So Who’s Gene Simmons Supporting in 2012? You Might Be Surprised

Bassist and frontman for the legendary rock band Kiss has shouted out loud his regret in voting for President Obama in 2008, and has tweeted that he plans to throw his support behind current GOP rockstar Texas Gov. Rick Perry in 2012.
Simmons was born in Israel and raised in Queens. He founded the make-up wearing, hard rock party band Kiss in the early 1970s and has since appeared across entertainment platforms from acting a story arc in NBC’s Third Watch, to competing in Celebrity Apprentice.
Simmons says he is a social liberal, but has voted for both Democrats and Republicans in the past. In December Simmons derailed Obama in a CNN appearance, telling Elliot Spitzer “if you take a look at the resume you couldn’t find somebody, in retrospect, more unqualified.” POLITICO on Simmons remarks:
“Two years in public office, never ran his own company, so after the fact, I was questioning the qualification,” said Simmons during an appearance on CNN.
Simmons knocked the health care bill, in addition to “the Chapter 11s and Chapter 7s. You should be able to fail. ”
“I want the government out of my life,” said Simmons.
Simmons was very supportive of the foregin policy of President George W. Bush, writing on his website in regards to the war in Iraq:
“The Iraqis are free.
I suggest anyone having a problem with this war go talk to the Iraqi’s. Ask them if they prefer freedom (even at the price of, initially having what seems to be chaos), or if they prefer Saddam Hussein come back and reinstates the old ways.
I DARE anyone to say the Iraqi’s were better off before, under Hussein”
Do you think President Obama will get the same vocal support from Hollywood in 2012 that he got in 2008? Do you think more and more celebrities will come out against Obama like Simmons?

Yea I give props to Gene for owning up to being suckered by BHO. He fell for the hype and its surprising being the type of business man he is! The guy does his homework on everything he does, you would think he wouldnt want to be near someone running for potus who never even ran a lemonade stand!
Bigger question, for Gene outside of this is will he be standing with Israel on 8/24 with Glenn? If you arent a fan of his show and didnt see it a cpl weeks ago he went back to Israel with his family and visited many sites. Quite versed on its history, you can see his love for his nation. I have searched high and low and cannot find any commentary from Simmons on Becks event next week. The Blaze staff maybe you should reach out to him and see what the deal is!! http://SavingtheRepublic.com

Posted on August 18, 2011 at 6:46amStuff like this blows my mind. KISS is a rock and roll band, known for filth. Gene Simmons was part of a larger machine that helped destroy the fabric of America. Why in the world do we give him a voice on the blaze? His opinion does not matter.
Now he has had some sort of epiphany, or change of mine?. Look, the article claims he voted for Obama last election. Let me help you out with that one. Last election, the info below was not a secret, it was well known.
-Obama declared the run for the presidency in the house of Bill Ayers. Bill Ayers is an anti-American terrorist, he helped start the Weather Underground, he blew up bombs in the subways, he said he wanted a communist revolution that killed millions of American Capitalists, now he says he wished he had done more.
-Obama sat for 20 years in the congregation of a church that spewed anti-American messages, preached black liberation theology, was anti semetic. He did not attennd a service or two, he was a memer for 20 years.
Report Post »-Obama spent the formative years of his life outside continental US, to include attending muslim private school in Indonesia.
-Obama had no leadership background, outside of community organizer (that equates to rabble rouser)
-Obama was a junior senator with no experience, and generally voted “present”
-Obama wrote a book called Dreams FROM My Father. His father was an Anti-American drunk.
All of this was out in the open. If you voted Obama, you are either stupid, or very evil,

I too was raised a Democrat. My parents are now claiming to be independents. The Navy changed me about 26 years ago. What this election did was make me look at more than the letter behind the name. There are yellow dog Democrats, and there are yellow dog Republicans. Before this administration I didn’t know what a RINO or DIABLO was.
I think Obama is confident that he won’t have to face the voters again. I think he’s doing everything in his power to cause civil riots (through race wars, class wars, any means he can manufacture) so he can declare martial law and suspsend elections. That’s why Glenn (and I agree) advocates keeping a cool head.

Posted on August 18, 2011 at 7:57amLook, I am glad Gene has “come around,” but I can’t give him a pass for his mistake. If he were listening back in 2008, everyone on the Right was screaming at the top of their lungs about Obummer’s LACK OF EXPERIENCE, as well has he radical associations and likely agenda. Gene simply wasn’t listening. That is on him. He is part of the problem. But at least he has decided to become pare of the solution as well.
The fact is Gene got caught up in this movement to create history and elect the first black president. I’m not being racist, I’m just telling the truth. And despite the fact that he has made the lives of most Americans significantly worse then they were three years ago, millions of people, not just blacks, will go and vote for him again for the same reason. Sadly, most of the people I am speaking to will never read this site, but if you voted for Obummer in 2008, I implore you to vote on substance not style (race) in the upcoming election. The fact is that Obummer has absolutely NO IDEA what he is doing. He has surrounded himself with idealogs who have no idea what they are doing. The result, as you can see, has been catastrophic for this country. ANY ONE of the current GOP candidates would be a better choice that Obummer. Please support whoever the eventual GOP nominee is and lets get the restoration started!

Posted on August 18, 2011 at 9:49amGene Simmons is an acute businessman with much success to show for it… I’m glad that he will not vote for Barack Obama again, but I wish he would not support Governor Rick Perry!
Slick Rick is just another open-border globalist and has a terrible record on illegal immigration. In 2001, Perry signed the Texas DREAM Act bill into law; in 2010, he expressed strong opposition to AZ Governor Jan Brewer’s tough anti-illegal immigration law; he has clearly stated that a fence along our southern border would be “ridiculous;“ and he has continually expressed his desire for an open southern border for the ”free flow” of people to work in America and Mexico…
No wonder Numbers USA gives Rick Perry a miserable D- when it comes to immigration, and why is FOX News not offering these facts to the American people?

Posted on August 18, 2011 at 11:46amRANGERP….Gene‘s opinion is important because it’s a barometer of where the pro-Israel Jewish voter is right now. Obama’s losing Jews who view Israel as a positive for the U.S. I don’t need to tell you..for some unfathomable reason, Jews in this country tend to vote Democrat. So when Obama loses a significant slice of the Jewish vote, he’s got a problem. Gene has a big problem with Obama’s “1967 borders” idiocy. This was the final straw for Israel supporting Jews in this country and it couldn’t have come at a worse time for Obama. What may win a few back is when the UN has a vote on recognizing Palestinian statehood in September this year. Even with Obama in office, the U.S. will not support the measure but it may fool some soft-headed Jews in this country to go back to Obama. But Gene is VERY pro-Israel…other Jewish people like him in this country have dumped Obama.

I feel that if anyone‘s political vote is easily malliable by Hollyweird’s crowing or *******/moaning, they ought not be allowed to vote. Im sorry, but mushbrains voting got us to where we are now. Posted on August 18, 2011 at 5:14amRick Perry introduced the Trans-Texas Corridor concept six years ago, calling for a network of broad corridors linking major cities, with toll roads for cars and trucks, tracks for freight and passenger rail, and space for pipelines and power lines.
The $200 billion, 4,000-mile network was needed, he said, to accommodate rapid growth of the state’s population and the expected increase in Mexican truck traffic following passage of the North American Free Trade Agreement, or NAFTA.
The idea drew criticism from the start, criticism that intensified after Perry announced the state had contracted with a Spanish consortium to build and operate one of the sections of the controversial network.

He was part of the band KISS. Enough said. He is filth, he is demonic, and his opinion on political matters does not equal a squirt of piss.
Tell me what good KISS ever did, or how it has bettered society. Explicate their music and give me the bottom line up front message.
This is not the founding fathers we are talking about, it is the Rock and Roll band Kiss from the 70s. I was lucky enough to have decent parents that did not allow such filth in our house, and was not influenced by such garbage. You are entitled to your own opinion, and I am entitled to mine. When it comes to the future of this nation, I do not, nor will I ever hold anything from the Rock and Roll industury in high regard.
It is not like the quoted Bill Cosby, Billy Graham, JC Watts, Norman Schwarzkopf, Barbra Bush, Hank Aaron……
Those are great Americans that are also good people. Gene Simmons goes by “The Demon” for a reason. In his recent book Kiss and Make-Up that he has had sex with 4,600 women in his career, there is a real goal to set up for the youngsters of America.
In the Kiss song “God of Thunder,” they command young people to kneel before Satan:
“I’m lord of the wasteland, a modern day man of steel
I gather darkness to please me and I COMMAND YOU TO KNEEL
Before, The God of thunder, the god of rock ‘n roll
I’LL STEAL YOUR VIRGIN SOUL!”
Give me a break. I know filth when I see it.

Mr Bikerr – I think you are on to something here, as I am seeing a pattern with folks like SWALT. if you make a point, they argue, or make fun of you, I can reply with facts, data, histry, and then generallly revert to name calling, as they have no argument, or ability to counter. If mr SWALT likes KISS, that is his right. He just has no ability to stand up to reality, and explain how they have helped America, and not damaged it.
Thanks,

Posted on August 18, 2011 at 7:43pmI just had the opportunity to check back on what I posted yesterday and find Ranger’s response. I truly feel sorry for you Ranger. It must suck to be you. Over protective parents are just as bad as parents who don’t give a rip and let their kids do whatever they want to. Your brain suffers the malady of not being allowed to form your own opinions and you therefore really don’t know what to think … you are stuck thinking the way your parents wanted you to think. Very socialistic/progressive/liberal/communistic of your parents, don’t you think? Not allowing their child to learn to think for himself? Yes, it must really suck to be you.

Gene is a patriot? No, Gene is a rock and roll freak. He wore demonic looking make up, sang music that worshiped the devil (not figuritively – literally), had immorale relations with thousands of women….
And you say he supports the troops? I am the troops, been a troop for 24 years, with three tours to combat. I would rather you pray for the troops, and would prefer Gene and his type stay far away from anything I do.

Posted on August 18, 2011 at 7:54pmRanger, you said in a previous post you never listened to his music. So how do you know what the songs were about? I, on the other hand have listened to Kiss. I liked their music very much, and it did NOT have anything demonic about it. You are a morally corupt individual. And a liar. You either lied about NOT having listened to their music, or you lied about what was actually in the music. Either way, you are a liar. As I said earlier, it sucks to be you.

Posted on August 17, 2011 at 8:26pmeven if Ron Paul had a remote chance to be in a position to take on the federal reserve (which he will not have) his attempt would be short lived just like everybody else that has ,,the fed would start tanking the economy just like they have in the past when someone took them on,,,and Ron Paul would back off just like everybody else to save his own ass,,we would see 25% intrest rates very fast and he would crawl in hole and hide because they would be so many wanting to hang mr pauls ass

Posted on August 17, 2011 at 8:27pmRon Paul is going to screw everything up. He won’t get the Republican nomination, so he will switch to Independent, and pull votes from the Republican nominee, and could very well wind up GIVING the election back to Obama. What a loser. Did you hear what he said about Iran and letting them have a nuke??? He is an idiot.

But tell me, if Rick doesn’t win (or anyone else who is adamently for one person), will you vote for Obama, or the person who won the nomination? If it isn’t the one that your so cheerleading, will you feel stupid that you diss’d every other candidate?

Be specific. What does Perry receive? How much money? Who pays it? Is it delivered in cash by a bag man named Lou?
Unless you know any of this… STFU…. and adjust your hat.
