SNL: Herman Cain on Why He Dropped Out of the Presidential Race

SNL: Herman Cain on Why He Dropped Out of the Presidential Race | Herman Cain Saturday Night Live

NBC

Just hours after announcing he was suspending his presidential campaign, “Herman Cain” stopped by Saturday Night Live to shed some additional insight on his decision to leave the GOP race.

Denying again during the show’s “Weekend Update” segment that he had an extramarital affair with Ginger White, he explained: “The truth is that Ginger White and I are friends. And yes I gave her money, because that’s what friends do. Seth, you and I are friends right?” Giving host Seth Myers a wad of cash, Cain hinted, “Now, you know that money ain’t free…”

Cain said even though they were false, the allegations were preventing him from running an effective campaign, and said the media were largely to blame. That said, he knows there are still women out there who support him.

Addressing the ladies, he implored, “instead of bending for the media…why don’t you bend for Herman Cain?”

“I know in my heart that there are so many women out there who are still ready to get on the Cain train,” he continued. “I’m asking all the ladies tonight to line up, and jump on my train.”

Why would you post this garbage, Blaze?
Did someone think this was funny?.. or edgy?…or anything other than a wasted three and a half minutes?
How much did you have to pay NBC to post that crap?
Once again, I call on Glenn Beck to re-staff the Blaze.

It’s really a shame that some people have no sense of humor…..and Herman Cain is an idiot. Do you really think he would have made a decent President? He can’t remember what he ate for breakfast.

I have a fantastic sense of humor.
      I like funny things.
That was just stupid, and it certainly wasn’t funny.
This particular actor is probably the most un-funny person on the entire show.
Poor performance + stupid material = BIG waste of time, and a waste of webspace

People are trying to make Herman out to be a better candidate choice then he really was. He was a flip flopper on some big issues such as tarp, and the Federal Reserve Audit. He also did not openly admit the first allegation, then he did a few days later, that alone lost any remaining trust for me. Why not have an ideologically consistent candidate for once? I guarantee by the end of this month Newt will have fallen in the polls, once people see his major inconsistencies and deceit. Then, it will be up to Mitt, and Paul.

The ONLY candidate on the stage with any INTEGRITY is RON PAUL. We know what he will do by what he has always done, Promote and Defend the Constitution of the United States! He will not waiver, he will not be bought off or be persuaded to violate his oath. HE WILL represent the American people at every turn and do it within the limits of the Constitution, no more and no less. As it should be.

Yes, even Bachman FLIPFLOPPED and changed her church/religion to satisfy a group of potential voters. She voted for the PATRIOT ACT and gives lip service to the people about auditing and ending the FED because it will get her votes, not because she believes in ending it. When asking her about the UN and agenda 21 or which departments she would shut down and you will see the “deer in the headlights” look she is famous for. AND she will cave to the power elite once in office..Another puppet for the progressive agenda. She does not reference the constitution as a guide to the limit of power and Im not sure she even cares unless it will sway someone to vote for her.

Good article from S.E. Cupp. Apparently we think alike because that is what I thought all along. I liked his personality, didn’t think he sold his 9-9-9 and wasn’t sure he was ready~just likeable. I don’t like that he lied to his wife by omitting his friendship with the Ginger woman and giving her money which is basically money from his family and therefore should have been at least discussed with Gloria. But the timing of this is a distraction. I certainly like Herman more than Perry whom I thought was not sharp enough from the getgo.

Ask yourself this, why is it that conservatives will go run over to a liberal outlet to talk smack about a conservative. You people make me sick. You have NO right to complain about Obama, when you will allow the racist, vile, evil, news media to pick our candidate. This was the news media making up lies and distortions of facts about Herman Cain. Even Beck pointed out some of it. So when we get another term of Obama, look into the mirror, because YOU allowed it. We need to defend our candidates, not hang them out to dry. The news media hates conservatives and will do anything to get their man, Obama elected again. The funny thing is they know that you puppets will play right along, as they are laughing it up!

      @Tren

I don’t believe in bashing any candidate, but we have to get this one right or it will not matter, our future will be as if obama is re-elected. If we elect another progressive in sheeps clothing we will end up with the same result. Newt, Perry, Bachman and Romney are bought and paid for! They all have changed their stances based on the political winds and popular opinion. They will be persuaded to follow the political ELITE agenda once in office because the are NOT GUIDED by Constitutional principals.

We will have to vote for a CONSTITUTIONAL CONSERVITIVE if we expect to have a country in the future and the ONLY ONE on the stage is Ron Paul. Besides that Ron’s support is so strong that if we do not vote for him we lose to obama because his supporters will not waiver or vote for another puppet for the elite agenda. We either support Ron Paul of face another 4 years of the obamanation. your choice is Ron Paul or Obama, Those are your only real choices.

I think this is simple. Cain should have come out and said this. “Yes it happened, yes it was a long time ago. Now let’s drop it and move to the issues.” It would have been lying there wounded and bleeding and he would still be in the race. Cain had other issues in my opinion though as well, like how he has changed his position multiple times during the debates.

There is too much here for some of it not to be true. Cain quit because he got caught. He can continue to spread his message through books and lectures, exactly as he was doing before he developed the sideline of running for president. He can “spend more time with his family,” where they can keep an eye on him.

Herman Cain is my name and I rode on the campaign train,
Till so much media came and tore up the tracks again.
Late in the summer of 2011 there was the dive,
We were hungry for the truth which was just barely alive,
I swear by the smears that puddle at my feet
You can‘t raise the Cain back up when he’s in defeat.
The night they drove old Herman down,
And all the liberals were singing,
The night they drove Herman down
And all the misty-eyed messiah media were singing
They sang “Nah, na, na, di ha ha ob ba ma na na na naaaaah!”
Herman quick come see, there goes the feminist meme.
I swear by the blood that’s at my feet
You can‘t raise the Cain up when it’s in defeat.

Suspending his campaign doesn’t mean quiting. If you look at the facts all these accusers needed money. One fact being Sharon Bialek was just given a notice of eviction noting that she owed more than 7,000 dollars in rent. What I find funny is how could she even afford Gloria Allred as her attorney without having a dime to her name? If I was Hermin I’d go after these women and prove my innocence and disclose who is in fact behind these lies.
