This morning it was announced that CNN contributor Marie Colving died in the government’s bombing of a Syrian city. Colving was killed in Holms by shelling shortly after reporting the extremely sad and shocking story of a Syrian baby — exemplifying one of many — who was dying of shrapnel wounds.
(Related: CNN contributor killed in Syria shelling — hear her final report)
Appearing on Keeping Things Honest hosted by Anderson Cooper, the graphic footage of a 2-year-old who fought to breath during his last moments of life shows, what Cooper notes, is evidence that the government is not just attacking armed gangs and terrorists, as it has been claiming.

Watch the footage that Colving said she felt strongly should be shown (Warning: Video shows graphic content of the wounded toddler as it is dying):
After showing this footage, Cooper hosted Colving on the phone. See that clip, which was her last report, where she shares her perspective of what is going on in the country here.

Posted on February 23, 2012 at 1:53pmMy prayers for the poor child and the surviving family members. Everyday I pray for peace on earth yet man is a vicious animal and very cruel. Soon this video will represent the norm of life on earth as the world burns out of control around our ears. Only we can stop this, quit being controlled and fooled by the powers that be. Take the blue pill or the red pill and prepare for a bumpy ride. May the child rest in peace and God be with him.
Now this is the face of war and beware this is what OWS wants to visit upon our nation. Evil truly walks the earth clothed in human flesh. Pray, prepare and hope for the best.

Posted on February 23, 2012 at 11:52amIntelligence is not enough. Emotions are the trigger that gets the ball rolling. How do you trigger emotions?
Me, I don’t like scary movies where for two hours people get torn up because they are ill prepared or stupid before overcoming the monster. Likewise I did not watch this video. It is pointless. So many people die because of stupidity like this that a person would be on a crying jag all day every day. I refuse to be sad because of this. there are too many & it will repeat itself like man made famine in Africa. I could give a whole year’s wages gladly if it would fix the problem. But it won‘t therefore I won’t give 1 cent.
I also refuse to get involved, because whenever a Republican leader Bush I or Bush II), the disloyal opposition raise holy hell, but when a Democrat is in power then people like Samantha Powers espouse R2P.
Well, where is R2P when the Coptic Christians need it? Where was R2P during 2009 Iranian spring.
Screw all tards that work for the mainstream media who try to pull on our heart strings.
As soon as we get in there, the untutored media tards (unschooled in military science) will be telling the military what to do, which will increase our casualties. Then they will complain about the increased casualties. Screw the MSM media tards

Posted on February 23, 2012 at 12:30pm@WALKABOUT: The likes of Murdoch and the true owners of this country are pulling the strings of the media and in turn pulling ours. (See this vid for a short synopsis of what I and George Carlin think: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BXWzSwZ_wPs )
I think that this story was really meant to desensitize us to the horrors of war because our govt. knows we’re about to go to war with Iran. I think they want us to come to the conclusion that we have enemies ‘out there’ so we need to ‘get ’em first’.
As a USAF vet, we need to bring our troops home. I’m sick and tired of the warmongering. I’m especially sick and tired of the sheeple here and everywhere who simply regurgitate the rhetoric they hear and see on the MSM.

What is even more awful is that WE think we don’t do this to thousands of kids when we start bombing countries, cities, homes of people. We call is ‘collateral damage’ and the F‘n media doesn’t show any of the kids we shred with bombs. God forbid WE would do that to anyone right? Wrong…

Posted on February 23, 2012 at 10:44amAs you watch this chilling video, say a prayer for the child, the family and the many people around the globe who are under the rule of tyrants. We are America! Fighting this sort of eveil is EXACTLY what we are supposed to do. Drop a SEAL team, send in a couple of stealth jets, launch some cruise missles and knock that bastard Assad out of power! Enough! If you can turn away and simply hide behind “America can‘t be the world’s cop”, then get out of the way of people who can make a difference. Get used to seeing more of this as that entire region of the world implodes on Obama’s “do nothing” watch. Maybe Obama is letting this happen so he has something else to apologize for on his next world tour. Don’t forget to thank God (and America’s military) for your safety and hug your kids!

Tell me again how people are protesting against the oppressive Israeli government and are not being antisemitic. Explain to me how apartheid can exist in a country where Arabs are allowed to vote, to take part in the government and are assured freedom of religion. Explain to me how the Syrian government can murder it’s own citizens daily and you are not outraged. Now go to a mirror and say hello to a hypocrite.

We make up these words like collateral damage, blue on blue, fratricide, renditon because the truth is ugly. Soldiers need names like these to help soften the reality of war and be able to do their duty.
It is sad this infant was killed. I question why the video was even placed in the article. There is no vicarious pleasure in watching death.
I believe Jesus. These little innocent souls will immediately join the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. I happen to believe that this applies to all infants and murdered fetus without consideration of what faith the parent are.

I am very aware that the middle east is tinkering on the edge of the abyss; and when they do finally take the plunge, the rest of the world will go with them unwilling. I understand what you’re trying to state, I disagree with you. Those who don’t have a clue by now, will not get by watching a twisted video of a 2yr old die. The only way IMO that people will get a clue is for another 9/11 event to occur here; and even that may not wake people up. I believe that most of the people that participate on this site are informed of what’s going on; and although we disagree on the finer points we get the big picture.

The Blueprint had been drawn in 1996 by three of Bush’s top national security advisors, Richard Perle, Douglas Feith, and David Wurmser (All Jews) who were working for conservative pro-Israel think tanks. The centerpiece was the removal of Saddam Hussein as the first step in remaking the Middle East into a region friendly, instead of hostile, to Israel.

He was being raised to be an eternal enemy of Western Civilization and the God of the Bible. And for what it is worth, we are on the side of the regime there, they are better than Al Qaeda linked Islamic extremists. Because of the evil Muhammad and the evil religion he made up, there is no way to have a peaceful country of Muslims without a hard ruler killing to keep the Muslims subdued. When you hear those crazy Muslim wenches crying out loud like that it is because their religion offers no comfort, and they know they are all going straight to Hell when they die.

Posted on February 24, 2012 at 8:45amSo the kid sort of hit the lottery. Since most people seem to believe that babies get an automatic pass to Heaven (though some Muslims believe that infidel children go to Allah heaven as servants to Muslims) this kid would seem to fall into that category. But if he had lived long enough to shift out of the Kid Auto Pass stage (at who knows what age) he would have been a Muslim, since he would have had NO CHOICE in the matter, and HIS OWN MOTHER would have killed him if he had “chosen” to not be a Muslim. And at that point, as a Muslim, he would have most assuredly gone straight to Hell upon his death. So all those crying tears over this, get it straight, you should be very very happy for the kid, he dodged a bullet with eternal consequences.
