NBC
Saturday Night Live‘s version of Michele Bachmann stopped by the show’s “Weekend Update” desk to discuss her recently suspended presidential campaign, and more importantly, to blink her eyes “for the first time since this all started.”
When Seth Meyers asked about her past statements that God had told her to seek the presidency, Bachmann acknowledged that it was possible it could have been a mass text.
She seemed unperturbed by the idea though, and was mostly just happy to get “one more taste of sweet, sweet eyelid.”
“Simply to the Iowa voters I want to say thank you,” Bachmann said. “And in turn I hope you enjoy a future that will be littered with death panels, reeducation camps and forced immunizations all ending in an Iranian nuclear bomb that will bring about the rapture, saving me and leaving you all to ask yourselves: What if?”

Posted on January 9, 2012 at 10:30amTerrible skits this week. Even the audience was bored. This cast is half assed and sucks the big one! SNL has gone down hill the last three seasons. It’s the same stuff over and over. High School plays are better produced. The Bachmann Blink was funny but they wore it out as if that was all they could come up with. Terrible Impressions. Bring back MAD TV!

Posted on January 8, 2012 at 10:07pmThere are so many better targets for humor: Gingrich’s explaining his serial adultery “because I love this country so much”, Rick Perry’s anti-gay military commercial followed by Gawker.com exposing him as a prolific bisexual, etc.
Report Post »deeberj
Posted on January 9, 2012 at 2:39pmI could find nothing at Gawker proving that Rick Perry is bisexual. That site is extremely liberal and seems to focus on sex and gays.

And, ignoring the major: Michele Bachmann has had an excellent message.

Posted on January 8, 2012 at 9:42pmReally? I though they captured Bachmann’s message, rather well:
“a future that will be littered with death panels, reeducation camps and forced immunizations all ending in an Iranian nuclear bomb that will bring about the rapture, saving me and leaving you all to ask yourselves: What if?” A future/present she attributes to Obama.

Posted on January 8, 2012 at 8:12pmThat‘s an indication she’s no longer frightened and realizes she’s as good as all the other boys. Get her back in the race. She’s still the most trustworthy of the bunch. Get Cain back in the run too. A nation that could withstand Willy “The Lech” Clinton can certainly bare Herman’s wandering eye. Either that or democrats will complete the selection of Romney for republicans.

or as the Islamist’s call it, the 12th Iman. How is this funny? Unless you are a no nothing liberal Obot, she is way out there. If it is Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, it is just sabre rattling. SNL does not realize the irony of their humor.

Where in the world did you come up with that statement? Are you not smart enough to read what the story said?
Try this part of the story on for size: “Saturday Night Live‘s version of Michele Bachmann”. Is that too hard to understand? It was SNL’s VERSION of Michelle Bachmann. Lord, no wonder we are in such trouble with trying to keep our freedom’s and protect our nation. And no harrison, your’s is not the worst of the posts on all of the stories on Blaze so you can rest easy.

Posted on January 8, 2012 at 7:28pmYou’re kidding, right? She is most definately not a “Looker”. I guess there is a possibility that years ago in her younger days she might have been somewhat attractive but I just don’t see how she could be considered a “Looker”. But I guess it is all a matter of opinion and taste.

Posted on January 8, 2012 at 6:15pmnot everyone has the same sense of humor, nor will they ever. i personally find some of snl’s humor to be funny. on the other hand, many of their skits are not. i believe that michelle would have been good president (anyone who gets on their knees daily and asks God for direction in what they do is better than someone who thinks their opinion is always correct and does not feel the need for God’s input in their policy decisions)

Posted on January 8, 2012 at 5:54pmDoesn’t mean that their role does not have anything to do with molding the outcome of the election and the greater plan of God. Everyone has a role to play even if it is brief. We all have a choice and isn’t that what it all boils down to?
