Video Shocker: ‘Spaniard Spring?’ Police Clash With Protesters

Are we on the cusp of experiencing a “Spaniard Spring?” In true Middle Eastern style, protesters took to the streets to demand employment, economic solvency and “real democracy.” The Washington Post reports that the situation turned ugly when police told the citizens who had gathered in Barcelona’s main square that they had to clear out.

The communists, marxists and socialists will come to your house looking to take your food. Not literally in the beginning, but certainly, in the end. The 3 aforementioned groups (et al) only know how to take, not make.
When the dollar fails and we default, the welfare recipients will last a week, at best, before they are roaming surrounding communities. Our local Police Departments will be overwhelmed, or busy defending their own homes and families. Can you see a Police State where the National Guard is called in? I can. Do you see that it is possible that the National Guard becomes Federalized and used against the citizens?
That is when the oath that you and your brothers took will define which side the troops are on. Seems like 20% at most would follow an illegal order. Yes, I mean an illegal order from the CIC.
How about a military coup? Think about that for a while.
These scenarios are all possible in my world, in fact, it has happened before.

The US Constitution stands alone, above all other forms of government. Hopefully our police and military will be able to see an illegal order when given to them.
What happened in Spain was ordered by a socialist government. The people in Spain are beginning to see their voting error. The danger is to politicize the police actions in Spain and to make ANY comparison to our police. You mentioned the 2 tour marine who was shot 60+ times by a swat team.
Please do not make a comparison yet, follow the story and (I hope) the details will prove the swat team acted properly, despite the apparent fact the marine was shot 60+ times.
We are living in a period of history that will be studied with great interest in the future, long after we are all gone.
The libs/dems don’t get it at all. The Republicans barely get it. The commies/progs/marxists/socialists want it.

I agree wholeheartedly, with the possible exception that our flash point might be Los Angeles, with sporadic fires across the country in various heavily populated urban centers. Detroit and that area most certainly is going to be near the top of the list.

At what point the US is affected depends, I believe, on the economic situation. If the economy continues to fall this year to seriously low levels, then not long afterward austerity measures will be enacted in a last gasp effort for the city, state and federal governments to save themselves, right along with increased taxes on every conceivable government service, including an attempt to write millions of dollars in traffic tickets to increase revenue. There will be tax revolts. Racial riots also.
Tom Chittum, in his book, Civil War II, published in 1996 describes the coming chaos and is eerily accurate in what has evolved in this country for the last 15 years. He’s been SO accurate to this point, what he has to say about the coming situation can’t be ignored.
