Socialism is ‘Imperative’: Communist Leaders Detail Their Plans for America at Party Conference Over the Weekend

The Communist Party USA opened its national conference in New York this weekend, and the speakers weren’t shy about their plans for the United States of America.
In what constituted a clear step-by-step stratagem, Sam Webb, the party’s chair, opened his remarks by saying that the upcoming elections are only be part of “a grander design [that] will connect the dots between our immediate and longer-range political task.”

“To put it differently,” he elaborated, “we hope to connect the struggle at the ballot box today with the struggle for socialism tomorrow.”
Webb continued to discuss the “catastrophe” that would befall humanity if we did not begin living in a more environmentally friendly manner, before declaring socialism to be “imperative…to preserve peace and our planet, expand democracy, eliminate gross racial, gender, and other forms of inequality, and to provide a secure life for the billions living on this earth.”
But how, exactly, does the party propose to transform America’s system of governing?
The first step, according to People’s World– where the official Communist Party USA Twitter page directs readers– is to defeat right-wing “extremism” (presumably at the aforementioned ballot box).

One such Republican to defeat is likely Rep. Allen West of Florida, who has been criticized for noting that there are likely 80 members of Congress who may be Communists.
Rather than deny the charge, Communist Party Vice-Chairman Libero Della Piana remarked: “Is he saying that he would not support the democratic right of the people to elect communists to Congress if that was, in fact, what they wanted to do at some point in the future?”
Once Republicans are successfully subdued, Webb believes that communists will join with workers in an “anti-corporate” struggle.
“[But] this stage of struggle doesn’t supplant capitalism,” he explained. Rather, it “brings the socialist stage closer as tens of millions become convinced in the course of the struggle that capitalism doesn’t work for them” [Emphasis added].
Finally, after a shift among the “core forces” for social change, the Communist Party and other leftist organizations will finally succeed in becoming “the people’s government.”
In this stage, Webb explained, it is important to “control the movement of capital, [institute] a tax policy that weighs heavily on the wealthy, and [place] under democratic control sectors of the economy, such as finance, that are a threat to the peoples’ government and a socialist revolution” [Emphasis added].
While many have long-dismissed the Communist Party and other leftist organizations as fringe political movements, their influence among vocal groups like Occupy Wall Street has granted them more consideration in recent months.
“We are still too small,” Webb said, “but the good news is that we’re growing.”

All he was doing was calling it as he sees it, unlike those same leftists who hide behind terms like “liberal” and “progressive” to deceive and confuse the general public so that we don’t know their true allegiances and goals. Nice try. This question reveals a misunderstanding, not only of democracy, but also the role of Congress in a Constitutional Republic.
We are not a democracy precisely because it doesn’t respect the rights of individuals – only the majority.
This is not to say that if those who wanted to live under Communism couldn’t “escape” our Constitutional Republic to do so.
First thing’s first, though: The several sovereign states have decided to unite under a Constitutional Republic in order to secure individual liberty. So, by definition – AS WELL AS BY STATED DESIRE – a member state in the United States may not elect those who have no intention of adhering to their oath to uphold the Constitution.
Indeed, the Constitution mandates that the national government must guarantee a Republican form of government (as opposed to, say, a democracy).
So, no, the people cannot both demand, by way of membership in the United States, a Republican form of government, and at the same time demand a Communist government.
As to how they could have their own Communist country: It can be done by getting a state to secede from the Union. Sovereign states have that right.

As proven by their actions they are clearly enemies of the Constitution and should be put on trial as such. The founders believed in freedom they did not believe in allowing enemies of the Constitution to be put into positions of power to subvert the Constitution. Hence the oath of office. As a nation we are clearly on our last legs. Our people don’t understand their government, governing principles, nor its founding and foundation. It is only a matter of time. While I hope Romney wins, in the grand scheme of things it will mean little. It will only delay the inevitable. Romney will be the one step back in the commie two steps forward one step back gradual take over of America. Romney will get very little done to turn the ship around. As I have been saying you must be prepared for what is coming in the next 10 years or so. It is not going to be pretty. It will be horrific for a lot of Americans (especially Americans of faith).

Romney is a Keynesian, like Obama; And because people mistakenly see him as a champion of the free market, when the Fed and other Marxists stops their relatively slow destruction of wealth (by inflating the bond, student loan, and housing markets via artificially low interest rates), the vast amount of corrections to the economy that will need to be made will make it seem like Romney is responsible for the crash.
And because Romney is a Keynesian/Corporatist, he will try to involve government in the economic recovery, not knowing it was government intervention in the first place that caused the artificial booms.
The solution is to drastically cut government spending, taxes, regulations, priveleges, and subsidies, but only Ron Paul knows this.
Thus Romney will serve as the Leftist scapegoat for their failed collectivist policies – ESPECIALLY their policy of using fiat money (which has exported inflation to the rest of the world, such that America has an artificial advantage) – and therefore he will be a monumental step FORWARD in the takeover of America.

I’m so proud to stand with Orly Taitz in this upcoming election cycle. She has shown remarkable courage, dedication and sacrifice in the face of Obama’s efforts to turn the U.S. in the direction of a socialist society. She is right to bring attention to the abnormalities in the Obama story. As one of the few people willing to speak out about the young Obama, I can confirm he was a Marxist when I met him in 1980.

There should be records in the city hall as well. The shacks indeed are heated with stoves. I don’t know if they have heated water now, but at the time they had only cold running water, some did not even have bathrooms and used outhouses and many lived in one room shacks.Only when I was about 7 years old and when my grandfather passed away, we could do an exchange. As all the housing was owned by the state, we could not buy or sell an apartment, but we could exchange. We exchanged 2 apartments for a one in a new 5 story apartment building, similar to projects in the US, where for a number of years 5 of us lived in a 2 bedroom apartment: my grandmother, my parents, my brother and I. I did not have a bedroom of my own, I did my homework in the living room and I slept on the couch in the living room. The whole apartment was 40 sq meters, it is about 400 sq.ft for a family of 5.So, you see Kelly, when there is redistribution of wealth, nobody has any incentive to work, there is a shortage of housing, shortage in food supplies, shortage in medical supplies, in everything.Stop and think: do you really want it here? Do you want this future for your family, for your children and grandchildren? I don’t want it for my family.As a matter of fact, here is a challenge for all of the left wing Obama supporters on MSNBC, Daily Kos, Grapevine and so on.

First you put in place a soft socialism that still pays lip service to capitalism while turning the thumbscrews more and more on higher earners, then you insinuate more and more leftism and statist take over into the process until you are faced wtih communism. This is EXACTLY how the far left of the democrat party- including Barack Obama- are operating today. While they deny it..Piana declares it. There is nothing in Piana’s words that strays from what the democrats are doing at this stage. Thankfully…communism can never truly take hold in this country, freedom is a valuable virtue to Americans..they will fight passionately to defend it when it’s threatened. On a more working level…the social conditions simply don’t exist in this country for communism to become an appealing alternative (I’m excluding the whackjobs currently infesting our colleges and media). This is why the leftists want to create disruption, unrest and instability. They want to create those conditions. Pain is communism’s most effective strategy and it has no aversion to creating that pain if necessary. But we don’t have dictators or monarchs. We don’t have one party rule. It’s time we see conservative members start bringing charges to those who are committing treasonous acts by ignoring, attempting to change or defying the Constitution. If these people in office are allowed to change our Nation fundamentally then the people operating in the legislative and judicial branches of the government are failing the people.
It’s time to put the pressure on those who are supposed to keep the executive branch of government under control. Start writing your concerns to those who are doing nothing as the United States is turned into another 3rd world dictatorship by King Hussein and his puppet master Soros. Stop allowing these act of treason to be committed without punishment.
King Hussein has illegally taken office and is know illegally changing the way government is run. Congress and the Supreme Court need to step up are they aren’t worth the air they breathe.
