So, What Do Muslim Americans Think About Anti-Terror Policies?

Pew Research Center Interviews Muslim Americans on Life in U.S.

WASHINGTON (AP) — More than half of Muslim Americans in a new poll say government anti-terrorism policies single them out for increased surveillance and monitoring, and many report increased cases of name-calling, threats and harassment by airport security, law enforcement officers and others.

Still, most Muslim Americans say they are satisfied with the way things are going in the U.S. and rate their communities highly as places to live.

The survey by the Pew Research Center, one of the most exhaustive ever of the country’s Muslims, finds no signs of rising alienation or anger among Muslim-Americans despite recent U.S. government concerns about homegrown Islamic terrorism and controversy over the building of mosques.

“This confirms what we’ve said all along: American Muslims are well integrated and happy, but with a kind of lingering sense of being besieged by growing anti-Muslim sentiment in our society,” said Ibrahim Hooper, spokesman for the Council on American-Islamic Relations, a Washington, D.C.-based Muslim civil rights group.

“People contact us every day about concerns they’ve had, particularly with law enforcement authorities in this post-9/11 era,” he said.

Muslim extremists hijacked four passenger planes on Sept. 11, 2001, crashing them into the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and a field in Shanksville, Pa.

In all, 52 percent of Muslim Americans surveyed said their group is singled out by government for terrorist surveillance. Almost as many – 43 percent – reported they had personally experienced harassment in the past year, according to the poll released Tuesday.

Pew Research Center Interviews Muslim Americans on Life in U.S.

That 43 percent share of people reporting harassment is up from 40 percent in 2007, the first time Pew polled Muslim Americans.

Asked to identify in what ways they felt bias, about 28 percent said they had been treated or viewed with suspicion by people, while 22 percent said they were called offensive names. About 21 percent said they were singled out by airport security because they were Muslim, while another 13 percent said they were targeted by other law enforcement officials. Roughly 6 percent said they had been physically threatened or attacked.

Pew Research Center Interviews Muslim Americans on Life in U.S.

On the other hand, the share of Muslim Americans who view U.S. anti-terror policies as “sincere” efforts to reduce international terrorism now surpasses those who view them as insincere – 43 percent to 41 percent. Four years ago, during the presidency of George W. Bush, far more viewed U.S. anti-terrorism efforts as insincere than sincere – 55 percent to 26 percent.

The vast majority of Muslim Americans – 79 percent – rate their communities as either “excellent” or “good” places to live, even among many who reported an act of vandalism against a mosque or a controversy over the building of an Islamic center in their neighborhoods.

They also are now more likely to say they are satisfied with the current direction of the country – 56 percent, up from 38 percent in 2007. That is in contrast to the general U.S. public, whose satisfaction has dropped from 32 percent to 23 percent.

Andrew Kohut, Pew president, said in an interview that Muslim Americans’ overall level of satisfaction was striking.

“I was concerned about a bigger sense of alienation, but there was not,” Kohut said, contrasting the U.S. to many places in Europe where Muslims have become more separatist. “You don’t see any indication of brewing negativity. When you look at their attitudes, these are still middle-class, mainstream people who want to be loyal to America.”

The latest numbers come amid increased U.S. attention on the risks of homegrown terrorism after the London transit bombings in 2005. The problem has been especially pressing for President Barack Obama, with federal investigators citing a greater risk of attacks by a “lone wolf” or small homegrown cells following the 2009 Fort Hood shooting and the Times Square bombing attempt last year.

Such terror warnings have stirred raw emotions as the U.S. struggles to talk about religion in the context of terrorism.

Tensions erupted last summer over plans to build a mosque near the Ground Zero site in New York City after critics assailed it as an insult to the victims of the 9/11 attacks. Rep. Peter King, R-N.Y., held House hearings earlier this year to examine whether American Muslims are becoming “radicalized” to attack the U.S., declaring that U.S. Muslims are doing too little to fight terror.

The Associated Press reported last week that with CIA guidance, the New York Police Department dispatched undercover officers into minority neighborhoods, scrutinized imams and gathered intelligence on cab drivers and food cart vendors, jobs often done by Muslims.

It is now common in U.S. mosques for Muslims to preface public remarks by saying that they know the government is eavesdropping but Muslims have nothing to hide.

Still, one factor behind the somewhat upbeat sentiment of Muslim Americans is the 2008 election of Obama, who pledged to improve relations with the Muslim world. Muslim Americans who vote largely identify themselves as Democrats, and fully 76 percent of those surveyed say they approve of Obama’s job performance, compared with 15 percent in 2007 who approved of Bush’s performance.

Regarding possible terror risks, about 21 percent of Muslim Americans say there is “a great deal” or “a fair amount” of support for extremism in their communities, according to the Pew survey. About 81 percent of Muslim Americans separately say suicide bombings and other forms of violence against civilians are never justified in order to defend Islam, and growing numbers also express an unfavorable view of al-Qaida – 81 percent compared with 68 percent in 2007.

In all, nearly half say that Muslim leaders in the U.S. must do more to speak out against Islamic extremists, compared with one-third who say Muslim-American leaders have done enough.

Pew Research Center Interviews Muslim Americans on Life in U.S.

The findings offer an uncommon portrait of the Muslim American community, which Pew estimates at roughly 2.75 million, or nearly 1 percent of the U.S. population. By law, the Census Bureau does not ask about people’s religions, so extensive details about Muslim American views, their size and demographics as a group are not widely known.

Mostly foreign-born immigrants, Muslim Americans are significantly younger, more likely to be male and more racially diverse than the public as a whole. They express a broad willingness to adopt U.S. customs and are just as likely as the rest of Americans to hold a college degree.

For example:

-When asked to choose, nearly half of Muslims in the U.S. say they think of themselves first as Muslim, rather than as American. Roughly 60 percent say that most Muslims come to the U.S. to adopt the American way of life and see no conflict between being a devout Muslim and living in a modern society.

-Foreign-born Muslims in the U.S. come from at least 77 different countries, led by Pakistan, Iran, the Palestinian territories, Bangladesh, Yemen, Jordan and Iraq. About 70 percent of foreign-born Muslims report they are now naturalized U.S. citizens, higher than the 47 percent rate for the broader immigrant population in the U.S.

-Muslim Americans are more likely than Muslims in the Middle East to say a way can be found for the state of Israel to exist so that Palestinian rights are addressed – 62 percent say this, compared with a range of 13 to 40 percent in other countries surveyed by Pew. That 62 percent share compares with 67 percent among the general U.S. public who hold this view.

The Pew survey is based on telephone interviews with 1,033 Muslims in the U.S., conducted in English, Arabic, Farsi or Urdu from April 14 to July 22. Subjects were chosen at random, from a separate list of households including some with Muslim-sounding names, and from Muslim households that had answered previous surveys.

The poll has a margin of error of plus or minus 5 percentage points.

AP Deputy Polling Director Jennifer Agiesta contributed to this report.

start calling a spade a spade.. muslims IN America, NOT muslim-Americans. if they follow the koran at all (kill, convert or subjugate) they cannot ever be an American.

Most Americans think islam is a religion, when it is purely only cloaked as one. it is war strategy to CONQUER.

the very word ‘islam’ means ‘SUBMIT’. a pedophile psychotic crimelord out in a tent invented it and reinvented the God of Abraham as the ‘authority figure’ who ‘authorized’ him to control the people around him.

@Boola: You know, I am as big a fan of Beck as they come(listen nearly every day, frequently buy things he advertises, early-subscriber of GBTV). And I am as pro-American as they come (served 8 years in the USN, born and raised and proud to be here; strong advocate for Constitutional gov’t). I am also a little suspicious of Muslims (since 9/11) and worried about the goals of their leaders.

But I am not a Christian (nor Muslim).
And I could make similar assertions against the Christian faith as you are making against the Muslim faith.

How about you stop attacking the entire religion and focus your efforts on the modern aspects that you find offensive? Rather than lump all practitioners into one big group that you equated to “a pedophile psychotic crimelord out in a tent invented it and reinvented the God of Abraham as the ‘authority figure’ who ‘authorized’ him to control the people around him” how about you focus your efforts on those who still profess those activities???

Because many non-Christians make similar anti-Christian arguments and I’m sure from your perspective you can see how unfair that is to most modern Christians, right???

I know of no ancient religion that doesn’t have weird and offensive things in their past.
Yet we generally ignore those things, realizing that today is quite a lot different from back then.

All these moderates do is bitch about the stigma. If they stand up against those who tarnish their beliefs then maybe we’ll consider their concerns.
Thing is, they can’t stand up against it because they silently agree with Muslim extremists. If you say they don’t, you are speaking for them? White majority american thinks to can put words in mouth of Muslim minority women? Let them speak for themselves.

Generalizing & demonizing a group of people is a tool used by the most ignorrant among us, to divide and control. The people in this story are attempting to assimilate into our nation (which holds in it’s constitution the freedom to practice the religion of our choice, without the hinderance of government).
Ultimately, you do not know what is in the heart of each individual. So, please attempt to judge on an individual basis, and maybe you will find the peace which your God wishes you to find. Dii te ament.

There is a HUGE difference in your comparison…Christianity has a New Testament and Islam has NOT! I am a Veteran as well and in my 20 years of service in the USMC I have spent collectively 6 years in the Middle East and continually read the Koran for an understanding! I agree the whole religion is not necessarilly evil and they have their “lip service” believers too but, the collective is VERY hard pressed to NOT condemn the (1-10%) that have bastardized their religion. THAT is why they get lumped in total, it’s a win win situation if they do nothing!

      @ Boolah “the Droolah”

Can you point out in the “Koran” where it says what you say it says or do you just parrot what it says in the books that your preacher sells to you at your weekly anti-other-religion nights?

As far as the moderates not condemning the extremists, there are three things I can point out: One, there are moderates condemning the extremists but some continue to regurgitate this line about waiting for them to do it rather than looking for the many examples out there. Two, most Muslims are brainwashed from birth to hate Israel and the US, so they are sympathetic to the extremist cause even if they personally believe that the methods are evil. This has less to do with Islam and more to do with human nature and the environment one is brought up in where the government promotes this line in order to distract and pass the blame from them and their repressive regimes. Three, most moderate Muslims fear for their lives and the lives of their families and relatives if they speak out against the extremists. It’s rather easy to tell them to risk their lives in order to satisfy your demands; it’s an entirely other thing to risk your own life and those of your loved ones.

Most of the people here spouting off anti-Muslim diatribes are ignoramuses that know little of what they speak.

For one to be a true Muslim he/she must follow Mohammad. Be one with him. emulate him in all ways and in all paths of their lives. If not they aren’t true Muslims.
This is from their own faith. Not my assumptions.

For another anyone who embraces America and claims to be a Muslim (which is a contradiction within the Islamic texts) is either preforming taqiyya or are apostates within the Islamic religion. You do know what an apostate is do you not?

And don’t start giving us some wipkideka definition of taqiyya. Quite easy to bring up instances where Mohammad tells his followers to preform taqiyya to murder a rival or how one has to preform taqiyya to infiltrate the enemy.

The only point I can make is living in America, and belonging to a religion that supports stoning to death 13 year old rape victims, or runs over teen girls as a “honor killing”, doesn’t make one a respectable American citizen. To be blunt, I can find no useful reason for Muslims to be here. They’ve added nothing to this melting pot, and we’d be better off without having to worry about them.

Your little YouTube video is only convincing to elementary school dropouts. It’s filled with generalizations and is weak on specifics and facts. Facts are twisted to suit the viewpoint of the presenter. It’s like learning the truth about Judaism by watching a film produced by Nazis or the KKK.

The Wahhabi Islamist cult has changed the meaning of passages from the Qur’an, which is why the extremist view is contradictory. Jews and Christians are called “People of the Book” in the Qur’an, and the only incentive for conversion to Islam in lands under Muslim rule was to be taxed at a higher rate. When the Qur’an talks about killing the infidels, or unbelievers, it is referring to pagans that had religious practices which included fertility worship through religious prostitution, human blood sacrifice, and infanticide. The Bible also contains similar verses, such as when Joshua was called to cleanse the Land of Canaan by killing ALL of the pagans; including men, women, and children. This was to be done in order to eliminate the false religions and their repugnant, evil practices. The Israelites spared some of the pagans, leading to their eventual downfall.

The Islamist extremists have changed the meaning of “infidel” by lumping in Christians and Jews in order to justify their evil practices that violate the original meaning of the Qur’an.

Rather than telling us what you believe the Qur’an to say and telling us that your interpretation is correct, why don’t you give specific suras and verses so they can be addressed? If you quote from a hadith, I’ll take that as an admission of defeat since they are not all universally accepted by Muslims as being authentic. Most anti-Muslims like to quote from the hadith since it’s easier, but many if not most are counterfeit and were created by various people in order to justify their own poor behavior.

Remember the Christian Crusaders who stopped the muslims for overcoming them? Probably not because they classified these Christians for just killing muslims at random. No. Muslims spread what they believed all over the world and these Crusaders stopped them seeing it was a religion based on one goal. Unfortuantly, they are succeeding because we, the government and every other bleeding heart, is catering to them. Does Homeland Security even know what is being brought into the Mosques. We know already that hatred of Americans is preached, but what is in their storerooms? I don’t buy that these Mosques are just places to worship!

@ Getalong : I attended a mosque’s Sunday school for several years and I never heard once that we should hate Americans (I’d take America over any other country). In fact, we were told that everyone, even non-Muslims we should try to befriend. We were told never to hurt any one; we were taught that the killing of anyone was a sin, even a non-Muslim. And as for the Qu’ran quotes, everybody, I‘ve never read a single Qu’ran that preaches killing infidels and the like of which you speak. Maybe some of you should attend an American mosque sometime.

      @NES

“What about all of our dead service members that were killed by “Christians?“ What about all of the Muslims and Jews that were killed by ”Christians” during the Crusades?”

What about the Muslisms who started randomly attacking Christians making pilgrimage to the Holy Land which prompted the Crusades in the first place? What about all the Jews that stoned the early Christians in the 1st Century AD? The problem that we face is that the New Testament does not give perpetual commands to mass-murder people, nevermind the fact that it’s not really geared towards forming governmental policies, but is to provide the Way of individual Salvation, primarily by imitating Christ.

With regards to the Qur’an and what it says, here’s a site that has quotes from verses pertaining to Jews, Christians, and non-Muslims in general: http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/Quran/009-friends-with-christians-jews.htm. Now, before you think that I don’t know of the other verses where Muhammed expresses that Christians and Jews are people of the Book, I do know of them, so it‘s not like I haven’t read parts of the Qur’an before.

Islam is not the religion of peace it’s a religion of deceit and lies to obtain their objective by using any means necessary. Just ask France, Brittan and other countries where they have infiltrated within. I’ve seen a child loose a hand for stealing food. Try converting from Islam to another faith…watch your back. Riots in the street because someone said something they did not like all in the name of Islam.

Islam is a religion that has been corrupted by totalitarianists, just as the tyrants who spread over Europe exterminating my pagan ancestors. The religion is not the problem rather, it’s the socialist, theocratic, totalitarianists who wish to enslave, control, and subdue the free will and individualism of the human spirit.

You said that right!!!! Islam is completely INCOMPATIBLE with Judeo/Christian ethics and priniples.

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS MUSLIM AMERICAN. It is not logical for a Muslim to be American.
To be an American there is an ‘American cultural norm” that one follows. Islam is the direct opposite. That is why Muslims do not assimilate. If you don’t assimilate YOU ARE NOT AMERICAN.

They are truly in every sense of the definition of the word…..INTERLOPERS. Only liberals are too ignorant to not understand the “subleties” of the difference. If they do realize the difference but continue to spread the lie “Muslim-American” is a valid reference to Muslims born here…(by default)……….then they are nothing more than traitors supporting Islams declared threats of destroying America from within.

Islam calls Abraham the father of Ishmael. WRONG.WRONG. WRONG. Abram and Sari were husband and wife, Sari had an Egyptian hand maid. Her name Hagar. Sari became impatient to have a child as promised by the LORD, so she decided to give her hand maid to Abram, he agreed. Hagar gave birth to a son, he was named Ishmael. A few years latter God spoke to Abram and said you will no longer be called by Abram. I will call you Abraham, and will no longer call your wife Sari but Sarah. Abraham and Sarah had a son together his name Isaac. After years of bickering Hagar was told to leave Abraham’s camp, and she was to take Ishmael with her. Abraham asked God to look after Ishmael. Hagar and Ishmael left camp, they wondered the desert and ran out of water. Hagar thought this is the end. God said don’t worry. 12 princedoms and a great nation will come from Ishmael, however he will have a angry blood. (we call this nuts) A name change is everything to God, Jesus Christ, his Apostles, so on. So Abraham is not, I repeat not ABRAHAM. Therefore the premise is wrong from the start. ISLAM DIED IN 1948 WHEN THE QURAN WAS REVISED AND THE BOOK TO READ WAS NOW THE QURAN, AND NOT, THE TORAH OR BIBLE.

Like them, it is highly distorted and markedly unfair, twisting the facts and cooking the data in order not to enlighten but to manipulate, not to educate but to propagandize.

that one statement/fact said it all. more than half of them already here are strictly following the koran plan. overwhelm, overcome, KILL, convert or subjugate.

here is no such creature as a muslim-American because the entire ideology FORBIDS on pain of DEATH any kind of allegiance to ANYONE other than (pedophile psychotic crimelord mohammed who invented islam) and allah (the God mohammed reinvented so he had ‘authority” to RULE).

Americans are kindhearted and Judeo-Christian religious, the majority have no clue what they have opened the doors to, islam (which means SUBMIT) is a political population calling itself a “religion” because to them State and Religion are ONE in the SAME. whose ONLY goal are to overcome, overwhelm and overpower. it is all about KILL, covert or subjugate. there is no 4th option. they are ‘preaching” that Christianity is for ‘whites only’ (and obama was weaned on this mantra in indonesia..which explains his devotion to it and catering to it NOW.. he is going with his father’s communist and muslim african roots, there is NO American values in him and these muslims silently patiently sitting out there see it ).

France basically is an Islamic state now, but will be officially in another 12 yrs.

Germany will be an Islamic state within 18 yrs. according to a study done on population increases worldwide.

Canada will become an Islamic nation within 50 yrs.

      America within 65 yrs.

All of this by moving into an area, building a mosque, then simply outbreeding the non musliem population.

Sadly, many who claim to be Christian Americans do not attend Church and do not demand that their children do. Let little Johnny make up his own mind is what they say.

In the muslim household the children have no such choice, they learn the Koran, memorize most if not all of it. Pray 5 times a day. Or they get the sh$t beat out of them.

The USA is just on the border line of not being able to reverse the trend to outbreed us.

Once they can control the voting process in an area, they drive the non muslim factor out of THEIR new community.

Understand something of what the administration has been doing lately, having read and watched many articles on sights where it has been confirmed that Obama has Radical Islamist allies as his advisors in many departments of the administration, consider this:

He is allowing class, ethnic, and religious hatered against native and immigrant muslums to build by the rest of the nation; he keeps stirring the pot and cranking up the heat. Most likely the allied radicals of his will then attempt to keep stirring up the muslum population against the rest of the citizens of America and intiate a true race-war and religious-war.

One more excuse Obama will then use to crush America once and for all of the “Bottom up, Top down, Inside out” plans. He probably has promised his radical allies a homeland within the states that will be exclusive for the Sharia Law and their own governence.

At the same time he will use them as “useful idiots” to further his own ends and try to use them as scapegoats so he can be the “Saviour of the Nation.”

Lets get to the “meat of the matter”. The only thing you need to remember about a Muslim is that although they are saying they are peaceful and happy, when the Mahdi is reveiled they will be told “by their ultimate spiritual leader” to convert or kill ANY infidel. If they don’t, They will be killed themselves. You can believe all you want that there are “good or nice Muslims” but there is only 1 type of Muslim and that is one that believes in Allah and will follow his commands. This is not a hard concept people.

Only a fool or a moron would trust a muslim…they have an agenda, and it is to lull stupid Americans to sleep so they can continue to move into this country to take it over. And when they try to take it over like France they will riot and kill any non muslim. In her latest book, Author and lecturer Nonie Darwish says the goal of radical Islamists is to impose Sharia law on the world, ripping Western law and liberty in two.
She recently authored the book, Cruel and Usual Punishment: The Terrifying Global Implications of Islamic Law.
Darwish warns about creeping Sharia law – what it is, what it means, and how it is manifested in Islamic countries. For the West, she says radical Islamists are working to impose Sharia on the world. If that happens, Western civilization will be destroyed. Westerners generally assume all religions encourage a respect for the dignity of each individual. Islamic law (Sharia) teaches that non-Muslims should be subjugated or killed in this world. Peace and prosperity for one’s children is not as important as assuring that Islamic law rules everywhere in the Middle East and eventually in the world. While Westerners tend to think that all religions encourage some form of the golden rule, Sharia teaches two systems of ethics – one for Muslims and another for non-Muslims. Building on tribal practices of the seventh century, Sharia encourages the side of humanity that wants to take from and subjugate others.

A lot of this discrimination would be tempered if they demonstrated their patriotism and openly condemned the radical extremist publicly. I remember hearing very little from that community. What I do remember is an interview with 4 young Muslim girls right after 911 who indicated they felt that violence was justified sometimes. Four young Muslim girls have soured your opinion of 2.75 million Americans? Do you ever actually think about what you are saying?
      _________________________________________________________________________________
Really!!?? Have you even picked up and looked at the Koran? They are here to infiltrate! When they are told you will see with the “edge of a sword” what they really stand for. I am sure they are much more devoted to their “god” then the majority of America is to G-D from a Christian stance. How many Christians will stand and defend G-D YHWH when they are in a life and death choice. Most Christians think the Laws and Prophets have been “Nailed to the Cross” also. Lines are being drawn in this Spiritual Battle. G-D‘s and Satan’s “MARK” will not be a physical “MARK” but a spititual one defined by what you STAND FOR! Take some time and research. Read your Bible IN CONTEXT! G-D’s mark will come from Faith AND Obediance in his COMMANDMENTS.

“American Muslims are well integrated and happy, but with a kind of lingering sense of being besieged by growing anti-Muslim sentiment in our society,” said Ibrahim Hooper”
    —————————————————————————————————-
Well integrated? They keep themselves separate from the rest of American society, continue to speak their own language, continue in their customs, instead of adapting to American customs and holidays. Just like their counter-parts down in the south-west. America is not a mixing pot anymore, it’s a cabinet with many drawers. There are exceptions to the rule, but for the most part, that is the way it is now.

I think very little of anyone who follows the teachings of a pedophile and murderer. muhamad was a violent warlord who married a 6 year old. If anyone feels ok with that. Stay very far from me and people like me. Sicknesses like that get punishments.

Islam is a mans cult, designed to beat down woman and children, for thier plessure. Mens clubs drink and deal with porn.
If you don’t believe this, read up on it and challenge me!!!

I’m going to guess that you are christian, I’m also going to guess that you believe the bible should be taken literally. With this being said you must believe in the out most divinity of all the prophets both old and new testament. So you believe that it is alright for a man to be date raped by his daughters if he has no sons? please read up and challenge me lol……. Maybe you should spend less time demonizing the Koran and pick up the Bible there is plenty in there to keep someone busy.

“Still, most Muslim Americans say they are satisfied with the way things are going in the U.S. and rate their communities highly as places to live.”

Sure, as long as you’re not Jewish, Catholic, Protestant, gay, an unmarried woman, atheist, agnostic……..

they have just as much right to their opinions as you or I do. Personally, I wish more expressed “displeasure” with terrorism. remember, as long as they don’t try to force anyone to do anything, they can believe their god is a little green man from mars

they cannot express displeasure with the very fundamental core of their “belief” and koran. it is kill, convert or subjugate in the name of islam (which means SUBMIT)

muslims will never be AMERICANS, never, unless they stop and quit islam, which is unthinkeable on pain of DEATH. once in, you can’t get out according to the koran. your children are born muslim, and so the army continues to grow.

America needs to WAKE UP. this is NOT a ”religion”, it is a war movement of slowly INFILTRATING free nations, cloaked in OUR beliefs everyone should be free to have a religion.

I do believe there is a difference between the Muslim religion and the Islamic political system. My problem is that the so called moderates won’t stand and condemn the radicals. They get what they deserve. I personally have only had one bad experience with a Muslim, see my earlier post, so it’s not enough to make me prejudiced against them….they just need to stand up against the radicals, if they are indeed moderates.

They feel persecuted by authorities when profiling is not done? THEY feel persecuted when the head of homeland securtiy says it‘s a white woman in her 30’s or a white man in his 30′s who are most likely to bomb some place? Perhaps the American people may be getting to them, because they don’t stand up against “radical” Muslims. I’ve found that most women dressed in partial garb (faces uncovered, but everything else covered, hair, long sleeves, etc.) are quite nice and will smile back at me when I smile at them. I had one woman with everything covered buy her eyes, give me such a look of hate I almost melted on the spot. Maybe I since I see only the eyes, I can see it better. I was dressed in Capri’s and a tank top (last summer) and she was in heavy clothes.
