Simpsons Again Mocks Fox News Viewers: ‘Unsuitable for Viewers Under 75’

A week after calling Fox News Viewers “racist,“ ”The Simpsons” has come out again against FNC viewers, this time saying that the channel is “unsuitable for viewers under 75”:

Simpsons Again Mocks Fox News Viewers: Unsuitable for Viewers Under 75

(via Business Insider)

After the last episode, Bill O’Reilly spoke out. We’ll see if he has anything to say about this one.

The Simpsons is a comedy, a cartoon.
Honestly, it’s always funny. They’ve been taking jabs at Fox for two decades now…and Fox still owns them.
The writers are cashing in on current events, nothing more.
The idea that the show is somehow liberal is beyond stupid, they make fun of everybody! White, Black, Rich, Poor, Upper Class, Cletus… EVERYBODY.
I laughed when I saw it…and I’m 28, highly intelligent, and watch Fox News EVERY DAY.
I come to the Blaze as one of few decent sources for REAL news.
Sadly, I find so many readers here OFFENDED by a cartoon…the very thing most Conservatives and Libertarians stand against….the idea that the P.C. Police could/should dictate who a cartoon can make fun of is ridiculous.
Laugh or turn the channel…either way, no one should be offended by a cartoon.

So far I haven’t seen anybody try to tell us that they should not be allowed to SAY anything. The fact that you are 28 and “highly intelligent” says it all to me anyway. If you can’t see the indoctrination of liberal values just proves the point that you are blind to the creeping value system that has been forced on this country. You have probably watched this and other shows like it for many years… so much so that your concepts of “family comedy” leave a bit to be desired for prime time. Nobody is saying they shouldn’t be allowed to produce the show. Funny? Sophomoric humor is a much better description.

I’ve watched about 10 episodes of this progressive, propaganda laden show in my life. Couldn’t stand it. Not going to miss it. It always seems that when a program or show starts aggressively doing this, the demise isn’t far behind. It was ok when they dealt in generalities, but when they get specific…UH…Houston, we got a problem. Again when liberals know something about themselves, they make a spectacle out of it and blame it on someone or something else. I’ll translate: “The Simpsons–Unsuitable for Viewers Under 75.” The progressive liberals know it and we know it.

The more you respond to them, the more they’ll poke at you. I suspect that some agent of their writers monitors sites like this looking for a “score!”. If they get that “score!” then they’ll push more. It’s simple folks, just ignore them and they’ll go away.

Personally I think a lot of the Simpsons episodes are funny, some not so much. I just can’t take most “comedy” seriously, because if I did I’d be declaring that my life philosophy can be harmed by clowns.

Matt Groening (sp?) got his start (as I remember) penning putrid cartoons for Playboy Magazine in the 60′s. Every time over the years that I have attempted to watch the Simpsons on TV, I saw it as nothing other than a 30 minute show of the same thing. I suppose it appeals to the dumbed-down viewing population for “comedy” of today (I know I’ll get slammed for this one), but really, anyone enthralled with the innuendos and scripts of this show just wastes a lot of time. The show doesn’t speak to satire or age as much to IQ and $$$$$$.

Celebs are doing it, politicians are doing it, tv shows are doing it, pundits are doing it and we wonder why kids are bullying kids literally to death! When the Simpson come out years ago when my children were much younger, we never watched them because they were a horrible epitomy of the American family that was disgraceful and too close to the truth of it being sad that most men are not good leaders of their homes. Everybody Loves Raymond is another show that is shameful in it’s truthfulness of a shallow spineless husband that is self centered and selfish.

      @MRLOGAN3

Admittedly, I’ve not watched The Simpsons in about 6 years, but if I remember correctly, Homer hates going to church and routinely tries to get out of it. I’m reminded of one episode in which he sneaks a radio into church so he can listen to a football game while Lovejoy speaks.

Homer may be a Christian, but he ain’t exactly a shining beacon of Christianity.

And, should we count the amount of times the show makes fun of Ned Flanders? You know, the extremely religious dude living next door? The track record is clear — The Simpsons has been openly hostile to Christianity many, many times.

To be fair, they make fun of everyone under the sun nowadays, because it’s cheap and easy comedy… but they stopped being funny a long time ago. I miss the early episodes that were actually relevant and non-spiteful.

Where do your facts come from Lone-wolf? The UN was founded in 1945. That would make 10 to 15 year olds responsible for its creation and they would have been infants and toddlers to have created the policies in FDR’s New Deal. With the CIA they would only be a few years older than when they founded the UN, 12 to 17 years old. As far as the demographics of Fox – it has an average daily prime time audience in excess of 1.5 million which is more than MSNBC and CNN combined – that’s an awful lot of 75-80 year olds.

White Devil and Ummah – occasionally including a link in a post is not spamming. No one is forcing you to click on the link.

I for one enjoy seeing what other Blaze posters do. Just because you don‘t care for Snow’s art doesn‘t mean another poster’s site won’t be of interest. I would never have found BQI for example if he didn’t include a link in some of his posts.

I suspect you two may be left-leaning. Why? Because in my experience, if a liberal doesn’t like something, he doesn’t think anyone else should do it; whereas if a conservative doesn’t like something, he simply refrains for himself.
