The actor’s delivery stank. He couldn’t even keep the BO cadence up- sounded barely like the way BO speaks. It was barely funny. The left has its minions to poke fun at the right. I would suggest to Glenn that Fox needs to put together a comedy show that does political satire, etc. That way we can feed the dumb lefties at the level they can understand- make it funny sprinkle in some “witty”, if it is witty, it must be true.

BLUESTRAT; Ronald Reagan wa the only recent pres that did not have his agenda dictated by the globalist forces. He was an honest man who did not need political tender. His views were straight from the heart and he was smart enough to know who was going to try to dilute or corrupt his message, and he kept them at arm’s length. I Don’t know how he did it. JFK tried to be that way and it cost him his life.
I am NOT a believer in the political system. I do not think there will ever be a political solution to the problems that signal the decline of this country. Our present condition is is attributable to an ethical and moral vacuum, that not only affects our government, but has debased our culture from top to bottom.
When a nation endorses evil, that is what it gets in return. The laws and ordinances that progressive thought has wrought in this country during the last hundred years have displaced common law and common decency, leaving us with uncertainty and chaos. Our children don’t have a chance. Our systems are in a state of confusion , and our condition mirrors our spiritual bankruptcy. The United States IS fallen from grace and the whole world knows it. Come out of her.
We can no longer claim ignorance to assuage our guilt in allowing the culture of death to predominate. Look at our young people who have been SOLD down the river. Look at the almighty dollar…Ha ha…now, that’s funny, isn’t it? Do you think you have an answer? Let’s hear it!

As for SNL…Sad but it’s been lame for a long time. I can remember cracking up and laughing my a$$ off when Eddie would do Mr. Robinson’s neighborhood…”Who is it!!??”…or James Brown celebrity hot tub. “Too hot in the hot tub!!” No chance of even a chuckle or a snicker anymore. Beckwill, I agree with you completely- in the days of Eddie Murphy, SNL was really, really funny. I‘ve searched out the ’Mr. Robinson‘s Neighborhood’ and ‘James Brown’s Celebrity Hot Tub Party’ skits on YouTube so that I could play them for my kids and, no surprise, they still hold up- incredibly funny.
“Should I git in da hot tub? Will it make me wet-ah? Should I git in da hot tub? Will it make me sweat-ah?” and one of my personal favourites, Mr. Robinson of ‘Mr. Robinson‘s Neighborhood’ reciting his original work ‘Kill My Landlord’ or making his own Cabbage Patch doll by ripping the head off of an old baby doll and sticking a head of cabbage on its neck. Remember, way back in the ‘80’s, when Eddie Murphy was funny?

( What-ever those standards are) … having been Held Hostage myself by being forced to watch some of today’s sit-coms…Sharing the TV …

Hey, Lamb, about that whole Obamacare thing- ‘deficit neutral’??? Where did you get that beauty, ‘move on’s website or WhiteHouse.gov??? Yeah, it‘s so ’deficit neutral‘ that we’re gonna pay into it for 4 freakin’ YEARS before it even starts and then, with the ever growing dependent population in the U.S, it’s gonna burn out and go bankrupt quicker than you can say “George Soros”, just like it did in Hawaii. People got the idea there that if their children could get ‘free’ healthcare, why should they pay for private health insurance? So the earners dropped their private insurance and put their kids on the health dole and, well, there ain’t no public option in Hawaii any more. And while we’re still talking price tag for this monstrosity, how about all of the private insurance companies in this country who are going to be driven out of business and forced to shut down? An entire industry, forced to ‘compete’ with the govt. that is regulating and mandating their citizens to use ‘public’ insurance- it won‘t take long before they’re all belly up. Think how many people that will put onto the unemployment lines. ‘Deficit neutral’ my ass! Wake Up!!!

SNL is too vile and vulgar to enjoy any longer, they‘ve slipped down so far with all of their innuendos and senseless shocking displays of vulgarity that they’ve become a crude glimpse of what was once a laughable light television special. If you have any regard for raising your children properly, you would do all within your power to keep them from watching this dished out trash. SNL’s poor acting and bad taste is so overwhelming, it’s a wonder how this garbage is allowed to stay on the air. NBC has gone so far down that nothing can save them, and Lorne Michaels is fast becoming a producer of no more than late night saturday smut. As for Paul McCartney, the sound broadcast was terrible, that didn’t help him at all, and furthermore, he should never have appeared, it only lowers his stature by appearing on this non whimsical full scaled commercialized farce. Paul should hang up his guitar as far as performing is concerned and do recordings only every once and awhile.
As for Saturday Night Live, it should be shut down closed and buried 6 feet under forevermore.

BO does not look at cameras. He looks to the left. Then he looks to the right. Fidgets back to the left. Stumbles completely back to the right. It is to give the impression that he cares about some jackwad in the front row. When all it does it detract from the job at hand. Actually reading his scripted tele prompter.

Well you got me there. But you realize you are challenging wits with a dog right? Philosophically, one would at least have an understanding of the core points in your presentation. That way you don’t look like a buffoon reading directly from the script. Hence the problem with the tele prompter. Which in this case i digress. As it would be properly situated for an office presentation. Leading b.o. to stare at the camera. But in his coordinated events they have one tele prompter on each side of him to give the people that warm glow i was talking about. This is where he fails to comprehend any basic logic. That studying up at least a little would get you away from “quotable quotes”. It was easy for him for the election in the fact that he had the same 6 line diatribe memorized for two years and never needed to adjust. Now that he actually needs to explain something that more often than not is not explainable. It highlights his flaws through his veneer polish.

      @ Lambchowder

“Name a President that rehearsed their speeches or didn’t utilize a speech writer in the last 70 years.”

Reagan was famous for going off-script and completely rewriting speeches on-the-fly that were written by speechwriters, as well as writing many of his own speeches. Many times the “speech” papers that he had at his podium were nothing more than some bullet-points to make certain he covered all the points he wanted to cover and winged the rest.

I’m not sure if he ever really used (they may have been there, but he didn’t appear to actually *use* them) a teleprompter even after they were available, most probably because he was old enough that they didn’t exist for most of his political life.

Watch some Reagan speeches and compare it to those of BHO. Reagan very rarely had to look down at his notes. When Reagan spoke, he looked right at the camera or into the crowd. You could tell the man really cared about the country and every single person in it, and believed passionately in what he said.

BHO in contrast appears to be doing exactly what he thinks we‘re too stupid to tell he’s doing; reading the words scrolling across a teleprompter that some speechwriter, union, or Soros-funded think-tank wrote for him to say (sort of like how the stimulus bill and other bills were written for the Progressives in Congress) without any real connection to, or conviction in, what is being said while wishing the whole time he was somewhere else.

It’s painfully obvious to anyone who pays unbiased attention and has more than two functioning neurons that BHO is a puppet with Stern, Trumka, and Soros swapping off on sticking their hands up his rear. They are here to suffocate grandma America with a pillow so they can desecrate the corpse by draining the wealth of the people and the Treasury dry, destroy the nation’s ability to create wealth, and enslave the people.

      Not. On. MY. Watch!

I know this is a spoof but he could have mentioned the backroom deals he cut in order for this deficit injection to pass without a whimper from Repubocrats. They howled when the Libiots passed their stimulus and BarryCare without even reading either one. Now they seem to be all over themselves to figure out a way to pass this stimulus. Extenders are still earmarks. What is the old saying, “A rose by any other name would still smell as sweet”? Something like that but the meaning is clear. Call an earmark some new name and it will still be an earmark. What something is, is more important that what something is called. Kind of sounds like something Washington would dish out.

Want to buy the bridge in Brooklyn I don’t own? Or how about this one; Social Security and Medicare are fiscally sound and stable. That is almost as good as “we‘re Americans so the rules of basic economics 101 don’t apply to us”.

How far into my short post did you read? When you saw “Barrycare”, did you immediately seize on that insignificant point and not read the rest? The point is and was this Barry tax relief is going to be full of earmarks. Anyone who supports this bill as it is presented, if it is full of earmarks, should expect the TEA Party to oust them at the first opportunity. If it smells like an earmark, it is an earmark.

The Obama administration and the Democrats have held the American people hostage from “Day One”! Regarding “never got hired by a poor person”… really wonder exactly who it is that paid for Obama’s education from Hawaii to Chicago.

I wonder if SNL will cover the fact that Obama skipped a very important press conference in order to “go party”. That was totally and completely unacceptable behavior for a POTUS. Who the heck does he think he is! And then to leave us with Mr. Bill! … but I guess it is obvious that Obama really isn’t running the Whitehouse anyway..so now it is out in the open.

It is kinda funny , that on Tuesday continuing Bush era tax rates was bad and there was no possiblity
of a “double dip”. Then Thursday continuing the tax rates would create millinos of jobs and keep a “double dip” from happening . Maybe Glenn and Rush are having an affect.. Naaaaaaaaaaaa

It’s not the tax cuts for the wealthy, it’s the other parts of the bill that are stimulants which create increased consumption.

This is no surprise because SNL has not been funny for a long time so why should it start now.

      @ JZS

      You cant be serious….

From God’s perspective…which do you think is more important; take up our cross daily and live a Christian life…or as you propose, take up arms for American ideals? God never promised that Christians would not be persecuted…in fact he said that we will. So what Biblical justification do you have for taking up arms unless you or your family are physically threatened personally?
