think, she knows it all. I’d like to see that girl get decked. It’s like these modern liberal women think the whole world can be controlled, that things can be made right, that older people should sacrifice for younger people.

      There are times when I wished I had made it tougher on my ex-wife’s kids. She constantly, like this little anal, control-freak, wanted to prevent consequences, protect the brats from anything, even from themselves! Well I guess I got my wish. Looks like those kids are going to get to experience the great depression with front row seats.

      Yeah, I love how we’ve taught our kids that they can do whatever the hell they want and there are no consequences, like this girl in the video.

      Or like the kids who jaywalk across the street as slowly as they can to make the traffic stop for them and they think nothing will ever happen. What if a drunk driver plowed right through them? I was taught to be respectful of others and not inconvenience those around me, let alone verbally attack or intimidate another.

      This kid‘s lucky that his jaw isn’t broken, that teacher has a mean right!

      Your Right …I remember in the caveman days of the sixty’s .. a kid once kicked a teacher in the shin ..The teacher dragged him out by the ear beat the crap out of him ..Then the kid got the crap beat out of him when his dad came and picked him up …Guess what we knew right from wrong ..Because there were consequences for wrong..

      @THEVOICE Correct this is exactly the way it should be handled. The notion that no tolerance policies and treating adolescents like criminals for well, being adolescents is laughable. For example in Ohio if your the unfortunate adolescent who is caught experimenting by drinking a beer, you are sent to juvenile court where they suspend your license for 6 months, whether you were near a car or not. Such punishments bread distrust and contempt for the authorities not respect. Occasionally we should just write it off to merely adolescent mistake and part of growing up. And yes we should let teachers and sometimes even student peer pressure deal with unruly in a manner that sends a signal to the student that it won’t be tolerated. But I would hope the police and courts have better things to do with their time and our money.

    The student had her pinned against the wall and was leaning toward her in a threatening manner. Self defense – her response was justified. The student is the one who should be charged.

      If that boy had any manors he would have been sitting in his seat doing what he is there for. No respect, probably no consequences. Teacher have a hard job teaching today, and they have to defend themselves as well? Nonsense, they boy should be suspended for at least a week. Odd are, he won’t finish high school anyway. She needed to defend herself, you never know how far that kid was going to push that envelope.

      He deserved it. You can’t (as a male) get up in a woman’s face and try to intimidate her with your physical superiority without expecting exactly what he got. In the old days, she wouldn’t have HAD to defend herself because the young MEN in the class would have stepped in… Obviously there were NO YOUNG MEN in that class, just a bunch of skinny jean wearing, toenail painted whoosie boys that our culture has created.

      Sad, but true… teaching is a dangerous profession these days! My wife works at a middle school with 1,000 7th & 8th graders. She endures threatening behavior like this frequently. A zero tolerance policy for this student behavior is necessary… but don’t hold your breath. The kids know who runs the school… (hint… it’s not the principal). FREE OUR KIDS FROM PARTY (Communist) SCHOOLS!

      Any psychologist would confirm that she acted in self defense.
      A. She was backed in a corner, initiating the “Fight or Flight” conditions
      B. You CLEARLY see the student take a step and lean forward in an obvious menacing manner which triggered the “Fight or Flight” response.
      C. She acted in self defense to the situation the SHE was placed in BY the student who forced her into a fight or flight position.

      Far as I am concerned all teachers should be armed with tazer pistols and certified in how to use them. Lets see these punks get in a teacher’s face like that when the teacher is packin 10,000 volts of sit down and STFU!

      she gets my vote for teacher of the decade now. After she thumped his tater, he should have been drug down to the principles office, where they put a wood paddle across his tail side, then when he went home, his dad should have taken a leather belt and tore his butt clean out of the frame. We took Bible out of the school, took prayer out of the homes, replaced with rock music, TV, and nonsence from Doctor Spoc on how to raise kids. Now we have decades worth of jack-asses with no discipline.

      perhaps off topic, but I wish someone with a voice and a followingl would make the following recommendation. Every man in this country who has at least a sliver of backbone should put on a leather belt and head to his local mall. Every time he sees one of these punk kids walking around with their pants down, said man should silently take that belt off, ease up behind junior, and with all his might, crack junior hard enough across the butt cheeks, that it leaves one heck of a red stripe. It would not take long before junior gets some pants that fit, or a belt to hold them up.

      Any Psychologist would tell you she defended herself.
      A. The student backed her in a corner, heightening the “Fight or Flight” situation
      B. The student then CLEARLY steps forward, leans forward putting his face in hers in an aggressive manner, this triggered the “Fight or Flight” response.
      C. Up until the point she threw the punch the student was the clear aggressor.

      Teachers should all be certified and carry tazer pistols. Lets see a student get in a teacher’s face like that when the teacher has 10,000 volts of “sit down and shut up” clipped to their belt.

      CLEARLY..the teacher was right…I would be scared if some big kid like that was yelling in my face backing me into a corner…I don’t if I would of started wacking him, but one does not know what you would HAVE to do in a situation like that…Hope the teacher comes through this ok!

      THAT is what mommas are made for. My mom got her PhD in “go cut me a switch, boy!” before she was 25, and it worked WONDERS on me! You will NEVER see me on Oprah talking about “abuse”, but I’ll talk about my childhood “correction” til you go to sleep on me. A solid azz-whoopin’ works wonders on a child, and maybe a lesson that they will carry throughout their lives.

      The student should be held for assault, and suspended. The vid shows clearly that he backed her up against the door and he closed the space with his body against her body. That in itself is assualt from the student to the teachers.

      You could see he came in contact with her first. That’s it. Her response was appropriate and she stopped when he backed away.

      We’re in such a mess. WE need to straighten this mess out. This TEACHER is 64!!!? Bless her…This kid is so lost and misguided… just a mess. GOD must be Shaking His Head.

      Thank God for that kid who came up and pulled him away. Everyday there is more EVIL…MORE INHUMANITY TO MAN (AND WOMAN) …. Beck is right… the only way out of this is for US to be the best we can be, as mannerly as we can be (it’s hard when We have to deal with Obama and Muslims) … I feel sorry for the kid who doesn’t know any better and has 0 discipline. What a life he’s going to have unless he gets himself straightened out.

      The student was taller and looked like he could handle himself. He has her in a compromising position pinned against the wall. Any teacher I have ever had would have either had me thrown out of school or hit me so hard that I would never have forgotten. I vote for the latter.

      I agree, she definitely appeared to feel threatened. Once she swung once and had little effect she probably panicked. He should NOT have been anywhere near her talking to her in that way. At the very least he should be suspended.

Drugs, Sex, and Rock and Roll, all three tied to rebelion, and all aimed at destroying the youth, family, and moral fiber of this nation.

      Without natural affection – So, in the end times there will also be folks withought natural affection- sounds to me like there will be folks wanting to do unnatural acts, like letting sodomites into the military, and letting them get married.

      When someone invades your personal space in an agressive, threatening manor you should do what you have to in order to get them out of your space. If you do more, as in sticking a knife between their ribs, then you will need to answer to the authorities about using deadly force, so I would suggest you do as little as possible to extricate yourself.

      I pushed an abusive boyfriend out of my face because I felt threatened, the dishwasher door was open and he fell over it, scratching his arm on the cabinet. I actually am the one who called 911 so they could make him just go away. I was escorted to jail. The arresting officer didn’t want to hear that I was afraid when I pushed this man out of my face. He was African-American and I can‘t help but wonder if race didn’t play some part in his decision, perhaps too that I was a woman and he‘d certainly thrown his share of male ’abusers’ in the clink. He might have had something against a large, middle aged woman with no makeup on in her nice S Florida apartment. This was Easter Sunday, the holiest day of the year for Christians–he may have been pi$$ed about having to work it, I don’t know. I had prepared two wonderful meals for my family and was in the kitchen cleaning up after the second one when I committed my ‘crime’. I can’t believe I am sharing this with all of you, maybe there is something cathartic in releasing it after haunting me for so long. Not everyone who goes to jail deserves to be there.

      I will tell you one thing, if I ever tried to back one of the benedictine nuns, who provided me with an excellent education, into a wall, I would have received a lot more than what this teacher doled out. And the additional discipline would not have come from the nuns, but from my own parents. Obviously, this kid never learned to respect authority.

      Student was way out of line. But then again what to people expect when you criminalize adolescents. That is these no tolerance policies on everything from mild peer pressure, to experimenting with alcohol, to the predictable emotional or physical outburst. If adolescents could totally control their emotions and responses to things they would not be adolescents. And clearly eliminating Phys. Ed. where kids were able to work off some energy and stress hasn’t helped either. Restrictive policies and treating adolescents like they are criminals when they experiment leads to these kinds of events.

      If parents would tell their children, “NO” on occasion…

      I agree to extent.. the child is out of control, but then again.. many many teachers have been teaching or brainwashing our children liberal lies and untruths for decades. This teacher is clearly protecting herself.. but what it doesn’t show is why this kid was in her face to begin with. Give us the whole story please!
