Shock New Videos Capture Angry Mob Busting Wis. Police Barricades

The video coming out of Wisconsin is breathtaking.
After the state Senate passed anti-union measures, protesters swarmed the Capitol. But because of a judge’s order that the building be closed after 8pm, police were required to try and stop them. They tried. And because of the aggressive manner of the protesters, eventually failed.
Below is video taken by the conservative MacIver Institute of protesters who had already seeped into the building making a mad, Trojan horse-style run for the front doors to let in other protesters. Police quickly stepped in to try and stop the flow. It got physical:
Here’s video from inside that same mob (WARNING: contains graphic language):
Protesters even tried to break into the building through a bathroom window, but ingenuity and a quick-responding officer thwarted that attempt:
They eventually made it through a different window, however:
Once they had busted their way inside, protesters held a rally:
And once again they danced and banged drums, this time alongside a “stripper cop” and a guy in deer suit:
The Badger Herald reports (via Gateway Pundit):
After about an hour and a half, protesters stormed the building’s entrances, forcing themselves past police blockades.
Protesters who remained in the building past the hearing’s conclusion ran the risk of being arrested for disorderly conduct because of a March 3 court order that declared people could not occupy the Capitol after hours.
Capitol police said they were in “crisis mode” Wednesday evening because the building had been “taken over” by protesters. About 1,000 people were inside the building and 6,000 joined them after rushing previously locked doors, according to a statement from the Department of Administration.
Police were concerned about protesters’ physical safety with overcrowding, especially on the Capitol’s second floor bridges, the statement said.
DOA spokesperson Tim Donovan said law enforcement officers attempted to prevent forced entry from happening but were unable to because of the large volume of people.
“We’re disappointed that people who have been very cooperative over the past three weeks were not cooperative tonight and entered the building against the court order,” Donovan said.
Madison resident John Severa held a State Street entrance door open for an hour and said people inside the building rushed to the entrance to push the doors open for protesters outside.
Police responded shortly after to try to barricade the door, but their attempts were unsuccessful. After several minutes, police retreated while protesters cheered.
And finally, Althouse blog brings some of the most telling video of the night. It includes speeches and chants, everything from “When I say ‘Walker’ you say ‘douchebag,’“ to ”Do whatever is necessary.” One man with a bullhorn even turns on AFL-CIO head Richard Trumka because he might not authorize a massive strike:

Posted on March 10, 2011 at 8:58amThis is only a small microcosm of what Obama wants to happen across the nation. Then he can declare Martial Law and become the first American Dictator. We the people have until 2012 to figure out what is happening. If we don’t clean house in the Congress, Senate and the Oval Office, If our gutless politicians don‘t rein in the power of these Communist funded unions and the union membership doesn’t sit down and realize they have been robbed of their union dues to foster Communism and aid in turning America into a dictatorship, then GOD HELP AMERICA.

Posted on March 10, 2011 at 6:37pmYUP….you got it right. Obama is just waiting to declare marshall law. It is HIS cronies that have started and spurred on the union brats and their temper tantrum. Let me list a few of them here just incase anyone doubts what is really going on and who’s behind it: Trumka, Van Jones, and Andy Stern.
If it were up to me, I’d post a German Shepherd or better yet a Rottweiler police dog at each entrance
Report Post »and warn the mob of BRATS…”Anybody gets out of hand, breaks the law, forces entry, or shoves any officers or congressional leaders here, and I will turn the dog loose and they can argue with him! These are the hours; abide by them or talk to the dog!”

The way I see it, most Germans were relatively happy with Hitler (that is, until Germany started losing the war.) They turned a blind eye to what he was doing with Jews and dissidents. Germans had never really experienced a free repubic, as they were used to the Kaiser before that, and they took pride in Germany‘s renewed war victories and Hitler’s nationalist prowess.
What you describe was truer in Stalin’s case, IMO.

If I were in charge and watching these tapes I would have issues with what is a failure of the police to do their job. Yes I have family in Law Enforcement and fully understand what they can do if they wanted to.
The protesters have a right to protest I fully support that effort as long as it is done lawfully. Once someone breaks the law they have become a “criminal” and no longer a peaceful America expressing their right to protest. The officers in question should be charged with failing to do their job, being they were so called “with” the protesters over the last couple weeks only shows they have somewhat support of their cause. The law is the law and if someone cannot enforce they need to be removed end of story.

Anarchy does not mean in ANY fashion what foolish people have been fallaciously led to believe for generations.
Anarchy does NOT mean Chaos. P.E.R.I.O.D.
Anarchy does NOT mean Lawlessness. P.E.R.I.O.D.
Anarchy does NOT mean Disorder. P.E.R.I.O.D.
Anarchy does NOT mean Confusion. P.E.R.I.O.D.
All the “descriptions”, meanings, and definitions listed above, were added to the TRUE meaning of the word HUNDREDS of YEARS AFTER the term was coined and defined. The added definitions were added by governements and people that did/do NOT believe people have either the ability nor right to live free and in accordance with their own beliefs, morals, and opinions.
Here is the TRUE meaning of Anarchy:
Cicra 1530-40 EXACT date unknown – The absence of all DIRECT or COERCIVE government as a political ideal and that proposes the COOPERATIVE and VOLUNTARY association of individuals and groups as the principal mode of ORGANIZED society.
Test what you have been taught. Re-learn what you know.
Fact –
Some people will ask for and be given the answers. Then they will rely on and believe in that answer till death do them part. Those people will NEVER know Truth or Reality.
Some people will ALWAYS seek the answers for themselves. They will ALWAYS find the Truth and Reality.
Those that truely believe they can not govern themselves, are the ones that should be locked up OR disposed of in another manner, for the benefit of ALL man-kind.

Posted on March 10, 2011 at 1:32pmKasman, the protestors are acting in a manner that is anarchist in nature. They have objectified and honored a group of people that have obfuscated their duties to the people. They have reinforced an ideology that has taken democracy out of the state and have now made death threats to those doing their jobs. That is called anarchy. Your assault on my intelligence is not only wrong but also shows your inherent lack of understanding of context. Tell you what though cupcake you try again because this is fun.

I strongly urge you to study your history. What you’re speaking of is left wing/communist anarchy and/or chaos, which people don’t realize is not the only definition of anarchist/anarchy. The right wing anarchist movement is the polar opposite, they do not threaten or act violently, they believe in property rights, they do not reject rules they simply reject imposed hierarchies. They were criticized at the turn of the 20th century by the left wing hooligans as being too peaceful and unwilling to shed blood or destroy property. The term at the time for them was, I believe, “Individualist Anarchist” or something close to that.
Heck friend, there were even peaceful left wing anarchists once upon a time (The Oneida colony comes to mind). What happened of course is that the progressive movement co-opted the name “anarchist” just as they did with “liberal”. Their version of both of these concepts became what most think of today as the *only* definitions.
There are still remnants of right wing anarchist movements around today, which are wholly peaceful and whose members tend to bathe with regularity, anarcho-capitalists come to mind here.

Posted on March 10, 2011 at 2:47pmWell ghost that was the point I was making, protesting is every bit democratic in nature and I supported their right to do so. I supported it when I served in the military and I supported it in Madison even though I didn’t agree with the message. But now that they have turned to destroying property and leaving death threats it has entered the realm of anarchy.

I’m just a bit of a stickler I guess. Since anarchy does not necessarily equate to violence or chaos, I generally try to go with “chaos”. Probably just a “me” thing. :)

Posted on March 10, 2011 at 3:01pmNo, this is exactly what democracy looks like. ie. mob rule. This is precisely why we are not a democracy, but rather a Constitutional Republic. Rule of law, not mob rule. This is why the Founders never used the term “democracy”.

Posted on March 10, 2011 at 3:20pmHaven’t read all of the comments below, but it seems apparent that a majority of the people in the videos are very young (students by chance?) and/or the unemployed having a grand old time pretending (or auditioning?) to be anarchists. Furthermore, does anybody else notice that these people universally tend to look alike — unkempt, self-absorbed and please forgive such brutal honesty, rather homely? Are these the characteristics of people who tend to gravitate to such activities OR are they a description of people perhaps bored, ignored, and who either by choice or default, have absolutely nothing more interesting to do with their time and lives? Sure looks like a grand social event for misfits.

Posted on March 10, 2011 at 4:06pmHeck, Ghost, please stop dusting the annals of philosophic anarchism. Nobody gives a d@mn about past or present political theories that never made a dent in world history. In politics, ideas are irrelevant until they are put into action. In practice, anarchism surfaced as an offshoot of COMMUNISM, fathered by Mikhail Bakunin (who, in turn, inspired others like the famous Bonnot Gang and our own Chicago thugs). Following are some of the high-profile assassinations committed by anarchists in the past:
William McKinley, president of the United States
Humbert I, king of Italy
George I, king of Greece
Marie François Sadi Carnot, president of France
(Encarta, 2008)
Anarchists are not really anti-govt. — liars — they are anti-capitalist revolutionaries. Recently, anarchists joined forces with the COMMIE-INFESTED UNIONS to riot in Europe. This quote from early 20th-century American anarchist and community organizer Lucy Parsons is very telling:
==>”My conception of the strike of the future is not to strike and go out and starve, but to strike and remain in and take possession of the necessary property of production.”
That sounds too harsh, so they also employ zany propaganda to attract the young, which is why you always see students involved in their riots: http://www.youtube.com/user/anarchophilia
Sound familiar? That describes modern-day anarchism, and it is the connotation we should be concerned about these days — not some undefined “chaos,” as anarchism is more commonly viewed.

Posted on March 10, 2011 at 5:48pmIn the National Guard, we had civil unrest/riot control training. This is it. An oak stick in the kidneys, with very little force, most of it applied by the protester, would achieve fantastic results. You simply placed the riot control stick up to the kidney and let them back up to it. They changed their minds quickly. If not, you brained them with it until they dropped. One way or the other you put the riot down. PUT THE RIOT DOWN!!!

Posted on March 11, 2011 at 3:06amIt all boils down to one thing with these union members….money. It‘s not about workers rights because workers in this nation have wonderful rights whether they’re in a union or not. It all has to do with their right to have great pay and incredible benefits for a lackluster work effort where it would take an act of congress for one of them to be fired. If you had this deal you too would protest……the gravy train is over and they just won’t accept it. Co-dos to Gov. Walker and the Republican legislators for doing what the people want, not what the unions want. The people of Wisconsin are taking their state back from the unions and the union controlled politicians! Ohio is next followed by a slew of other states…….and just think, this all started with the Tea Party and good folks like you and me seeing our country being flushed by the hand of progressives. America will be great again!

Posted on March 11, 2011 at 6:15amCan’t the UNION organisers be arrested for all of this?
Many years ago I had a boyfriend who was a union organiser, someone damaged a car during a strike, and HE was arrested and spent 6 weeks in jail because the police said since HE was THE organiser, HE was RESPONSIBLE. These union THUGS need to be ARRESTED and made responsible for ALL the CRIMES committed during the past 3 weeks.
NO KIDDING! THEY SHOULD BE ARRESTED. Even though many of these stupid idiots were probably students of Joel Rogers at U of W.

Posted on March 11, 2011 at 7:36pmI agree. A land of two different reasons for enforcing the rule of law, one for the Dem-Rats and Anarchist/Socialist, and another set for the Independents/Republicans/Conservatives. These crazies should have been aborted back in the 80‘s from their parents of the 60’s. Of course with the AFL/Cio and SEIU plus the other Muslim Brotherhood gangs, surely the law is on their sides. Never in my 70 years have I seen such blatant exhibitions of anarchy in the USA. What kind of animals are we mutating into pray tell.
