‘Six Hours in Greece’: Beck Sees ‘Scary Preview’ in Visit to Firebombed Mall

On tonight’s Glenn Beck Program, Glenn aired his documentary, “Six Hours In Greece.” In the clip below provided to GBTV, he visits a mall that had been firebombed by protesters.

Glenn had teased the documentary as “a scary preview of what could be coming to the rest of the world as socialism grows and spreads.” This clip does little to modify that assessment.

The segment opens with Glenn opining that the protesters are “either dumb as a box of rocks” or have “a different agenda” because a country that relies on its tourism industry won’t recover economically without institutions like malls, and tourists won’t journey to unsafe parts of the world. Yet despite this fact, forty-eight buildings were set on fire during last month’s riots.

Glenn also spends a sizable portion of the clip reviewing the scene of the crime with the head of a security company hired to guard the mall. What he finds resembles a horror movie set more than what one would expect to find in a country credited with being the cradle of civilization.

    Our Capitalist Society has no resemblance whatever to how it began. Capitalism has be scammed, fraud-ed and misrepresented so much that most people don’t even recognize it. They do recognize the slavery of Communist Socialism which is a total lie. All things cannot remain ‘free’ for very long. Someone else’s money eventually runs out…then starvation.     The fat cats on Wall St. definitely loot the country and are paid far, far in excess than what is justified for the knowlege and effort they contribute, but I want nothing even close to any system that gives more power to the government than it has now.

    However, trying to draw a happy medium between capitalism and unchecked government control will be impossible in this country.

    Add to that the fact that we are embroiled in a tribal fight among the multicultural masses over race, religion, politics, among many other things, and the outcome will be civil war.

    I sincerely believe it is inevitable. To those who disagree, I say to them just wait awhile and many examples will be furnished that will unequivocally point to that conclusion.

    A million words could be printed in support of that scenario, but it’s getting so close now all that is necessary to do is wait and watch. The situation will develop in living color.

      VERY well said, Robert. Collectivist/Socialist systems ONLY WORK if the GROUP is LIMITED and COHESIVE which means NOT MULTICULTURAL America has funded a growing Human Rights list for humans who CONTRIBUTE NOTHING ; that‘s why we’re BROKE. Now the wealthy Oligarchs who run the world have reduced the pie available and are making the last ditch money grab from the Peasants. Most of the world has NO successful middleclass who are the engines of democracy. The Scandinavian countries have made collectivist /socialist policies work for them BECAUSE their societies have little DIVERSITYand they can agree on WHAT constitutes COMMON SENSE. Our Gov has put EVERY plank in place to support totalitarianism. In the meantime, Americans are spouting hatred towards the “other” group(s) on every aspect of life: divide and CONQUER.

      The problem is that too many people still believe there should be compromise between the liberals and conservatives – but I ask, how do you compromise with an ideology that asks you to jump off a cliff? There is no compromise between capitalism and big socialized-seeking government.
      Capitalism may not be the best form of government, but it’s the best one this world has ever seen. Socialism fails almost every time.
      As far as the fat cats on wallstreet – the premise is good – helps little people like me make an investment in a company, and for my risk, I may make a few dollars – helping my income grow and with that growth, purchasing more items and spurring the economy,or having a retirement nestegg and not begging off the nation in my retirement. As far as the problems, well, inside trading is alive and doing well – and probably mostly with our congressmen who are making the laws and benefiting from their knowledge – that’s one fly in the ointment – but the system has more good than bad.
      As far as us Americans fighting each other for class, religion, race, etc., that doesn’t have to be. Once we get rid of those who benefit from warfare, we can become a nation without it. This admin has done more to instill hatred in the past 3 years than I’ve seen in my lifetime. The American people are the best in the world. We just have to remind ourselves of that – we have to fight against the media who dismisses all culpability of this admin – the left flip on this all amazes me.

      Politics has sold its sole for reelection and is unable to buy it back. In the end the Wall Street people who are shelling out the big bucks to bribe congressmen are going to find out what they have bought is not worth what they paid. When a Congress has lied so much to the American people one more lie to Wall Street won’t matter.

      I’ve never had a problem with Glenn Beck but after watching that clip he disguists me! I was born and raised in Athens and am now an American resident. First of all what did he expect to find at 4am in the heart of a metropolitan city… Church-goers and happy families? There is druggies and homeless people in every major us city 24 hours a day. Second, there have stray animals roaming around since I can remember. It has NOTHING to do with the economy. We just don’t round them up and euthanize them. And lastly, the only reason everything smelled so bad was because his nose was so close to where all the ******** was coming from. And by the way these lies/poor journalism probably hurt greeces GDP through tourism worst than any riot ever could.

    Great short film. Very insightful to our future if Obama’s policies are fully implemented. Even if the OWS gang have a strong comeback this summer.

    I can only hope that the Police Officials do not give them any footing, cracking down on the campers before they get a foothold.

      Problem for them IS, that they fail in their attempts to do so. I can NOT believe that the people of this world will let REVELATION 13 happen universally. It may happen in part, but I have to believe there will be OPPOSITION to this nefarious plan, and there will be wars over this… We will not go down without a huge fight against satanic forces when they bare their unholy arm, and try to seize control through the monetary system. Gold won’t help. Money won’t help. The only thing that will help is people becoming united so there can be a sub economy with real food, real needs taken care of.
