Posted on November 7, 2011 at 5:12pmHave’nt watch SNL since the original cast was replaced. It’s simple wit and sillyness was given over to vulgarity and depravity who hand in hand made it unwatchable to me…Second city tv was much better, ie. John Candy, Dave Thomas, Rick Moranis, Eugene Levy and all the rest.

Posted on November 7, 2011 at 1:08pmIf you have never been to Greece, one would not understand this skit as well as those who have been there. I thought it was kind of lame. Couldn’ stay awake after it.

Posted on November 7, 2011 at 11:39amLiked seeing Charlie Day on as guest but that was the only reason I watched only parts of the show. Didn’t like the Greek gods skit.

Posted on November 7, 2011 at 10:09amSeriously? They did this skit making fun of Greece and didn’t realize that they were supporting almost the exact same behavior in America?

Posted on November 7, 2011 at 9:06amMaybe this might wake up a few liberals that the fall of Greece is being bought on by sloth of the people.
Report Post »Depending on the Greece gov. or any gov. will being about the downfall of that nation.

Posted on November 7, 2011 at 7:48amI detest Liberal/Socialist SNL… but this skit was Funny… because it reminds me that the Gods Of The EU (Liberal/Socialist) are just as stupid as the Ancient-gods, or the Socialist American Keynes-god of Obama.

Posted on November 7, 2011 at 6:29amFew will notice the almost near-obsession with Greece.
Why? Why would so many be so interested in the fall of Greece?
There is an answer.

Report Post »I’m starting to read too many “news stories” ABOUT SNL.
I don’t watch it, why should I care for the Reader’s Digest twice a day?
I understand when they have a highly controversial skit about politics, but, I feel like I’m getting play-by-play ala the smelly wall street occupiers.

Posted on November 7, 2011 at 1:12pmYes, it does raise the question as to what purpose these stories serve. They certainly aren’t relevant as news and only a simpleton would find them “entertaining”.
This skit was an unfunny waste of time as it only made reference to the actual situation in Greece at the beginning and at the end. the vast majority was spent on lame “comedy” about Greek mythology, mostly sex references. If they spent more than an hour writing that skit they should be fired.

Posted on November 7, 2011 at 2:34amI can explain the greek debt crisis in a simple mathematic equation. input must be greater than output.
Public greek employees pay into the system for 20-25 years (12 months per year)
Public greek employees recieve from the system 35-40 years (14 months per year, yes 14)
That sums it up.
But, if you want to go further, to fund this habit they’ve been robbing their childrens coffers (how kind) before they even have them. BUT they only have an avg of 1.3 children per couple, so there is a much smaller workforce in the future. (also I might add, no country in history has ever come back from a birth rate below 1.4 children per couple.)
