CNN:
Washington (CNN) — Shots were reported fired Friday night between the White House and the Washington Monument, setting off a flurry of law enforcement activity, a U.S. Park Police spokesman said.
The incident was reported shortly after 9 p.m., according to Sgt. David Schlosser, spokesman for the Park Police. Responding officers found an abandoned vehicle in the vicinity of the reported incident and were searching it “trying to figure out what happened.”

According to HuffPost’s Mike McAuliff, a law enforcement source says that the Secret Service saw the incident and put out a description on the two vehicles. One of the cars was abandoned at 23rd Street NW and Constitution Avenue, near the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge and the State Department. An AK-47 was recovered at the scene. Witnesses also reported seeing someone running across the Roosevelt Bridge.
The source does not believe the shots were directed at the White House, speculating that it was probably an issue between the two vehicles.

And if THAT doesn’t work more laws restricting the ability to illegally use banned weapons will be needed. Sooner or later the criminals will get the message that we mean business and that crime is not allowed.
The interesting thing would be to see how many people can read that and not see anything wrong in it.

Had a friend who lived in MD near the DC line, had to go around a block, one street was in DC. He had a Marlin Glenfield .22 rifle in his gun rack. He spent 3 days in the DC penal system and never saw his gun again.
Does anyone really think that outlawing “assault rifles” will solve the gun problem?
Remember Obumbler told Sarah Brady that he was working to outlaw guns “behind the scenes”.

Finally, years later they are very wealthy and successful. I ask you are they part of the 1% or did they follow their dreams and used capitalism to the fullest. There are thousands of Americans who did it this way.
The real figure if you must know is 1% for greedy, 30 % wealth hardworking generous, 40% middle class 20% keeps making the same mistakes over and over, getting in their own way 9% low lifes dirt bags.

There is nothing strange and confusing about the story. It is just incomplete because either the the investigation is ongoing and all facts and evidence have not been gathered, or not all of the information has been released to the press.
