Shock Video: Bus Runs Over Protesters on Venezuelan HIghway

AP: At least four people in Venezuela were injured Friday during a protest. The four were part of a group trying to close down a highway when a bus and a car ran over them outside of Caracas.

    A crowd in the street, appearing perhaps a bit angry…. does the driver know if their going to pull him from the cab and beat him to death? I hate to say it, but I don’t think I would want to stop in that situation either. This IS Venezuela after all.
    Personally, if I didn’t want to get run over, I would get the Effff out of the road.
    Evidently they thought their protest was worth the possible consequences or they wouldn’t have placed themselves in the position to be run-over.

    When I was in DC going to the Glenn Beck’s rally, we had many blacks blocking the driveways and roads so the buses and cars couldn’t park. Oh how I wanted our driver to run them over. But common sense kicks in and you know you can’t do that. These are people with little brains being told what to do 24/7 so you can’t blame their stupidity on just them. You have to blame the anointed one obamamamama, sharpton, jackson, new black panters, etc.

    PS: I don’t think these peope were just injured. Some looked dead, not moving, head turned the wrong direction facing their back.

    The only blame here belongs to the people standing in the middle of a highway. The some get hurt. (wow never saw that coming!!) Then they cry and stomp their feet……. Little kids that didn’t get what they wanted.

    Same kind of thing happens in our political world every day. Progressives lose a seat or lose the vote on an issue and they cry, whine and name call. It happens time after time.

    Sometimes people DO get what they deserve. That is what happened in this case.

    Maybe when you feel like there is no other way to have your voice heard other than to risk your own life this is what people will resort to. Shocking !! It would be nice to know what these people were protesting? Why would they resort to this? Terrible it ended this way. Moral – don’t protest in the middle of the highway. Good to know that ole Chavez has a good buddy in president Obama. Chavez probably views this as just a few more simpletons out of his way to developing a country of pure bliss. No wonder some of our leaders dream about Socialism. Wonderful..peaceful..bliss?

    I have no sympathy for those that got run over. If you are trying to close a freeway with a protest by standing in the street…you SHOULD get run over. You are an ignorant S.O.B. Get your damned protest on the side of the road where it belongs and stop trying to cause chaos. They would have all been arrested for standing in the freeway in America.

      The Highways have been shut down in Seattle several times by protesters over the past few years. It’s quite disgusting. It goes beyond civil disobedience. They have no regard for Ambulance, Fire, or Police vehicles trapped in the traffic. The protests are about immigaration and racism (in Seattle).

      What in the world would one expect when you’re standing in the middle of a highway. Sorry, but the laws of inertia and gross tonnage are not in peolpe’s favor when applied against vehicles. Heck, if Prince Charles’ drive had refused to stop recently, the press coverage of the anarchists’ ausault against them would have been about idiots not getting out of the way instead of idiots stopping for mobs.

      If the bus driver did that on purpose, he is a villian. The car might not have known the speed bump was a person. But this is Applied Darwinistics. Lying down in traffic in Hugoland is never a good idea.

      Note to self: If you want to protest on a highway by having people lay down in traffic, make sure you don’t disguise yourself as a speed bump or a mattress.

      It is the protesters fault that they put themselves and their protesting buddies in danger…NOT THE BUS DRIVERS FAULT…BANGING ON CARS THREATING PASSER-BYERS…My parent’s always taught me to look both ways before crossing a road and do not play in the street, FOR A REASON…It is the liberals who usually practice civil acts of disobedience by laying in the road and all of that other stuff…not to say that some right wing groups have not done this before either, but it is like liberals 100 to 1 times over that do this stuff…another thing concerning this terrible event, is that if I were that bus driver and that car that people were banging on it as it passed by the mobsters as they were presenting violent behavior that could harm me, how would anyone respond to keep themselves safe from this mob? I would not have stopped either, but I sure would not want to harm them though…just avoid them as best as I can even though roads were made for cars and such, not for protesters…stay off the roads people and if you want to protest, carry freaking signs next time and do not put your friends in danger by encouraging dangerous acts of stopping traffic or harming innocent drivers that have nothing to do with your situations…BE CIVIL and debate…if you had banged on my car and presented a threat to me…I wonder how far I would be willing to go to protect myself and the innocent…perhaps this bus drive felt the same…did you learn anything? Take my parents advice, look both ways and do not play in traffic…and dont start acts of violence with others…you could die you know…use COMMON SENSE…
