SNL: Barack Obama Complains He Has No Power

SNL: Barack Obama Complains He Has No Power | Saturday Night Live Obama

NBC

Saturday Night Live spoofed President Barack Obama’s ineffective leadership, with Obama counting down everyone in America who has more power than he does.

First remarking that his major speech to Congress about his jobs bill got him two things — “jack and squat” — Obama said the Supreme Court could possibly kill his health care law when it takes it up later this term.

“That’s right, take my signature piece of legislation into a quiet room and shoot it in the back of the head like Joe Pesci in ‘Goodfellas,’” he said.

That’s OK though, because Obama said he realizes he’s “more of a ceremonial figurehead” and just one of many who have influence in the U.S. — and he’s near the bottom. With the help of a chart, Obama started counting down the top 13 of “America’s Most Powerful.” Among them:

  • Congress. “Do they do anything? No. But because of them, no one else can either. “They’re like Hotel California. My legislation checks in, but it can it never leave.”
  • Grover Norquist. “He got 276 Republicans and three Democrats to sign a pledge that they will never raise taxes under any circumstances. Wow. I tried to get some Democratss to pledge to buy some Girl Scout cookies from my daughter Malia and all I got was a ‘maybe’ from Nancy Pelosi.”
  • Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg
  • A tie between George Soros and the Koch Brothers. “I know they would like to be lumped together.”
  • Verizon customer service

When he reached No. 11, Obama said, “And finally me, the president. Barely above Pippa Middleton, and the Kia Gerbils.”

“See, I may not have all the power I used to, but I still have more than all of the Republican candidates combined,” he concluded.

(GE), NBC, MSNBC, 30 ROCK and SNL……….Home of the Communist Party!

PROOF: Look at the SNL 1980′s tapes and “count” the Political skits contained in the program. SNL has not been funny since and has “progressed” the the Communist Party over the years!

Making “fun” of a President who is complete IDIOT (Harvard Grad, lol) for the sake of the viewer is NOT funny, its SAD!

And you gullibles aren’t helping. The Left TRULY believe that the SOLE reason Obama has been unable to get his wonderful, glorious, country saving agenda through is REPUBLICANS! And while this minor jab at Obama (to allow them to claim bipartisan-humor), it’s nothing more than reinforcing that Lefty belief.

Do they REALLY believe the Republicans are obstructing them or is this SHOWBIZ b.s. to use to persuade voters?
I think it is all campaign showbiz.

Just like Jon Stewart and every other Liberal comedian they simply are incapable of making fun of Obama without also throwing in a slam at the Right. They’re far to gutless to let it stand on its own as they know their fans would crucify them,

The writing for this skit is funny. The guy who plays Obama always seems to make him a nice guy. Plus he never sounds anything like him. He’s not even trying to overemphasize the stuff that would make the impression work. But the bit does illustrate that even the SNL gang see Obama as a figurehead…almost like he’s a puppet. Now where have I heard that before? Also, George Soros has way more influence than the Koch brothers. How many umbrella organizations does Soros have? I think we ought not worry about what the media thinks. The old media is dead.

I agree. Not funny and this guy doesn’t get Obama. (I could even like this guy.) The sight or sound of the real Obama makes my thumb move to OFF so fast that I don’t think the message goes through my brain. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE PPL. Don’t get picky. Vote for anyone. Just get rid of him! I am so scared for our country and my six grandchildren. PLEASE get rid of him!

yes it’s the OFF button or the MUTE.. works automatic at our house for OBAMA.. although it does the same for commercials which have taken over television commercials including FOX to sell .. hospitals..medicines and disease.. so between the 4 we have pretty much quit watching ..although on the up side it has encouraged more READING via the internet.. for our dose of daily news.. although the BLAZE seems to think that everyone should WATCH the news therefore has a VIDEO on almost ALL it’s articles.. where as they could just provide a link for those that don’t read..

Too many people across all of North America get everything they know about the world outside the local shopping mall, from comedy shows. Sadly, it is likely that more people saw this garbage, than watched the The-Huckster’s Presidential Forum, last night.
