Socialists Flood Chicago Immigration Rally: ‘Open the Fu**ing Borders’

What happens when a bunch of socialists (from Chicagosocialists.org ) and open-borders advocates (from the Immigrant Youth Justice League) get together for an immigration rally in Chicago? This:

“Pro-communism, pro-socialism, anti-American, opposed to borders and ending all deportations, pretty sums up the message,” the site Rebel Pundit says, which attended the rally on March 10 and took the above video. It says many of the participants are either from Chicagosocialists.org or the Immigrant Youth Justice League.

According to the site, the socialists and revolutionaries in attendance were more than just “tagging along” as one person in the video suggests — their participation had been well-planned:

One protester claims that the socialist and communist marchers were just “tagging along”, however this seems to be an understatement as the Chicago Socialists.org Invitation to the large march scheduled to join the Immigrant Youth was promoted and prominently displayed on their website; ChicagoSocialists.org. The socialist marchers also accounted for doubling the number of attendees at the protest from a couple hundred to a total of roughly five hundred people. Ironically, the theme of the protest was “Undocumented, Unafraid and Unapologetic”, yet some of the protesters kept their faces covered for the duration of the entire gathering.

The rally’s goal is worrisome considering a startling report from CNS News regarding border security. The news outlet says, “663 individuals arrested along the southwest border in 2010 were from countries designated as ‘special interest’ or from countries known to have  ties with terrorism.”

CNS based its information on a speech by Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) on Thursday.

“It’s not just that we’re seeing immigration across our southern border from countries like Mexico — people seeking to work and provide for their families,” said Cornyn, who sits on the Senate Judiciary subcommittee on homeland security and terrorism. “Indeed in the last year alone — where 445,000 individuals were detained at the southwest border — 59,000 came from countries other than Mexico.

He added: “These included 663 individuals from special-interest countries like Afghanistan, Libya, Pakistan, Somalia, and Yemen and four countries that have been designated by the U.S. Department of State as state-sponsors of terror – Cuba, Iran, Syria, and Sudan.”

    all i have to say is duh it’s Illinois. They have a illness and they make alot of noise. I realize not everyone from that state feels this way but where are they. I know they where at work earning a paycheck why these slackers want their free hand out. I have said this once and i will say it again NOTHING is free. We also live in america speak english and go threw the legal ways to come here or go home because i and many people are tired of paying for you to do nothing.

    And if the borders are opened and we are flooded with all but the richest in Mexico and the drug lords there and the United States becomes just another Mexico, where will those of us in the United States go to escape the same kind of drug violence and poverty that plague Mexico? Will we move to Mexico and try to rebuild it into another United States? And when the terrorist flood across the open borders these people want, will they be happy to die as the terrorists plan and carry out their terrorism? I want these questions answered. The United States cannot sustain open borders. We cannot afford the welfare and other entitlements for a flood of immigrants. We cannot afford to educate and house them.

      I have no idea why you guys like your borders so much. All it ever does is slow us down while traveling. So what if it enables us to regulate a little bit better enemies who would try to come here and hurt us. Don’t try that criminals and drugs argument on me either. What’s a little criminality and drugs anyway? And I for one am not opposed to paying higher taxes to fund people’s health care and social security whether they have paid into the system or not. As a matter of fact why don‘t we just fund a number of Mexico’s social programs. After all we unethically took Texas from them anyway. I am sure this is the least we could do.

      Are we careening toward the cliff or are we already there, just waiting for Barack Obama to take us the final inch? He is well on his way to making sure that we can never recover from this one, folks. This great social experiment in freedom and liberty is nearing the end, because we’ve become something that we are not built to sustain: a government-dependent society. We just simply transition from mommy and daddy to congressman and senator as our caretakers. And while we’re living off the government teat we demonize those few people out there who actually do show independence, initiative and drive .. and become wealthy and fuel our economy in the process.
      I know that I post outrageous facts and figures nearly every day. And for most of you, your eyes glaze over and you skim until you see a dirty word or a typo. It’s the typos that bring out the rage and the emails … but that‘s the nature of the beast we’re dealing with right now. But even though my job is to entertain you, these are the facts and figures that will dictate the future for your children and your grandchildren. So how bad have things gotten? This is from the Weekly Standard ..

      .. if national defense, interstate highways, national parks, homeland security, and all other discretionary programs somehow became absolutely free, we’d still have a budget deficit.

      That’s a pretty impressive stat. Makes these Congressional budget cuts seem like peanuts .. 6% here, 4% there. Even if they completely eliminated all discretionary programs, we would still have a deficit. Why is that? Because we are being completely railroaded by mandatory spending .. by entitlement spending. That’s why. Consider this fact from the Weekly Standard:

      The White House Office of Management and Budget projects that in the current fiscal year (2011), mandatory spending alone will exceed all federal receipts. So even if we didn’t spend a single cent on discretionary programs, we still wouldn’t be able to balance our budget this year — let alone pay off any of the $14 trillion in debt that we have already accumulated.

      Even with Obama’s projections, which rely on an unsustainable level of revenue, we still won’t come close to matching outlays! Tim Carney of the Washington Examiner explains:

      Since 1950, total federal revenues have averaged 17.8 percent of GDP. There has been only one year when it exceeded 20 percent of GDP (and only two years when it reached 20 percent). Yet Obama says that‘s where we’re headed.
      Obama’s budget foresees the government taxing 20 % of GDP and spending 23 percent of GDP. That means if we spend as much as Obama wants, we would be increasing our debt every year, unless Washington could somehow get 23 percent of GDP through tax receipts. This might not be impossible, but history shows that no matter how much you tax the rich, 20 percent is a stretch and 23 percent is impossible without some major change to our tax system — like adding a value-added tax (VAT).

      So there you go. Barack Obama’s budget is simply unsustainable. The Community Organizer panders to the moocher class and may well get reelected … but he is destroying our country … and some people believe that was his goal from the very beginning. There are sustainable arguments to support that theory. Obama is basing his figures on tax revenue that is historically impossible to achieve .. unless we implement another way to collect taxes! Uh oh, do you see where this one is going?

The conservative politicians should comdemn events like this and espose these groups for what they are: enemies of our republic. If these socialists are not challenged, they will most certainly think they have the momentum to take over. You can’t count on average liberals to wake up and realize their party has been coopted by socialists.       We are now entering a re-founding revolution. Our choice of weapon is the freedom of us speakin. We choose to fight in the arena OF THOUGHT and our founders had superior. But now in OUR house they all snub the constitution. Did they swear to us to GOD or some sort of alien. If to GOD what a shame but one day they‘ll meet with him and if to us then there LIARS and it’s time for us to replace all them. OUR CONSTITUTION our BILL OF RIGHTS and no interpretation that‘s how we’ll finish this re-founding revolution. So now it’s time for the 28th amendment “No authority can tax a SOVERIGN STATE CITIZEN” It’s also time for OUR state representatives to come back home and start representing them. After that we’ll be headed towards a different place, a place OUR founders intended for the human race. So much HOPE so much CHANGE and new innovation. WE pray to GOD for this re-founding revolution. Hey U.N. we’re sorry for all the confusion, but those treaties that we signed are against OUR CONSTITUION. So what were saying is that it’s time for us to hit the road and that building in New York will be sub-divided into condos… So much HOPE so much CHANGE and new innovation WE pray to GOD for this re-founding REVOLUTION. Rise Up People!!!!!!

That is probably lost on you and you probably did not understand that I was doing the same thing in my other posts. If you follow me long enough you will find I am probably one of the most conservative posters on here. I like to use humor and sarcasm to frame the absurdity of the left.       Does this mean if they are calling for a Revolution that now we can counter that and get rid of them?

      If they declare it we can respond and get them all out of this Country. I don’t like that picture with the Christians lock up in a camp with barb wire around it and the Nazi sign on Uncle Sam. Looks to me like they just want a fight.
