Snowstorm Produces Puzzling Crash Footage

A large chunk of the nation is currently getting hammered by snow and ice. At The Blaze, we regularly bring you videos of what happens when such weather wreaks havoc on traffic (here, here, and here). You seem to like those stories. So here’s another one.

This incident comes from New Hampshire, where I-93 got so slick yesterday, this happened:

The Eagle Tribune reports no serious injuries, and only says the car “slid off the road.” I think that’s an understatement.

      Mo, when my (now) late husband and I were in Marathon, FL, on our sailboat during the winter (Hoke hated the cold, and we lived in North Carolina), he loved to call home and tell the family that I was out riding my bicycle in a black bikini and that he was sitting on deck shirtless in shorts. Wrightsville Beach had 15″ of snow on the sand. They would groan, and he’d laugh.

    Saw a news bit this morning of the snow & icy roads and people were SPEEDING, it’s as if they were out there LOOKING FOR AN ACCIDENT.

    AND, they are COMPLAINING that they have been on the road for HOURS, to only go just a few feet!
    WTF????

    AND YOU WONDER HOW AND WHY….PEOPLE CAN BE “ DUPED” BY EVERYTHING COMING OUT OF OBAMA’S MOUTH AND WASHINGTON, HUH?

    IDIOTS, I SAY…..JUST IDIOTS!!!

    WATCH….they will soon start DEFENDING THEIR STUPIDITY!
    Oh, the ROADS ARE HILLY….I’VE DRIVEN BEFORE ON SNOW…IT’S JUST THE ICE….THE HIGHWAY DEPT DIDN’T SALT ALL THE ROADS….I DIDN’T KNOW HOW BAD IT REALLY WAS…..ETC., ETC.

    @Jonathan Seidl, as you have figured out by my emails and comments here, I sit at this computer and read politics virtually all day here and other sites, when I’m not watching the Texas border at http://www.BlueServo.net. I APPRECIATE the break from oppressive politcal news. I have even thanked the Lord at times for Spider, Solitaire, Hearts, Free Cell, and Mindsweeper on my hard drive. And, now I thank you for the occasional lighter side of the news.

      I know where theAppalachian Trail is I just didn’t know what part of the country the post was coming from, so I didn’t have a refrence point. If I say hiked the GC and you were on the East coast would the Grand Canyon jump to mind if you didn’t know where I live? Thanks for the info though:-)

      I dont remember anyone saying that the Blaze was supposed to be “hard hitting”. If I recall it was to be stories that Mr. Beck would find interesting. I know it piqued my interest since I read it, and it must have done the same for you to have read then commented. So stop complaining about it and enjoy the ride.

      U-K, I realize we must live in the same area. My husband and I are whining because of the chill here today as well, AND we opted not to go hiking because of the winds and chill. I think we’ll hold off until next week. Since we used to live in New England we realize how lucky we are here – weather-wise, anyway.

      I just did a “quickie” hike, about 45 minutes was all I could stand. Of course it was -8 last night and just around zero when I got home. But the Bitterroots are pretty when it’s like this, pretty da*# cold too!

      I live in San Diego. Thank God for my legal right to move here from another state.

      Whenever someone (a store clerk or any polite stranger) asks me “How are you doing today?”, I respond, “Well, if you know Jesus AND live in San Diego, what is there, really, worth complaining about? I mean, I live in Paradise, and I have another Paradise waiting for me…..I am a happy guy.”

      We saw almost the same thing on I-75 in Georgia once .. but it was being held up by the side of a mountain … still nose in but roof was up against the rocks where they had blasted through for the road. This is quite a little “trick” the driver pulled .. bet that was a ‘wild ride”.

      Have you ever tried to catch a rat (or a mouse) in a room full of furniture. The place will looks like a Tornado went through before you succeed.

      AGW (Anthropogenic Global Warming aka Man-made global warming) proponents are beginning to “rat around” about the COLD HARD EVIDENCE. Its hard to catch them! What was “global warming” they are “ratting around” and now calling “climate change”.

      When “climate change” no longer explains the extended cooling trend that will be evident next year and the year after, they will probably “rat around” and say that the “pollution” permanently caused an “atmosphere change” that needs to be corrected with remedial removal of CO2!!!!

      I say to the AGW people, the same thing citizens are saying to the snow storms ……… RATS!!!!!!!!!!
