Six $1 Million Lottery Prizes Won at Same Louisiana Gas Station

Six $1 Million Lottery Prizes Won at Same Louisiana Gas Station

AP

After Mega Millions mania engulfed the country last month, one Louisiana gas station defied all conventional lottery odds and sold six winning $1 million prizes this week.

According to Baton Rouge CBS affiliate WAFB-TV, a 52-year-old man spent six dollars on a lottery ticket in Watson, La., playing the same five numbers but choosing a different Mega Ball number each time and filling in the “multiplier” box.
He won three times for a total of $750,000, which quadrupled to $3 million when the correct multiplier ball dropped.

In a twist, WAFB reported the winning ticket was accidentally printed twice and bought by a second customer several hours later.

Lottery officials said the original customer claimed his winnings Wednesday, according to the station. The second ticket-holder has not yet come forward.

The winner should be careful. The next thing you know they’ll be mauled by a polar bear and a regular bear in the same day

How often do you think, “Hey I’ll take 3 chances on these 3 sets of same numbers, only changing the megaball. As I fill out my card, am so sure about them that I will add the extra dollar to multiply my winnings.?” Then somehow this card ACCIDENTLY gets run thru the machine again by the clerk? They are not able to cancel it, so they hope to sell it to someone or thru major accounting they MAY recover it. Personally, I have always thought the mob has run the lottory games, maybe this time someone just got a lil sloppy.

Luck… is the idea of an Improbable OutCome; Winning is about a Success… where others Fail; Lottery is about the Selecting a Limited number of Lucky Winners. So. a Lottery Winner is really no different from Selling the Winning Ticket… and it has nothing to do with Logic, Averages, nor Justice!

Well if the person before picked the winning numbers, and the ticket was accidentally reporduced and sold, shouldn’t it belong to the person who actually picked the numbers, because that person would not have chosen the same numbers, just saying…..

That is why I always buy any misprinted tickets when I buy mine. You never can tell. It hasn’t worked yet but I can still hope.

Although, I have a better chance of getting hit by lightning.

No, the money should be taken from the winner and given to all the people who lost. We can not have winners in this society….we must spread the wealth…especially to losers.

The odds of this happening at the same gas station is higher than actually winning the lottery! It doesn’t pass the smell test!

Interesting statistical occurrence. Now if it happens again at the same place….then suspicion is relevant.

    Congratulations to both winners!

Lotteries are just as rigged as are the multitudes of slot machines in gambling establishments. They used to change the weighting in the reels of the old fashioned slot machines to get the payout results the house wanted. Nowadays they use computer algorithms and do the same thing but with greater ease. Sometimes there is a glitch and machines give a payout that was unexpected. Funny how the gaming commission here in Nevada almost always sides with the house against the players. It will be interesting to see the outcome here.

See, the actual man who had the number of a man Six hundred three score and six, has long since come and gone, and that number didn’t actually appear, but that it represents the fruit of the man. We are currently in the age of Satan deceiving people, and Satan is actually using the number 6, or 666, but it’s complete bull-crap, because Heaven and earth has faded away, and so people don’t even understand what 666 means, and so they throw the number around as if the number itself has meaning. Getting digitized money means nothing, and even getting a bar-code on your hand would mean nothing, because the mark in the forehead and hand has already happened long ago. It just means [ for who you do thinking for, and for who you do work for].

Let me put it this way: if you walk around saying to crucify the flesh, instead of saying that you ought to be crucifying a portion of your spirit, then you are all about the number ‘ 6.’

Six tickets, that’s interesting, and it was printed twice that’s even more interesting. So now someone is going to come forward with the duplicate, and the government will (oh too bad) be forced into deciding who the winner should be. Of course the reality is that the number “6” means nothing inasmuch as only a number. But people without understanding use the number six just as expected to indicate the sign of the times.

On a lot of these machines you can elect to let the machine chose the numbers. Apparently this one chose the same suite of numbers twice.

When programming is that sloppy on machines which handle something valuable such as millions of dollars, you have to fear the electronic voting machine.
