So What Song Did Herman Cain Sing at the National Press Club?

On the heels of denying two women’s claims of sexual assault in the 1990s, Herman Cain was filmed singing about his faith at the National Press Club during a luncheon this afternoon.
And while some like Talking Points Memo and The Hill reported that Cain sang “Amazing Grace,” perhaps because the song he sang begins with those words, he actually sang “He Looked Beyond My Faults.”
Watch Cain turn this opportunity to “share a little bit of my faith” into song:
Cain was at the press club, according to Politico, reiterating that he had never sexually assaulted anyone and calling the case “a witch hunt.”
Cain, who is very comfortable with singing in public, has broken out into “Amazing Grace” at an event in Tennessee and also sang God Bless America as a 9/11 tribute.

Posted on October 31, 2011 at 9:33pmTo not vote for Cain because of his name being ‘Cain’, and for only that reason, is superstition. It’s the kind of action that makes people avoid Christianity. If there are other reasons in themselves, so be it. As Christians, we want to draw people to Christ. Yelling devil this, devil that, not only makes others afraid of Christianity, but the less we acknowledge the Evil One, the more room for Christ is in our hearts and minds. Let God ‘crowd’ everything but Himself out.

He has admitted to the allegations after denying them so we need to move on and not get stuck with another slick Willie. I have the understanding bc Newt cheated on a wife he knew was dying and fell in love with the other woman and married her, still with her and love seems to be strong, we can’t forgive him but yet Cain has alledgedly assaulted women in some way uncomfortable to them, but some are ready to forgive him.

Forgiveness of newt is one thing, not thinking he has the character we want in a president (plus he is a progressive from way back) is another. We have nothing to forgive Cain for yet. @lukerw.. Yes indeed Grace is unmerited favor. For Christians who believe that we are all sinners and therefore, only through the sacrifice of Jesus and HIS grace upon us, can we have salvation in the next life.
However, true Christians don’t take that example to the secular world…..with respect to dealing with crime etc. True Christians abhore unmerited favor on this planet and suggest that all who are able to work do so and to the best of their ability and support themselves and their families. True Christians also believe that the folks who are truly incapable of taking care of themselves, must be taken care of by the society. Therein lies the dillemma. Who is not capable of not taking care of themselves? After we have spent trillions of dollars on Welfare and our failing Public Education system…..ask yourself this one simple question. How many folks did you know in High School who chose not to do the basic things to get a proper education just because they thought it was more fun to be cool and fit better into the secular society? Should we be supporting them? Why? They had the same opportunities afforded to them that everyone who took advantage of the education afforded to them. This crosses white, black and many other ethnicities. Many other ethnicities are moving here from out of our country and taking advantage of it.

God doesn’t…because the truth is none can stand on their own merits…everybody needs grace. The best among us is so far from God’s righteousness that any comparisons between us of our own righteousness is a stench in the nostrils of the Almighty.
True Christians know the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ is central to life, in secular and all areas of life. It is foundational. Those who don’t are self-righteous religionists and hypocrites that nobody likes being around…and especially not God!

Answer the following:
Is fiat paper currency and the FED authorized by the Constitution?
Is the central planning of the most important price in the economy, the interest rate, consistent with a free market?
Why does Cain say that any tax plan must be “revenue neutral?” Doesn’t that imply that he thinks the fed. govt. taxes at about the right amount?
Why did Cain reject the free market solution to a burst credit bubble of the Federal Reserve’s creation (you know, the govt. created banking cartel that RINO Cain worked for)?
Why were Ron Paul and other Austrian free market economists able to predict the housing crash and the insolvency of banks and Freddie/Fannie many years in advance?
Why did Cain say the economy was just fine right before it went off a cliff?
Where in the Constitution does it allow for bailouts?
What unconstitutional govt. departments will statist Cain propose to eliminate (Ron Paul has named 5 for starters with $1 trillion in cuts)?
Why does Cain want to continue subsidizing the welfare states of Germany, Japan, and S. Korea by providing a military umbrella (you do understand the govt. must borrow the money to even do that, right?)
Why did Jefferson and Jackson warn that fiat currency and central bank would unduly concentrate wealth and power in govt. and

Posted on October 31, 2011 at 6:11pmCain, Carpe Diem!
Obama’s birth certificate alleges “where” he was born and his parent’s citizenship “when” he was born. These equally important “facts” are now beyond Obama’s ability to refute, alter or hide! Unless fake, his Kenyan father inescapably precludes his Constitutional eligibility as a natural born citizen by not being born within US jurisdiction to TWO US citizen parents.
Candidates for President, each having “legal standing” are therefore obligated to sue Obama and the DNC for fraud and failure to qualify as a natural born citizen, or be dismissed as untrustworthy!
Constitution, Art. 2, Sec. 1, “No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible … .”
Exempting a “citizen” from being a “natural born citizen” proves they aren’t equal, or no exemption was needed. Being not less than nor equal, a NBC must be more than the minimum requisite for citizenship then, which was US birth to a US citizen parent. Only US birth to US citizen parents (plural) is greater, thus defining a natural born citizen.
The Supreme Court agreed in Minor v. Happersett, 1874. “The Court held that Minor was a member of the “class” of persons who were natural born citizens. They defined this class as those born in the US to “parents” (plural) who were citizens.” Leo Donofrio, JD.

In U.S. v Wong Kim Ark, 1898, the court simply ruled that Wong Kim Ark was a citizen. “Since Wong Kim Ark didn’t fit into the class of natural-born citizens as defined by Minor, the Court looked to the 14th Amendment to grant him US citizenship.” Leo Donofrio, JD.
Amendment 14, “All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, … .“ Being ”subject to the jurisdiction” matters.
“Citizenship wasn’t acquired by birth on US soil prior to the 1965 Immigration Act, considered by many to be a misinterpretation of the 14th amendment and contrary to the original intent of providing emancipated slaves who, without a US citizen parent even if born on US soil, had no other means of acquiring citizenship. The 14th amendment affects only citizenship, not a natural born citizen: one born on US soil to US citizen parents (plural)”. [1]
Representative John Bingham, framer of the 14th Amendment, speaking before The US House of Representatives, clearly agreed.
“I find no fault with the introductory clause [S 61 Bill], which is simply declaratory of what is written in the Constitution, that every human being born within the jurisdiction of the United States of parents not owing allegiance to any foreign sovereignty is, in the language of your Constitution itself, a natural born citizen.” (Cong. Globe, 39th, 1st Sess., 1291, March 9, 1866)

Routinely following my comments with your childish drivel only serves to provide me with additional yet unnecessary opportunity to further expound upon the truth, if and when I permit myself to feel obliged to correct your errors.
Nor do you ever address any properly referenced sources such as this:
Natural born Citizen, Attorney Leo Donofrio, JD., Minor v. Happersett Is Binding Precedent As To The Constitutional Definition Of A Natural Born Citizen (June 24, 2011).
http://naturalborncitizen.wordpress.com/2011/06/24/minor-v-happersett-is-binding-precedent-as-to-the-constitutional-definition-of-a-natural-born-citizen/
Either maturely refute the source material by referencing some facts yourself rather than further embarrassing yourself by your unsubstantiated errant personal opinions, or cease and desist.
Additionally, there are brand new revelations that Sheriff Joe Arpaio‘s investigators probing Obama’s eligibility for the 2012 Arizona ballot, have uncovered sufficient reason to want to see Obama’s original birth certificate and to also further investigate his similarly suspicious Social Security number and “natural born citizen” status.

In US v Wong Kim Ark the Court refered to Minor v Happersett, only to quote itt as saying that that it was not intended as a precedent defining natural born citizenship. They did, however, go on to establish such a precedent:
“It thus clearly appears that by the law of England for the last three centuries, beginning before the settlement of this country, and continuing to the present day, aliens, while residing in the dominions possessed by the crown of England, were within the allegiance, the obedience, the faith or loyalty, the protection, the power, and the jurisdiction of the English sovereign; and therefore every child born in England of alien parents was a natural-born subject …
III. The same rule was in force in all the English colonies upon this continent down to the time of the Declaration of Independence, and in the United States afterwards, and continued to prevail under the constitution as originally established.”
The Court quite reasonably assumed that since the Founding Fathers included the top lawyers in America at that time,, they would have known what the law was and if they had wanted to change it they would have done so by actually writing a new law, which they never did.

Posted on October 31, 2011 at 5:56pmCain sings the free market tune, but his dance steps are all wrong.
How can one advocate a free market, but then contradict himself in regard to money, banking, and interest rates. The Federal Reserve tries to centrally plan those things. There is no free market in those areas. A free market doesn’t have collectivized risk. That means no centrally plan rates that are a direct subsidy to finance. The FED can bail out member banks in effect by artificically lowereing that rate. Is that free market?
FDIC is a confidence game. It takes away the fear of loss of depositors, so people don’t do their own due diligence when deciding what bank to place their money. It encourages banks to take far more risks because tax payers stand behind deposits.
The big problem with FDIC is that it has roughly $50 billion on hand to cover many trillions of deposits. See the problem. If you are to get your money, you’ll have to wait for the FED to place and order at the Treasury to print up more cash to cover the deposits. You’ll get payed back in monopoly money. This is what free market economists call moral hazard.
FDIC isn’t a boon for you, it’s a boon for the banks. It’s not constitent with a free market. A free market regulates be fear of loss. What happens when the govt. takes that fear away? Bad things.
Cain didn’t support the free market solution to the crisis. He embrace a Keynesian socialist model. He’s a RINO.
