Shocking Video: Father, Son Thrown From Truck During Head-On Collision…And Survive!

Close your door if you’re at work and about to watch this, because you will scream out loud.

What you’re about to see is nothing short of amazing. In a video dated 8/14/2011 — Sunday — a white van can be seen driving down the highway when, all of a sudden, a small truck appears out of nowhere and smashes head-first into the van. The driver of the truck can be seen flying through the air, after being thrown out of the window, and landing on the concrete. Miraculously, he immediately gets up as if nothing happened.

But then you notice something else. As he dusts himself off, he walks over to a child who is face-down on the pavement and picks him up:

It’s unclear where the incident occurred, although the people filming are not speaking English and the car that comes into view near the end has a foreign license plate.

According to the video posting on Break.com, the father and son survived. Buzzfeed adds that two were treated for only minor injuries.

I have a 4 year old son and praise God that boy was okay. Thank you Jesus and I hope the father and son have an encounter with you after that drastic accident.

Well I have read a few posts and I would like to address a few of the comments:

    1) Why didn’t they wear seat belts? Well it is obvious they live in a country that has more freedoms than we do here in the US. That’s why they did wear seat belts.

@) It was dumb luck they lived. No actually it was the hand of God. Watch it in slow motion and realize that there is a God and you will see miracles at work.

    That’s all folks, carry on.

The rest of the world does not always have the concept of vehicle safety that we have.

I went on a mission trip years ago to Nicaragua and the family I stayed with had a small mitsubishi pickup that had 2 wicker chairs in the bed, and a metal rack over the bed that the kids would hang from like monkey bars while driving.

Buses were packed beyond standing room and often had people standing on the back bumper.

A lot of the world is kind of where America was in the 1950′s when it comes to automobile safety. How many of you remember standing with your face by the windshield or laying on the rear package tray as a kid?

They ever hear of seat belts?
They could have flown to the ‘other’ side of the road and become speed bumps.
    I never drive without mine.

I like it when people say “the car came out of nowhere” o_O Um. Well clearly as the car approached it started to spin out with the rear tires breaking loose and since the driver failed to counter-steer the car crossed into the path of the white van. It was no miracle they all survived. It was dumb luck. The laws of physics are ruthless and in this rather rare case they worked in favor of the incompetent driver and his passenger. When he picked up the child he immediately walked toward the smoking wreckage. Most likely he shouldn’t be operating a motor vehicle after this display.

Ok, for all those who find it necessary to bash The Blaze for bringing stories like this to their site, do you remember all those times you said things like, well, if the athiest don’t like the 10 Commandments being at the Courthouse, then they don’t have to look at them? This is the same thing. You don’t have to click on the story and look at it! The Blaze has the God-given right to post any story it wants on its site and if you don’t want to see it, don’t!

To say it is head on is inaccurate, however, the film is not a fake. The vehicle where the passengers are thrown is sliding out of control just prior to the collision. The van actually struck the front quarter panel of the passenger side.

I can understand it’s not a political piece you want to read. Fair statement.

Yet having a bit of variety, politics as well as some social content helps break up the monotony.
There’s plenty of political news here too, so simply absorb that and don’t view this kind of non political news.

This occurred in Russia. Correction to the story above: The child is FACE UP as you can see him stretching his arms up to the sky (probably wailing for his parents). There were four people in the car. The wife and other child were not ejected.

The reason that somebody had a dash cam is that many people in Russia have installed them due to the horrific traffic accident rates there. It’s insane. Go look at Live Leak (.com), do a search for Russian accidents, and you’ll see what I mean. This same video was posted there. Be warned, though… the comments on Live Leak are extremely volatile. Racist (both sides), sexist, cruel, uncaring, obscene. Luckily you don’t have to see the comments just to watch the videos there.

From tragic car wrecks, to war footage, to riots/vandalism/etc…. they have it all. Many times, they will have the events and video before the main stream media even knows what is happening at all.

BTW, your name and your snide comment about the comments here at the Blaze reveal your agenda.

Whoever “writes” the headlines needs to look into a dictionary. “Shocking” implies profound surprise to a NEGATIVE event. “Amazed”, as the actual story uses, is a much more appropriate description.

I guess many people on here are not aware of dash cams. All police vehicles have them and people are installing them on their own cars for insurance purposes. Some of you may want to remember that the next time you think of driving like a nut; somebody may be recording.

There’s rampant fraud over there, from what I understand these cameras are for insurance purposes. A common tactic is for a car to blow past you and slam on the brakes causing you to rear end them, the fraudsters then get out of the car and accost the innocent driver and try to “settle” it out by extorting money rather than filing an insurance claim.

I have a dash cam installed in my truck. Dash cams are beginning to appear in many vehicles. I spent $350.00 on mine and it records in a two hour loop. If the cam senses any type of impact, it records for the next 10 minutes and then stops. It saved me 4 months ago when a teenage girl blew through a stop light. If it were not for my dash cam, it would have been a he said/she said situation. Naturally, the girl told the police that she had the green and boy was she adamant!!!!!!! I pulled the sim card from the dash cam and showed the police… Case closed. She was written a ticket and HER insurance covered the $6,350.00 damage to my new truck! That $350.00 paid off very nicely in the 6 months I owned it!

Because this happens in Missouri everyday. Usually a tree jumps out in front of you just to see the supprised look on your face. The law requires you stay within 6 feet of the car ahead of you. Odd place to drive.
