As you read this, a four-day George Soros-funded conference featuring over 200 economists, finance experts, and scholars is underway in Bretton Woods, New Hampshire–the site of the 1944 meeting of world leaders that reordered the post-WWII economy by establishing the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund.

The purpose of this “new” Bretton Woods conference is “a grand bargain that rearranges the entire financial order,” to use Soros’ own words:

A new Bretton Woods conference, like the one that established the international financial architecture after World War II, is needed to establish new international rules, including treatment of financial institutions considered too big to fail and the role of capital controls. It would also have to reconstitute the International Monetary Fund to reflect better the prevailing pecking order among states and to revise its methods of operation.

In addition, a new Bretton Woods would have to reform the currency system. The postwar order, which made the U.S. more equal than others, produced dangerous imbalances. The dollar no longer enjoys the trust and confidence that it once did, yet no other currency can take its place.

The four-day conference started this afternoon and is being sponsored by the Institute for New Economic Thinking (INET), an organization with Soros ties.

The conference will have keynote addresses from Gordon Brown, the former prime minister of the United Kingdom, and Larry Summers, the former director of the White House’s National Economic Council. Soros also will be on hand.

Yesterday, Fox News ran a story asking why media coverage of this event is so scant. That was a question on the mind of a New Hampshire resident who three days ago wrote a comment on the website of WMUR TV (a New Hampshire’s television network):

I find it really difficult to believe that my local news organization is NOT covering that George Soros, the Billionaire who is responsible for collapsing several countries’ economies, is right here… right now … in New Hampshire for implementation of “A new Bretton Woods conference,” which is like the one that established the international financial architecture after World War II. He says that  this needed to establish new international rules…reconstitute the International Monetary Fund (IMF)…[and] to reform the currency system. This man is evil, he has the goal to collapse the currency in the United States of America, and the SOLE purpose of him being in NH right now is to meet with other world leaders to bring forth this mission.

So, I ask News9 … NH … WHY are you not covering this? Do you not think that the people in NH should be aware that this meeting is happening? Do you think that we would be angry, maybe protest their presence? Would you report that??

Though there seems to be little to no media coverage of the new Bretton Woods conference, The Blaze did find someone who was hanging around the conference site–Omni Mount Washington Resort–as the INET crew was setting up. This person snapped some pictures of posters being displayed there. The source noted that, “These [circle] posters are EVERYWHERE. It looks to me like an outline of the topics and talking points of the conference.”

Following on a history of antisemitic remarks, Mahathir made specific reference to Soros’s Jewish background (“It is a Jew who triggered the currency plunge”[32]) and implied Soros was orchestrating the crash as part of a larger Jewish conspiracy. Nine years later, in 2006, Mahathir met with Soros and afterwards stated that he accepted that Soros had not been responsible for the crisis.[33]

    Nothing George Soros does is good for America. He is the lowest form of slimy, scum-sucking bottom-feeding filth on the planet. He is no less evil than Joseph Stalin or Pol Pot.

    While America is focused on the idea of a government shutdown, there’s no telling what these dirtbags will doing up there in Bretton Woods NH, behind closed doors while no one is looking.
    You can bet the liberal mainstream media will not be reporting on it, even though it’s a HUGE DEAL.
    The only thing I know about this is that he will try to put a knife in America’s back.

      Sorros has set himself up just fine. He has enough Endowments, Foundations etc. to die knowing his influence will terrorize the world for decades. We do have the ability to seize at least some of his assets such as his organizations but it‘s minimal it’s what the Patriot Act is for. I just don’t see Treason as some are calling for a realistic approach. At best Sedition would fit, but there are better remedies within the Patriot Act. He supports World Wide Financial Terrorism it‘s a term that needs to make it’s way further into everyone’s mind and out of their mouth.       On the surface it seems to be more of an act of Sedition. I don’t believe he has ever said anything about a violent take over. But with the Patriot Act there seems to be provisions for acts like this. Charging him with anything will never happen with the current administration. The one thing Sorros might try if we do go after him for what he is attempting is to try to get his case into the World Court. He has the cash and has done things that would make it seem like he’s been stacking the deck in his favor. It seems like it was in anticipation of what we would do to him once he finally came after America.

      Im sorry who are these ppl to dictate how things go? Unions socialist groups and rich ilk like Soros where do they get the power to actually make policy… besides lobbying. If those they have influence on are so weak to the offer of a dollar then where are the anit-Soros rich? Koch brothers can’t be the only ones? Trump should wise up and anyone on the rich who is “supr rich” needs to start financing groups! They need to understand the life they now enjoy is in fact threatened including that/those huge bank accounts. If Soros and these groups have their way the rich will be “eaten” first, then it trickles down from there until they have the power and control they are after.

      Bigger problem with all of this is it has never worked there is always someone within a group who goes along with the plan but their agenda is not that of the group. Want to understand what I am saying here think the 1st scene in ‘The Dark Knight’, all the bank robbers were working together, each with a unique skill to get to the end goal, money; but what happens once they accomplish their task? They are eliminated one by one until the ring leader, the Joker, gets all the money for himself! Could one speculate this is the same thing taking place in the real world with Soros playing the role of the Joker to get what he wants?

It will consolidate wealth and power into the hands of a very select few that will set the agenda for the world. The US and its strength of economy was actually a barrier to this occurring and just like Soros himself has stated required a steady and controlled decline to usher in the new system. Bush family, Clintons, Obama have been right on board with this and have sought to bring this about. If you look at certain key financial and political positions of these administrations you will find scary freaky similarities. Are there many differences? Yes but in areas that do not truly impact the ultimate goal. In fact these differences are many times artificially enhanced in order to conceal the areas of similarity. Just look at the big spending, warring, and ever increasing government control from Bush elder up through Obama. Scarrrryyyy freaaakkkyyy !!!!! I am telling you to wake up. Look at what these families are heavily invested in and own.

      There is one major thing they are forgetting. An ideal economy is a Utopian idea. Capitalism has not failed. Look around you. Every person you see is a miniature economy. Millions of miniature capitalistic satellites roaming around doing there own thing without government help for now. The topic that should be on everyones agenda is getting their own personnel economy in order. The question to answer is how do you get the people who have no financial education (which is a majority of our world) to get excited about it? If i’m debt free and your debt free and everyone is working on it which it is possible with a good leader then we would all be in a faster pace towards financial healthiness. The major problems are we can’t control our own personal spending binges. My solution is self teach ourselves how to run a better personal business which is our lives so that we can compete with our politicians who cater to special interest groups. Like John Wayne believes, that every man needs to live by a creed or code.

      I might have missed the particular epsiode of Glenns, but i always only here him talk of “this guy that destroyed 4 or 5 economies” but i never here him explain which.

      BTW, if you cant answer this you DID NOT DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH, which makes you beckbots, and beckbots that fail at doing what he says…

      Our global leaders and a number of global “entities” such as the Rockefellers, the Bilderburgs, the CFR (Council on Foreign Relations), etc. have been working behind the scenes for years to lead us into a new One World Order…

      Why else would these meetings be held all over the world in secret? Why else would our national leaders leave our borders wide open? Why all the talk about a “Global Society” or a “Global Environment” or a “Global Currency” or the development of more and more “International Groups” like the United Nations, the IMF, the International Criminal Court?

      We have the African Union, the European Union, the Arab Union, and now our leaders are pushing for a North American Union to include America, Canada and Mexico… Kind of like turning our nations into huge trading blocks to simplify the the movement of “goods, services and people.”

      Our elected officials and many non-elected “officials” are pushing us, without our knowledge or consent, into this new border-less, one-size-fits-all “One World Order” as it’ll greatly benefit those wealthy few who are doing all of the arranging behind closed doors…

      Great for those at the top; not so great for the rest of us…

      @ FOREIGN ….assuming you are pro social justice in your ideology you seem to be quite inconsistent if you think the government officials are the ones that suffered economically in the East. It was the people who went without basics because of the financial earthquake he was directly responsible for in debasing their currency again gaining wealth at the expense of the common people. They suffered, not the government officials. And your comment on the British pound is ridiculous because you assume that because the pound had high inflation and artificially low interest rates that needed to be corrected that his actions were actually benevolent. You think Soros was some sort of savior (although this is the way he sees himself) because his actions caused this, but he selfishly saw a way to make big big money off of the pensions of common workers who had saved their whole life by nearly breaking the Bank of England (he knew exactly what he was doing and how his actions would hurts thousands personally). Yes the pound came back better only because those artificial factors were removed once Soros raped the people of their wealth for personal gain. Seems he is a little contradictory himself given his past actions, huh?
