Shock Video: College Student Tries to Jump from Roof into Pool but Misses and Hits Concrete

Ian Smith, a student at Colorado State University, is in critical condition after a Saturday-afternoon stunt went horribly wrong. It was then that Smith tried to jump from a three-story apartment complex and into the pool below. He missed, breaking his ankles, heels, and several vertebrae in his back, according to KUSA-TV in Denver.
Shocking video of the incident has surfaced showing the entire thing.
Once Smith hit the concrete, he rolled into the pool as blood spilled on the ground. Bystanders eventually pulled him out and paramedics said he was lucky to be alive.
“You could hear him hit it, and just kinda rolled into the pool,” Jared Roberts told KUSA.
“Ugh, it definitely made me sick,” Brittany Polliard, who witnessed the jump, added.
Witnesses say some were encouraging Smith to jump while others were discouraging it. It’s unclear if alcohol was a factor, but people were drinking and lounging pool side.

An incredible number of the kids in CSU are so completely moronic and yet they are arrogant at the same time. That combined with tenured teachers having kids teach the classes so the teacher can travel – I never even met one of the teachers after the two months of classes. I doubt he even came to teach after I quit CSU.

CSU just wasted $350,000 for a design of a second NFL style stadium that they MIGHT build. Building a new stadium is massive waste of money too. Some of the kids are smart enough to be angry at CSU for their terrible teachers and wasted money, most aren’t.
The teachers I met were wildly Liberal. I know at least one is pushing Agenda 21 – trying to get the kids to think it’s a good idea. I don‘t know if it’s a Colorado problem or a national one, but the CSU kids seem much dumber and far more arrogant than when I was growing up (stupidity and arrogance… an horrible combination as one’s main personality traits).

Here is an example of alcohol at work. Now I know you criticize Ron Paul because he supports legalizing pot, which you are deathly against, but have you ever seen such behavior from pot smokers? Can you imagine the outrage if these kids smoked a joint and then jumped off a building? When alcohol is involved, it’s no big deal. It’s just part of the fun.
