That was like they threw some clothes on this guy, shoved him out there
and told him to say anything that came to mind.
Had to lure the audience in with Starbucks coupons.

Well, I’m not gonna waste my time watching anything off of SNL, but the “generic” issue is indeed something that a lot of us around here gripe about. Really, right now, without searching, who can make substantive distinctions between 3 significant positions held by Romney, Pawlenty, Daniels, Johnson, Gingrich, and Karger? Who can name – quick! – what each of their current or most recent political office is/was?

The only ones who have any sort of identity are the ones who are polling in single-digits. Ron Paul is a single issue man, always was. Granted, it’s an incredibly important issue, but it’s not enough. Cain is still “Herman Who?”. Trump? Who knows? Is he a candidate or a sideshow?

So yeah, we better get cranked up with somebody with some individuality fast, or this Saturday Night Live is gonna be Tuesday Night Nightmare next year.

Stopped watching SNL when Tina Fay started bashing Palin off screen. It‘s one thing to make fun of her on the show but it’s another to blast her off of it. No class Fay ~

“It‘s one thing to make fun of her on the show but it’s another to blast her off of it. ”

Why? Doesn’t she have a right to her opinion? Why can‘t she bash Palin if she thinks she’s an idiot? I have no idea where you formed a weird opinion that TV personalities can’t “bash” people, as they are American citizens. Palin is a goofy uneducated quitter-governor that can’t even tell anyone what she reads, and she deserves to be bashed as much as possible.

They just want to be able to say – “see, we make jokes about the president”. Give me a break. You guys have been in bed together for so long it is a common law marriage. SNL is just another arm of BHO.

Also (off topic a little) this morning on ABC the “journalists” were saying how the OBL hit made BHO look decisive!! Are you kidding me? The CIA made the call because BHO couldn’t decide!! WOW…this may have played years ago, but those awake see right through this BS. The WH and the media need to be replaced.

NotaMushroom, you really didn’t miss anything this time.

I used to love the SNL skits (but didn’t watch the rest of the show), but now that ObamaMedia has taken over all but the toilet seats in our homes, there’s no point in even turning on the television set. You can watch Fox News on the computer.

ATT really hates that they can’t sell me a “bundle” to include Dish and/or cell phone. My car moves a maximum of twice a week — AA meeting on Friday night and once for cigs and groceries.
