Small Businesswoman Rips Obama and Calls on Him to Apologize to America

As liberals have chosen to attack the validity of S &P‘s downgrade of the U.S. government credit rating, some in the business community are now telling Washington to stop pointing fingers and to start finding solutions.

Amilya Antonetti’s (Chairman and CEO at AMA Productions) went off on Fox News this morning, ripping into the politicians who‘ve gotten the United States into the economic mess we’re in now. With 13.9 million unemployed in July, Antonetti calls on the President to show true leadership and thank, not name-call, the businesses that have created jobs.

“He’s not going to be known as the first Black President, he’s going to known as the President who had a downgrade.”

      Wish he would go away and let business live! Downgrade? Duh! They told us a month ago we needed to cut 4t or we would get downgraded. They cut about half of that. No complicated math or finger pointing. 2 does not equal 4.

      I have come to the conclusion that BO has a plan and he is following it to a T… it is the Fox and Pivan plan to collapse the system so that he can rebuild it in his image. And he is using Sol Alinsky‘s process of getting people to oppose each other so that they can’t accomplish anything constructive. I believe it is his intent to “fundamently reform America” according to his image of what America should be. We may not have another presidental election if the unions do what they say they will do with the power of persuasion. In the meantime we have a lot of good people like Amilya calling it like it is to no avail.

      It’s chilling to see this president in such a happy-go-lucky mood while the country is imploding, both financially and socially.

      Seeing him display such a detached indifference to what is going on makes it obvious he just doesn’t care.

      His one and only real goal is the exact same one he had for his entire adult life, which is political activism on behalf of blacks and black causes. It is the reason he ran for president. He wanted a platform to do more of the same on a much broader level.

      If the people who voted for him don’t understand that by now, they’re really too naive and gullible to vote.

      Remember, they come HERE to learn medicine, not the other way around… and ALL of those countries with ‘universal state commanded health care’ are FAILING.

      Tifosa, u overran health-care doesn’t work. Loom at how long people have to wait just to get standard procedures. And god help you if you need an emergency surgery or something. You Sammy ivers health care then go somewhere that has it. Our healthcare system would be healthier and cheaper if the president would open up interstate competition and institute tort reform, and not this sociisy crap system that rations out the healthcare.       According to her own website, this woman is, “now the ‘Small Business Voice’ on Fox Business and a regular contributor on shows such as “Varney & Co. Nightly Scoreboard, The Willis Report.” No full disclosure here! She gets paid by FOX for her appearances for goodness sake (hello, try goggling her). You wouldn’t know that from reading the lead-in though would you? Do your research! She and FOX represent her as an “average small business owner” yet both fail to mention she’s paid to deliver her FOX friendly opinions. That’s one source of her income, maybe most of it. According to her website she employs “one to four” employees” so she really is a small, tiny, tiny, business owner. One to four?

      Forget that, she’s making her money as a TV personality. On FOX.

      Obama was handed stewardship of this great country, but not with my vote. He has been the most divisive president I have ever known. He is the president of ALL Americans, including the rich, the jet owners, and oil companies. He has declared his political opponents the enemy, has attacked ordinary citizens and businesses with all sorts of smears, used scare tactics on the elderly, and not knowing all the facts reached false and misleading conclusions.       Hey Billy. Sorry, but you are willfully ignoring the fact that she appeared on FOX as “a small business owner” when in fact she is paid by FOX, something she lists on her website as part of her curriculum vitae.

      Real news stations don’t present interviewees as “average citizens” when they are in fact paid employees of the station. You don’t have a problem with that because you agree with FOX, not matter what they say. But that’s not objective news, that’s yellow journalism, a term you know since you know what “two bit” means.

      Billy, please. This woman is presented as a “small business” owner and I’m sure she is. So is Ann Coulter. FOX and this website present her as a typical small business owner, and she herself suggests she speaks for the “business community.”

      Ignored is the fact that she is paid to go on FOX and present conservative views as “a small business owner.” She advertises that fact on her websites. However, in this apparently “straight news” segment, funny, they fail to mention she is paid contributor to FOX.

      I don’t have anything against this woman, although she said nothing of any substance in the interview, she just blamed Obama for everything. What I hate to see though is you getting duped. That‘s why I’m here. And like her, I’m wondering where my “thank you” is for all my effort.

That goes for any network, lib/prog/socialist/conservative… what ever. Could be wrong, but that is of little consequence. The lady said some things that have not been said before and stirred some excitement (disdain on your side). I saw the entire segment and do not even recall how she was introduced.       I believe the problem is some on the left and right actually believe there side is above making mistakes. We’re not going to make any headway with our countries problems until we put the parties aside and do what’s right. People should realize agreeing with JZS and the left does not discredit your conservative views, if he is correct, it gives you credibility assuming she is paid by FOX.       I still want to see some links.

      To use one of your lines, I may be slow, but I have been all through her site, and Facebook pages, and I do not see her touting this big relationship with FOX that you are claiming. She has been all over the tube for quite a while now, but her time on FOX is only a small portion.

      If you see them, it should be no problem posting the direct links, or the page addresses.

      Now, if someone is under contract or retainer to be a “Paid Pundit” is one thing, but as I understand it, “Guests” generally do not get paid.

      So is she under contract with FOX, or is she merely a frequent guest?

      Please show me the evidence to back up your claim that she most likely makes the bulk of her income from her FOX appearances.

      You just can’t go around making unsubstantiated claims like that. I know you are not a journalist, but that is kind of “yellow”

      The clip in question was on Cavuto’s business show, and he introduced her as the chairman & ceo of AMA Productions.

      So if she is under contract, you have a point. But you have to prove it.

      Just because, on her linkedin page, she touts herself to be the voice of small business on FOX, does not necessarily mean she is on their payroll.

      And, I do not agree with everything FOX. Far from it. Another assumption on your part.

      So going by your own link than all of United Kingdom, Japan, Brazil, China, France, Italy, Germany, Russia, Singapore, Israel, Australia, and New Zealand all of which have Universal Health Care are below the average of that in the US. Pretty good statistics to say that the US has a better health care system than those that have Universal Health Care I would say.

      But regardless how does having a happy life satisfaction qualify as a scale on which Health Care system is better? Besides now that Obama‘s Care has taken affect businesses have been firing people because they can’t afford the stupid system. So basically you really don’t have an argument but just like to think you do. Typical liberal progressives.

Every industrialized country in the world has some form of universal health care. That doesn’t make it good or bad, it’s just that those countries “take care of their own” like a family does.       I have to say, you sure have read between the lines and come up with manufactured jibberish. On health care: a poster equated a AAA credit rating with universal health care, which is just pure nonsense. I am not going to discuss Obamacare any more except to point out the free stuff comes first, but the taxes come conveniently after the election, and this from people that want taxes raised. Obamacare in short is a massive experiment in social engineering.
      On wealth: I take the stats with a grain of salt. I frankly think the government should not be involved. Nor should wealth buy influence. Unfortunately, we live in a highly immoral society, where even politicians of the highest level resort to exploiting the greed and envy that plague us all. Alas, I do not have a magic wand that would correct every thing. I have noticed, however, the wealthly tend to be liberals. The world is irrational!
      I really am not the monster you have pegged me out to be. I do like to tweak Libs from time to time.

      Does that mean I’m in the upper 1/3? I own my house, well, the bank and I own my house. My husband makes $15.50 an hour, we get retirement pay and my adult handicapped son gets SSI. We actually own a house and a half (co-own a house with my husband’s parents). We put the other house on the market 2 years ago when the housing market crashed, so we’ve been paying 2 mortgages. If you want to get rich, get off your butt and work for it. Come up with a plan, a product that someone wants and make it work. It’s nearly impossible these days.

Trying to string talking points into a meaningful sequence is doomed to failure. No, it does NOT follow that nationalized healthcare equals excellent financial status (just LOOK at the state of Europe currently!) It only means that they are considered to be doing a better job of managing their debt than we are, which is a sad statement. And it does not follow that if someone mentions Fox News among a long list of tv appearances, that they are being paid on a regular basis. I looked and looked trying to see what I missed and I just couldn’t find anything that said she was under contract or even a regular contributor. Not to mention, the original statement of this “fact” was disingenuous, as the original poster said it was on the cv at her site and then pointed to LinkdIn as his source. BTW, knowing what “curriculum vitae” means these days isn’t proof of superior intelligence. It’s akin to knowing what a blog is. Some Latin is still in common usage.

      If you took every small business owner, as I am, and put them on TV they would all say exactly what this woman said. No small to medium business owner in his right mind would do anything to expand when you have the Obamacare, NLRB, IRS and the EPA and it‘s many splinter groups making 100’s of policies a day on both small and big businesses. Just take the coal companies for example. The EPA will do everything to put them out of business and this country litterally DARK. Remember Obama’s statement that the energy prices would skyrocket.       It’s tough out here. Driving south on 95 after my Dad’s funeral on election day 2008 my husband and I realized ours, and all of our employees, lives were about to change drastically and at that moment changed gears in our business to survival mode. We are hanging in there…one of the few, the proud, the brave…small business in America. It‘s frustrating being regulated to death and told what is best for us by a mass of galoots who don’t know the difference between a 941, a W-9 and a W-4 much less a debit and a credit. These idiots couldn’t run a coin operated car wash with a robot. The general public would NOT believe the stories we could tell….
