So How Does John McCain Feel About Daughter Meghan’s New Job With MSNBC?

Sens. Lieberman and McCain extend congratulations to one another after both receiving the 2011 American Patriot Award from the National Defense University Foundation on November 3, 2011, in Washington, D.C.
Meghan McCain became an official MSNBC contributor this week and it left a lot of conservatives (even some on the left) a little teed off. But not her dad. “I’m very happy for her. I hope she does well,” Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) told THE BLAZE in Washington, D.C, Thursday night where he and Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-Conn.) were accepting American Patriot Awards.
Response from the right on Twitter was less than favorable to the news that McCain would be on the news — regularly. “Whatever John McCain’s sins, he does not deserve a daughter like [Meghan],” Editor in Chief of the Daily Caller Tucker Carlson tweeted Wednesday (he later apologized when Meghan called him out on it).
“MSNBC hired Meghan McCain, lowering the network IQ and raising that of their competitors,” tweeted Mark Hemingway, online editor of The Weekly Standard.
But her dad doesn’t care. “I think whatever is best for her life and career. And I‘m very proud that she’s doing so well,” he said.
We also caught up with Sen. Lieberman at the event and asked if he had any thoughts on Herman Cain and the sometimes confusing foreign policy positions he articulated this week. He said he wasn’t familiar and chose to talk about the harassment allegations instead. Okay!
“Certain people are jumping either way. Some to condemn him, some to say it couldn’t have happened. We don’t know. I think, ultimately, he should bring out the facts,” Lieberman said.

He should be honored for his Military Service and respect should always be shown for the office he holds today. However; we are always free to disagree with his agenda, statements, and actions as long as like Glenn states, “Without malice towards none.” We can even disagree with what he may have taught his daughter growing up as well. Of course we will never know if she listened to anything or not.

Meghan seems to be the only one in the family who can actually come out of the closet about their true Progressive ideology. The rest have to keep that truth locked away from the public, cuz Daddy makes his living as a Republican Senator who is really a Double Agent for the Democrat Party. No one needs to know about that though. Good thing John McCain keeps fooling us.

I don’t think McCain is quite the radical extremist that his daughter is but he is to moderate for my liking. Yes, I voted for him. He was the lesser of the two evils. We have to come up with a good conservative candidate this time. We need to set up a conservative party, no rhinos allowed. We can still have a republican party for those who can’t committ but I think people would be drawn to the basics that a conservative party has to offer rather than the republican party as it stands today. We won’t be able to until after the election but we would have 4yrs to develope it and present it to America. (That is if we even have an election in 2012 and voting rights if the progressives take over)
