I’d rather vote for none of the above.

There is NO MAN (or woman) we can vote for and have any faith in whatsoever.

Don’t lace your faith in any man, not even yourself.

Place your faith in the power of God, because we need a miracle to fix this once and for all.

Many of the voters still wrote the name wrong on the ballot, even with the cards. She ran on a sour grapes platform. I don’t have any respect for her.

Sinista… I doubt ANY of us put our faith in any ONE man for the sake of our posterity and the future of our country even. To not be able to faith in your fellow man, at all, sounds like a very lonely life, as well as afterlife, to me. Trust can be broken and is very hard to mend. Faith, you need to ask yourself, what it really is. Besides, Glenn already said he would never want to be president… something about “what do you mean we are out of missiles?!?”

      @SISTA MACE.
I agree with a large part of what you are saying.
I have my plan of action.
I have been storing filtered water in 2 liter containers for months.
I buy extra canned goods every week.
Since the Fed plan to print money & inflate prices…
I am ratcheting up my plan & am repurchasing my membership to SAM’s and will buy bulk flour and rice bags, etc.

It will not hurt anyone to buy a few extra things each week to set aside.
Just rotate them out so they do not get too old on expiration dates.

For me and mine…if the Rapture occurs soon…I will be leaving a house of food & water for those left behind along with many copies of the Bible.

Beck was right about buying gold only if you intend on losing the overwhelming majority of it‘s wealth just to retain it’s face value.

When the dollar collapses, and it will, gold will collapse also.

It will collapse to it’s face value, $50 an ounce.

    Numismatic value = craftsmanship= worthless.

If dollars aren’t worth anything, and gold is worth $50 an ounce, then gold will be worth……..

    Nothing.

    Matthew 6:19-21 (New International Version)

    Treasures in Heaven
19 “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Store your riches in Heaven by giving to the poor.

lol, rofl, … Have it backwards much. Collapse of the dollar, means that gold will go up, along with all the other commodities, just only for us, the EU and CN will be unaffected, except that they trade with us. The imbalance will have a negative impact on their economies; but, not to the extent it does on ours. Collector Coins have value beyond that of the gold they’re made out of. It’s based on what people are willing to pay for them. Raw gold value is a the baseline, they won’t ever go below that.
If somebody discovers a massive new gold mine, then the price of gold could drop; except, that given the monitization of out debt, it probably still wouldn’t drop much here in the US.

Gold isn‘t going to be worth ANYTHING if the world’s economies collapse.

I also agree with you about food, guns, etc. (and I’m WELL stocked on those), but you’re assuming only WORLD collapse, and that’s not what the progressive libs are all about. I’m not going to be throwing gold coins at somebody shooting or threatening me either. Just saying that (for thousands of years) you CAN trade gold for the items you mention at whatever the highest valued world currency is going for if push comes to shove… and that’s about as self reliant as you can get. Remember, I DON’T disagree with you.

      SM
“..Matthew 6:19-21 … Treasures in Heaven 19 “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy..”
You are certainly welcome to your opinion. I believe you are wrong about the value of gold dropping with the value of the dollar. You see the value of gold is set by the value of all the world currencies, not just the dollar. I‘m sure glad everyone isn’t buying gold though, it would be $10K per oz. As long as more people, governments and banks keep buying it, the price will rise. But I do believe you are misunderstanding about ‘why’ we buy it. It’s not about storing up for ourselves treasures on earth. It’s about being prepared and taking care of our families. There are many possibilities when a person tries to look at the future. You are only looking at the worst case scenario when you say… “..What idiot is going to trade you a real commodity like oil or food or water or shelter for a shiny rock? They’re gonna laugh at you and draw their weapon on you.”. That might happen if Helter-Skelter gets here, but perhaps you’ve been watching too many road warrior movies. In the mean time gold has been one of the very best investments over the last 10 years. Those of us who buy gold are smart enough to also store food and weapons and have a secure water source, but we hope the economy will improve soon and our wealth will have been preserved. Get it yet? …rf

Sinista, do not presume that people who purchase gold and food for the purposes of hedging inflation and hunger do not give charitably to the poor and needy. When socialist and communist governments take as much from us and redistrubute it to the “needy” as you say, it takes away our free will of being charitable in the first place. That was Satan’s plan. Everyone loses free will and no one has a choice. That is what happens with too much government. Without getting into the detail of quoting scriptural passages, we are also told to help those who CANNOT help themselves and that to help those who CAN help themselves but CHOOSE not to encourages the problems we have with poverty.

@ Chickenlittle, I guess you’re right, I am considering the worse case scenario.

Thats what you’re supposed to prepare for.

@Mr. Obvious, I understand the gold electroplating of contacts and the increased conductivity and reduction of noise. Who’s going to be producing anything when the world collapses?

@AZFREEMAN, if the value of gold is based on the value of world currencies, and the value of world currencies are based on AIR, they’re artificially given value based on nothing, then the monetary value of gold is also based on nothing.

If the gold coin has a face value of $50, and the dollar is worth nil, then the gold coin is worth 50 nil.

I understand that you don’t think Helter Skelter is coming, but I do. It has nothing to do with movies, and a lot more to do with the current state of affairs.

I don’t doubt the historical value of gold vs paper currencies. All I’m saying is that the current value of gold is inflated because of the amount of money in circulation, it is a bubble, and it will deflate along with the rest of the world currencies in the long run.

I understand that you hope the economy will rebound soon and you’re attemtpting to preserve your wealth. I’m simply suggesting that you invest it in a bank that cannot be robbed, by giving it away.

@Nukehaze, I‘m not presuming that people who hoard gold don’t donate to charity. I’m not suggesting that we allow any socialists or commies to take it from us. I have some gold myself.
I understand that Satan is attempting to redeem hisself to God by forcing man to tithe, and that he is trying to steal our inheritance by taking from us to give to others and claiming it as his own gift.

My comment about giving to the poor was intended for those who don’t, because there are some who hoard their wealth and gold and don’t give.

Aren’t you tired of hearing one-sided arguments? How can anyone create an intelligent opinion without having heard all sides of any issue?
You are obviously on the “other” side of the argument and often bring condemnation to the articles posted on this site. I read your posts and wade through the vitriol for rare nuggets of fact or sincere opinion, because I know you see things from a different perspective and it may help me develop a better understanding of all sides.

Well, they slammed Beck as usual (He wasn’t the source of the 200m a day statement), But at least they gave him credit where credit was due on gold!

Anybody notice that Jesse Ventura ( yes, yes I know ) is on the same track ?

Jesse goes inside the secret billionaire’s boy’s club to find out what caused the financial meltdown and how the group allegedly continues to manipulate and control the stock market and oil, gold and silver prices. From Wall Street to Washington, the governor barges in on the rich and powerful to demands answers.

In The Obama Deception, at the same time that the majority of Americans were under the spell of thinking that Obama was a populist man of the people who would enact real change, Alex Jones exposed how he was personally chosen over Hillary Clinton at the 2008 Bilderberg meeting by Bilderberg luminaries and how Obama was in actual fact a compliant servant for the Bilderberg globalists who he answers to, people like Zbigniew Brzezinski

      Spooky Dude/Bilderberg…any connection there ?
