Posted on October 29, 2010 at 5:32amI have been saying – Grijalva was just called the NUMBER 1 PROGESSIVE in a toss-up race. Getting these worst progressives OUT of office is as imporatant as electing the right candidates. In this case his opponent is the right candidate.
McClung is a ROCKET SCIENTIST with real solutions to fix this district – which happens to be the biggest whole in our southern border. This is the district with signs that say “STOP – DRUG AND HUMAN SMUGGLING” Grijavla has Chicago-SEIU henchmen here trying to steal this election.
We are not in this district, but my wife has volunteered to get out the vote. She will be calling people from Tucson to Yuma on Tuesday to see if they have voted. McClung NEEDS organizational help badly.

There are things that everyone will disagree on because of ideology, but there are also things that every single American DOES agree on. As much, as is this is going to shock people, Glenn Beck and Jon Stewart are the only people who have expressed anything remotely related to this view. Do not focus on issues that cause division. DO the things that everyone agrees on and do them immediately.
We do not want a Pledge TO America. We want a Pledge FOR America.
Term Limits: We cannot have an efficient government when our representatives are acting to extend their political careers rather than acting in the best interest of the country. This seems like common sense, and every single American believes this. Why has this not been done? There is not reason why this has not occurred. How can there not be 30 minutes to vote on something as simple as this? This is blatant disregard for what is good for the country and also what is desired by the people.
Campaign Finance Reform: Again, another seemingly obvious issue. Money has corrupted this system. Money influences politicians to act in a way that enhances their relationships with the largest donors to extend their careers. Subsequently they are not acting in the best interest of the country. It’s simple. Running for the Senate? Fixed amount of campaign funds for each candidate. Running for House of Representatives? Fixed amount of campaign funds for each candidate. Running for President? Fixed amount of campaign fund for each candidate. There is not one legitimate reason why this has not been done in Congress. The people want this, and it’s what’s good for the country. We want our candidates to run on the issues. Not on who has the most money for ads. Find 30 minutes to vote on this issue and for once do something you were actually voted into office to do.
Ban on Earmark Spending: Money, Money, Money, Money, Money. We the people do not want money to effect decisions that affect our lives. We do not support waste. Earmark spending does not serve any constructive purpose and again is a mechanism that causes division within this country. It’s easy, NO EARMARK SPENDING. ZERO EARMARK SPENDING. Please find 30 minutes to vote on this issue and for once do something we actually want and need.
Ban on Lobbyists: To have to explain why this activity is not illegal is astonishing. More unbelievable is the fact that politicians are the ones who utilize it. The same politicians entrusted to govern our country. Politicians accepting money can never be justified. They are suppose to vote on OUR behalf. Take the money out of the government and corruption will be reduced. You serve because it is an honor to serve your country. You vote to enhance the wellbeing of our country. You do not vote because of contributions from businesses, individuals, foreign governments, Wall Street, or to advance agendas. Again, must we really ask for this to be done? Please find 30 minutes to vote on this issue. There is no need to delay. It’s simple NO LOBBYIST IN GOVERNMENT.
In two hours, you can accomplish something that every single American will support. In two hours, you can deliver the CHANGE that we actually want. There is no reason this cannot and should not be done. This is what should be done. Our country is divided. Issues that cause disagreement may take months and years to compromise. Every single one of you should FOCUS on these issues. These changes could be done INSTANTLY, and every single American would support them. We do not want to hear political jabs. We do not want to hear about Republicans being racist. We do not want to hear about Democrats being socialist. We want you to do your jobs. The fact these changes are so obvious and have not been implemented are astounding.

So many who believe in the reforms you talk about, sadly, are disconnected. They work, get home, help with homework, cook, grocery shop, pay bills, go to support sports, mow the lawn, Chase children, do laundry, attend to their spouse, attend to a parent, do dishes, feed pets, get clothes ready, make breakfast, clean house, give hugs, fix boo boos, referee!
I compose this list (barely complete to everything) for an important reason. Let’s see, thirty minutes, that’s bath time, load of laundry, food if you get a chance to eat.
Now, the kicker! Why do all of you think its important to talk about politics? I was taught, never discuss politics or religion. Why? It’s decisive and creates enemies.
That said, it is time to talk, share, educate. Do it calmly, passively, with fact, decency, honor and vision.
I grew my Passion for following politics over a period of being off work. If not for the time available…I would be the person described above.
The people need us. We don’t have unions, Soros, tides, tanked media…we have one another.
United we stand…decided we fall. Help our neighbors. Help ones with time to help others. Don’t allow these atrocities…revoke the status of these “managers of America in decline” and replace them with people who have the Passion for the American dream.

Posted on October 29, 2010 at 9:36amOur truck was keyed last week, which we’re convinced was a result of a window decal urging folks to vote on 11/2 to take back our country. My husband was parked in front of our local Walgreens, five feet from a busy road at noon on a week day, no other cars parked on that side of the parking lot. He was in the store for 5 minutes, only one other shopper was in the store (an older lady). The perp must have acted as if they were inserting their key into the lock so not to draw attention to the other vehicles passing by but actually made a huge “s” like scratch, which went all the way to the metal. We live in a semi small southern town which is normally extremely civil so we’re floored at the incident; and yes the left is coming unhinged!
