Shocking Video: Man Allegedly Sets Himself on Fire in Amsterdam

The video is almost unbelievable, but it’s supposedly real.
The Dutch news site DutchNews.nl reports a man set himself on fire in central Amsterdam near a war memorial. It says the man got in an argument with some English-speaking tourists and warned them to stay away. He apparently “spoke Dutch with a ‘foreign accent’ and appeared to be disturbed,” site says. Police are not releasing any information on his condition.
Video of the incident has been posted on YouTube purportedly showing the incident. That video’s description, translated from Dutch, explains: “A man has this morning for the national monument in Dam Square, on fire. Bystanders tried to extinguish flames with their coats. The man was rushed to the hospital. WARNING: SHOCKING IMAGES .”
As the description says, the images are shocking, so here’s the CONTENT WARNING:

If it doesn’t kill then the recovery is horriffic. I am confused. If it is as Snow said what would it be in retaliation to?
