So What is Van Jones‘ ’Take Back The American Dream’ Conference About This Week?

Van Jones Conference With Campaign for Americas Future Starts Monday

The Campaign for America’s Future, strategy center for the progressive “uprising” is teaming up with Van Jones’ “Rebuild The Dream” organization to lead the “Take Back the American Dream” conference this week in Washington DC. The Campaign for America’s Future writes:

“The ‘American Dream’ of a vibrant middle class is under siege. But there is a real middle-class uprising sweeping the nation to save it and renew it.

The Campaign for America‘s Future is teaming up with Van Jones’ “Rebuild The Dream” organization to add fuel to the grassroots fire that has already been lit—in Madison, Wisconsin and town halls all over the country. We want to channel that grassroots energy into an unstoppable force.”

Speakers at the conference include Rep. Barbara Lee, Sen. Bernie Sanders, Robert Reich and many more participating in discussions such as “Stop Outsourcing the Dream: How America Can Revive Manufacturing in a Green Industrial Revolution,“ and ”Paying for the Dream: Progressive Tax Reform and Social Justice.”

The conference’s bill will be footed by major liberal lobbying and advocacy groups such as the National Education Association, AFL-CIO, MoveOn.org, and SEIU. The conference’s homepage mobilizes progressives by asserting:

“With the floodgates of corporate campaign cash flung open and a Tea Party-dominated conservative movement doing violence to the fundamental pillars of middle-class prosperity, the promise of the American Dream is under threat as never before.”

In addition to discussions, training seminars and a “Networking Margarita Party,” the event will hold an awards gala honoring among others Planned Parenthood, undocumented Dream Act activists, and “The Wisconsin Movement.”

Co-Director of the Campaign for America’s Future Robert Borosage, spoke about the conference in a recent interview with Free Speech TV’s Thom Hartmann on his show, “The Big Picture:”

The conference will close with a “Jobs, Not Cuts!” rally on the U.S. Capitol high noon Wednesday. The conference discussions and training will take place Monday through Wednesday morning at the Washington Hilton, 1919 Connecticut Ave, NW Washington, DC.

      the point when Adam and Eve have “Cain.”

      the Tea party woke up before they called themselves a Tea Party, that
      was when God said “Let there be light.”

      How does standing against socialism, communism, and marxism crush the American dream? After all, I am an American and the only dreams ive had about these -ism’s have been nightmares. You sir will truly be wealthy beyond imagination, but your loyal followers will be poor, broken, and disappointed. Youve done a great job though. Now I see why they had been “watching” you for so many years in amazement. Mr. Jones, the “hood” that all of us Tea party members are “scared” to go into- are you proud of that? Do children deserve to live in that type of fear? Will there be hoods in the new utopia? Can Tea partiers live there in peace? Will blacks embrace gay marriage in utopia?

      I almost feel sad for Van Jones…you can see he’s a defeated man. Beck effectively castrated him. Jones thought it had all come his way when Obama made him “czar of green jobs” but the fantasy fell apart for him and the left. Truther, communist, delusional- Beck exposed Jones and his kookiness to the whole world and even Obama had to throw him under the bus. Since then, Jones just can’t think of what to do to elevate himself. Being on the wrong side of the argument isn’t helping him.

      @Banter — Loons they may be, yet understand this much, they are dedicated to the insanity of their cause which is the destruction of the Republic and the rebuilding of it into a socialist nightmare that we will never awaken from if it comes about.

      These displays of the “days of rage” and such are a way of building support, momentum and control while at the same time being a psy-ops style of operations to try and convinced their side they have stornger numbers on their side, a target to focus upon, a cause to follow and evils to redress.

      Well they are creating the “Stupid” Society, just look at who really is part of these rallies mostly under 21 students in public high schools and college that are bused to those events. Non of the parents, since they are to busy trying to pay for their child’s educators salaries with the rising taxes they have to pay on housing/property they own. If there is an attack on the middle class it comes from the Elites of the very movement (Progressivism) that they are creating.       I was a human punching bag for The Hammer before his last fight. Mark says that maybe if I promise not to use my hands for striking Jones would take the challenge. I don‘t know if I could kick Jones’ ass or not, but I’m willing to put my belief on the front lines against the punk. It’ll prove that not only does Jones actually believe in his communist rhetoric and push toward violence, but that he’s actually less than a coward. While I believe he’s certainly a communist, I also believe he’s a yellow backed coward to face a man one on one. Not sure I like the idea of not using striking though. Been working with Kelley Pavlik (The Ghost), and spent 36 days with Bernard Hopkins working on boxing techniques and it’s coming along pretty good.

The fact that he believes the Tea Party is operating against its own best interests is very consistent with his world view. Proper governance from their perspective means committees of experts and academics (formerly know as Nobles) making decisions for us.

    Someone should revoke the Nobel Peace Prize from President Obama for allowing a man like Van Jones to enter into the highest office of government in this country. I’m sick and tired of all of the lies that this man continuously touts and I do not know how he sleeps at night knowing that his simple rhetoric is causing chaos throughout the country. Instead of holding himself accountable, he blames the exact people who are trying to save this country. Basic difference between these protesters and the tea party: the tea party wants to save this country and build it up and the liberal fascists that are storming Wall Street want to destroy the country and its economy and build it up in their own image. We have the responsibility as Americans to reject this vile hatred because this country has never accomplished anything through the condoning of mindless insurrection. George Washington once said that ultimately the truth will prevail even if it pains it to bring it to light. These people will discover what truth is whether they like it or not and they’re going to destroy their souls in the process. I choose to be on that side of the truth because the truth has no agenda and it is so much more powerful than the message of hatred and destruction that is coming from people like Van Jones.       I believe the plan to radically change our country was put into action long before Obama’s presidency. Getting him in the White House was one of the final steps. He is in the position of power – he can declare Martial Law. That brings us to the question of “When & How will it be done?”

      I think it will be soon. I think the original steps towards the goal include these types of demonstrations, promotion of class warfare, creation of financial instability, fanning the flames of growing anger at the government and perhaps engineer food & fuel shortages. A slow & steady process towards the goal of wide-spread civil violence. And then the clamp down would come.

      But now the timeline has to be accelerated. They can’t afford to wait for the situation to “naturally” boil over because the odds of Obama getting re-elected are becoming slimmer & slimmer each day.

      While the original steps are still being followed, another crisis situation must be engineered.

      The only scenario the public will buy is a terrorist attack. Not a huge attack but many small incidents. Easy enough to do. Dirty bombs in New York and Los Angeles. Controlled power grid disruption in the Midwest. Tainted water supply in various communities. An attack on one of our military bases – a few bombers blown up while sitting on the tarmac at Whiteman AFB perhaps? A missal launch from a cargo ship on one of the coasts. There is a multitude of choices. The key is they will all need to happen almost simultaneously – within days of each other.

      The president say our country is under attack by UNKOWN enemies. But we can’t retaliate or declare war because we don’t know who is to blame. And until that enemy can be identified the only way to keep the country “safe” is martial law. This will effectively put the populace under control of the military – with Obama as Commander In Chief.

      Simply put, martial law is the suspension of civil authority and the imposition of military authority. For all intents and purposes, the military acts as the police, the courts and the legislature.

      The process of declaring of martial law can be somewhat complex. There is debate on who has the power to do it – Congress or the President because suspension of Habeas Corpus also comes into play.

      With multiple attacks on the country, I doubt Congress would put up much of a fight against the President. And once it’s done, it will be difficult to

      I’m selling my home, getting out of debt, and preparing to be mobile and prepared so I can help my family. As a mom, grandmother and great grandmother, I’m still young enought o do good for my family and country. Oh, I’ll be brushing up my shooting skills.     Do these people not know that this country is broke? They want everything but want the rest of us to pay for it. And the Green Jobs in a joke. There are no green jobs. The technology is just not there yet. You see all of these green job factories going out of business with millions of our hard earned money down the drain.

      You don’t seem to understand, they don’t want it to get to the election. If they can incite enough riots in enough different cities Obumbler can declare martial law. Our hope is that the military officers will realize that their oath of office was to the constitution not to an individual. Jones, Moore, and the CBC, Garafolo, Bloomberg the council of governors, all of the agitators plan on being part of King Obamas inner court.
      They want to redistribute the wealth starting with a large portion for themselves.

    It’s important to remember that the goal of Leftists like Jones is never an actual improvement in the living condition of anyone anywhere, EXCEPT to the extent that that improvement has political value. The end goal, always, is power, and what they are doing here–copying the Tea Party talking points, but without any understanding or actionable plans–is typical.

    I have said this before, but to call people like Van Jones liars is to assume that they even recognize the category “truth”; this is patently not the case. “Truth” is what furthers their totalitarian agenda, and falsehood that which harms it.

    One must ask, in particular, how exactly damaging the economy through idiotic policies helps ANYONE but those who are direct and short term recipients of governmental largesse.

    So for the obvious question. Once you rob the rich and give to the poor. Then who do you rob? All that’s left are the poor. Come on people. Think just a few years past your ‘american dream’ and put on a hint of common sense here. Once you have taken all the ‘rich’ money, then you will end up taking it from the poor once that money runs out.
